Minnie’s Bar is such a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The vibe is always so chill and welcoming, and you can tell the owners really put effort into creating a safe, inclusive space for everyone. Whenever I’m there, it always feels like the right place to be. The drinks are amazing – super creative and well-made, with something for everyone, (Ps: the castle & key gin and tonic is the best gin cocktail I’ve ever had) Plus, the pinball games they have are a great touch and make it even more fun. The back patio is a bonus. Honestly, Minnie’s has become one of my go-to spots in the neighborhood. Great people, great drinks, and a really good time every visit. Highly recommend!

A cute queerish bar. I’ve meet a lot of really sweet people here. The bartenders put up with zero nonsense when it comes to making sure customers (esp GLBTQIA+) feel safe. Open till 4AM! They have food and sometimes a a pop up in the kitchen. Big patron out back with a cool Colombian game called Sapo. Pinball and games in the back room. Saturday there is karaoke, once a month there is a sweet movie night. Trivia on Wednesdays, dance party monthly (?) on Friday. Thursdays/Fridays seem to be the queerest nights. Oh, and there’s ALWAYS toilet paper in the bathrooms.

I had a night in Brooklyn (Sunset Park) because I wanted to be closer to JFK for a flight the next morning. I booked my hotel based on pics not knowing anything about the neighborhood. Well you get what you pay for…haha. The neighborhood is gritty to say the least. Filled with little deli bodegas and ethnic restaurants of all kinds. I was lucky that my hotel was close to what seemingly was the only “normal dive bar” around. I really had a wonderful time at Minnies. WillyWorld was pretty whiskey’d up as I didn’t get there until after 9pm (I think). The music was good and the bartender quick to get you a freshie. Drinks were cheap and the crowd was cool. Gosh the only issue I had was getting up to make that damd flight the next morn.

Everything. What a great find! In the course of one night we had great drinks, met several new friends, got into and out of arguments and learned a few things. Another great Brooklyn neighborhood bar that you know is good when the owners are there and come over to talk to you. I think my favorite thing was finding out that the bar was named after the owners dog who I also met!

We popped into Minnie's for Thursday night bingo, which was hosted by the lovely Jizzabella. The drinks were well priced, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the night was fantastic. The next time we find ourselves in Brooklyn, Minnie's Bar will be our first stop!

Great decor and drink selection with a lot of outdoor space. They serve pizza from Table 87 and appear to have a nice kitchen in the back for future pop-ups. Henry the owner was very nice and welcoming when I went with my girlfriend. The area has been in need a spot like this.

I've been here a couple of times and always enjoy the experience. Last time I came they had karaoke in the back and everyone in the bar was participating so it was a great time. This time it was a bit quieter but the staff is cool. The food options aren't that great but the vibes are.
