I have been Dying to try the Korean BBQ sandwiches and the taste totally lives up to the hype. I have to say that these were probably two of the best sandwiches I have ever had in my life. I tried the Seoul Food and the Steve Byrne and I will definitely be back to get them again and try some other items on the menu!!! They even held up so well as I traveled back home to Staten Island. Absolutely Delicious and the portion size definitely makes it worth it!!!
I was on a mission to finally try Mission Sandwich Social, and it delivered exactly what it promises. The concept is simple and confidently executed: big, unapologetically saucy sandwiches done right. I went with the Raging Bull, no cheese, and every bite still felt complete. Ingredients are piled high inside fresh-made bread, but what really sets it apart is the care in the build. Seasoning, dressing, and sauce are thoughtfully layered throughout, not lazily added as a final drizzle like you’ll find at too many modern sandwich shops. Each component tastes intentional, balanced, and cohesive, creating a sandwich that eats well from the first bite to the last. It’s generous without being sloppy, bold without being reckless. The setup is casual and streamlined, with counter-style ordering and just a couple of tables, most of the seating is lined along the windows Mission Sandwich Social fully backs up its name and its vision. If you’re anywhere near the area and in the mood for a serious sandwich, this one is absolutely worth the stop.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mission Sandwich Social Club is hands down the best sandwich spot in New York! The flavors are absolutely incredible—every bite is packed with taste, and you can tell they put real heart into their food. Brian, the man in charge, is the real deal. Whatever sandwich you’re craving, he’ll make it happen, and the service is always on point. The sandwiches are massive—easily big enough for three or four people to share—and yet every bite is consistently delicious. From the quality of the ingredients to the generous portions, everything here hits the spot perfectly. Great food, great service, great vibes. They truly deserve all the hype. If you’re in NYC and want a sandwich experience like no other, Mission Sandwich Social Club is the place to be.
Brooklyn’s Sandwich Gem! Obsessed! Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve had—super fresh, flavorful, and loaded with veggies. The portions are huge (a full sandwich can easily be shared), so come hungry! We tried the Peking Turkey—a perfect summer blend of American and Asian flavors—and the Taylor Swiss, which was just as amazing. Bonus points for the cute little box with your name and order on it—such a fun touch! This spot is officially my go-to whenever I’m in Brooklyn.
Fantastic fusion Sandwich shop. First look at the menu you would think it’s overpriced however your mind change quickly when you see the size of these monster sandwiches. Each sandwich is literally the size of a football and packed within their own carrying tote. I was curious based on all the social media videos and in the Steve Byrne sandwich so many are raving about. Let’s just say first and every ensuing bite was a flavor bomb explosion. I cannot wait to return for another speciality And oh yeah, everyone of their large sandwich can feed minimum two people. What a great concept sandwich shop.
I FINALLY had the opportunity to swing by Mission Sandwich today and it did NOT disappoint. However, before I get to the food, I'd like to note how clean and orderly everything was at Mission Sandwich. Plus the counter was also very tidy. It's the little things that go a long way. In addition the staff were very attentive and friendly. As for the sandwiches - WOW. I ordered the "Big Lucca" and not only was it delicious but the ingredients were very fresh. In addition the bread chosen to make the sandwiches is also top notch. The "Dutch Crunch" sourdough bread was tasty and soft. Apparently it's popular in the Bay area. BONUS: I found out about Mission Sandwich via a YouTube channel I watch often called "Chef Brian Tsao" who is the owner of the shop. What a surprise when I was able to have a quick chat with him when I was there! He is a true gentleman. Pro-tip: There are PLENTY of vegetarian AND vegan options for the non meat eaters out there. 🙏 Also the small order was more than enough for me, but I think the large would be a great option to split.
At first I was very skeptical because of the high price of the sandwich (26$ Steve Byrne) but as soon as I picked up the box I knew I got my money's worth. This thing was massive and heavy. A very delicious sandwich with fresh and high quality ingredients. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Great attention to detail, I liked that there was a napkin, wet wipes and a lollipop in the box Things I didn't like: The French fries were a bit too soggy. The waiting time was a bit to long for my liking.
Excellent!! They're sandwiches is yummy and thick, not lacking anything. My husband got the Chopped Cheese which has a nice kick cause the chipotle veganaise. I got the Gobbler which has a sweet side thanks to the cranberry sauce. We also got 2 bags of chips, 2 teas, a lemonade and a Liquid Death for around $56
5 stars! This should be the end of this review but I wouldn’t give justice to the best sandwich I ever had. In. My. Life!!! Juicy, succulent, fresh, fragrant, beautiful, on a delicious piece of bread. Great service. Expensive but justifiably so. Worth making a trip from anywhere, even from Lefferts Gardens. Actually, I’m kind of glad that it’s so far from where I live because I would go bankrupt very quickly. P.S. Wife concurs.
Excellent bread, nice balance of flavor, friendly staff, and perfectly crafted. Had the Cuban, which was a lighter take than the heavy hot salty versions you would normally expect, and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches, such as the Korean Beef one. Relatively expensive per sub, but reasonably priced since they are huge, and perfect for 2 meals, whether splitting with a partner, or saving for another meal.
Good sandwich shop with some innovative fillings all served in some really great bread! I had the big Lucca on my last visit and it hit the spot - maybe a tad too much vinegar for my taste but still really good and really really filling. I will say that unless you’re absolutely starving you probably only need a small - with a large perfect to share.
~3.5 stars, rounded up stopped at Mission Sandwich Social and picked up a “Gobbler.” the flavors were really good — turkey, provolone, onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo on Dutch Crunch sub roll. the sub gives you that Thanksgiving feeling + extra flavors and textures like bacon and melted provolone. almost picked up a sandwich here a year ago when it first opened but decided to wait until the hype died down. and i am glad i did. ordered a “small” which is half of full sub. people talk about how huge these sandwiches are BUT they really are not that big whether you get a “small” or a “large” which is a full sub. the lettuce ends up being a lot of filler (almost too much) and the amount of premium ingredients end up being what you get at any sandwich shop or deli. also for the price, Mission’s sandwiches ain’t that big—like most “small” sandos range from $13-$16 and “larges” $21-$25. there are a number of sandwich destinations that serve huge sandwiches and their offerings are larger than Mission’s and their prices are often less. overall, Mission combines flavors and ingredients really well imo and gets creative with the types of ingredients across its menu. the ingredients are quality. though i am not sure why people rave about Mission’s bread—it’s good but not really mind-blowing, considering the premium prices of the subs. the service is almost friendly but kinda curt. like one would expect a more lively vibe, but it’s really its customers that bring the energy.
Been meaning to pay Mission Sandwich a visit after seeing IG shorts for quite some time. Happened to be in the area and made it a point to pick something up. Went with the Chicken cutlet sandwich called The Menace. There is no seating so had to eat in the car which is kind of inconvenient considering the size of the sandwich. Sandwich was kind of big, so shared with a friend. Is it a big sandwich? Yes. Is it a big meaty sandwich such as those from Katz? No. It's a decent sandwich with plenty of veggies and tasty sauces. A little too much lettuce, maybe. The meat portion was kind of smallish for a sandwich of such size. Prices here are kind of high, but if you split with a friend, you end up with 15 bucks per person. Sure to visit again and try more items on the menu.
High quality of sandwiches. Expect 20 minute minimum wait for your food. The portions are huge but also very expensive. Expect to drop $40 for a sandwich chips drink if you go here. Good food just needs to get the timing of size of the food right and it would be a staple
