We’ve taken out from Nûrish a number of times for a quick lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the staff and owner are kind. A nice atmosphere inside and a great place to have in the neighborhood!
Nûrish absolutely lives up to it's name. Each dish we ordered was impressively well-balanced. The ratio of protein/veggies/carbs were on point and the price made it a real value. A healthy dine-in or take-out gem.
Love this place. Food is great! Healthy, fresh and delicious. The staff friendly too, always attentive and willing to explain every detail of the menu. 🤎
This is definitely by far the best thai place. I keep trying new places to see if they're better and I always just wish I ordered from here.
Very cute cafe. Got the salmon wrap, and it was fresh yum. Everyone here is very friendly, would come again if/when i’m in the neighborhood.
Such a great atmosphere and the kindest service! Elijah made me another açaí bowl free of charge because he noticed mine was too watery—so sweet!!!
Wow I have passed this restaurant several times and have been meaning to go in. I went in today and got the jerk chicken sandwich. First bite and I knew I had to say wow. It was delicious. I shall be back to try more items.
I enjoy the food, fresh juices, and soft blues playing in the background. Its black-owned. Owner welcomes everyone on entry. Try "The Most" with a baked egg on top.....
Great place. Good vibe + super yummy food. A great place to start or end your journey or bike ride and replenish your body with natural juices, smoothies and healthy food!
Ginger shots are amazing..
One of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while. Perfect little coffee shop, fresh pastry, lovely customer service and outdoor seating!
I came to Nurish after reading about the owner, Elijah Bah, in the Summer 2022 edition of the Brooklyn Magazine. It was so great to receive a latte from the owner himself!
The is the best healthy option in the neighborhood and I am thrilled it exists and offers the early hours they do! There are SO many option for all types of diets here and the juice/smoothie options are also a great treat! I might eat here every day for the rest of my life, honestly this makes my life so much easier. Thank you for existing!
Love it here! The welcoming good vibes and delish treats! Immaculate and hard to leave... My go to in BK
I love Nurish so much!!! High quality food that makes you feel good. Hits the spot whether I'm in the mood for a green juice and hearty salad or yummy coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Everyone who works there is awesome-- good vibes all around!
Love this cafe! A small & black owned business with delicious smoothies, amazing egg sandwiches, & very kind staff! Highly recommend the James Power smoothie, the Ms. Debbies’ smoothie, & the Nûrush (croissant sandwich)!
I love everything I’ve tried here. The bowls and salads are satisfying portions of fresh veggies and flavorful seasonings. Highly recommend the tofu quinoa bowl! Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast.
This place is amazing. Best lunch in the neighborhood. Make your own warm bowl with salmon omggg.
This place is SOOOOO good. Everything I’ve gotten has been delicious but the Nurish breakfast sandwich is a favorite. Also 10/10 for the vibe and every interaction here. I always leave in a good mood even when it’s just a to-go order.
I rarely leave reviews, but had to for Nurish. Hearty, healthy, delicious fresh food, good for the body and the soul. Try the garlicky portobello bowl, and ask for an extra helping of the yummy dressing! I live in LIC and only wish that Nurish was closer so I could go there every week! Let's try and give them business in these trying times friends. 10/10
The lentil soup is really good, i love the asian bowl, seaside juice, flu fighter. prices are reasonable. make sure to look at the menu at the register because it includes a lot more food options than the chalk board. Have been wanting a vegetarian sandwich, salad, soup place on my block and this is it!
WOW! Just wow. What a treat, healthy, clean, delicious food made with love. Owner clearly takes pride in the restaurant and the product shows. All the staff seems happy to be here. Support black-owned businesses! ❤️ thank you nurish!
Simple, delicious and I'm so happy they opened up. Fantastic place for vegetarian food, and I'm a carnivore. Tofu is great, spinach is great, and just an overall lovely experience.
I love Nurish! The veggies and proteins are great quality, and the sauces are all delicious. The folks who work there are also v.v. nice. Great outdoor seating too. Always great music playing too.
I’ve been here a few times now and I really like it! I used to work near a place that closed and when I heard that one of the guys opened this place I had to try it. It was so nice to see friendly, familiar faces and it’s perfect for a healthy breakfast or lunch. Thanks for keeping the healthy nibbles vibe alive!
Great experience! We had a delicious breakfast. The eggs, the smoothie, cappuccino and espresso, all was very tasty. The staff was helpful and friendly.
I was having a strong pregnancy craving for lots of tuna and they delivered!!!!! Very very good food and very fast
Nurish is a consistently great spot in the neighborhood—the food is inarguably good and high quality, with generous portions, and the people are extremely nice. I have no doubt they’ve been key players in keeping the local WFH crowd from getting scurvy.
Super friendly people, especially in the morning. I get my regular smoothie and today I had the banana bread and the banana bread was incredible!
Bright, open space! Great music and excellent food/coffee. The staff is incredibly nice and generous of spirit. My new favorite gem in the neighborhood!
I love this place! Very welcoming and cozy. My cappuccino was delicious and so beautiful. A lot of options healthy options for food and drinks. Quick service and friendly staff.
We were extremely happy with our takeout food, thank you so much! The vegetables were fresh and tasty, we loved our shake and wraps, and can’t wait to try the soup as well once we get home!
My go to breakfast and lunch spot in the neighborhood. Great quality food made with care. Always fresh, amazing flavors and wonderful service. Appreciate them being open to the community during this time.
This is my 4th visit to Nurish and again it DID NOT disappoint! The food is made fresh to order with the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is wonderful. The space is clean and welcoming with plenty of seating. If you are looking for heathy clean eating options you will NOT be disappointed.
This place is REALLY good. Definitely a cut above Sweetgreen or other comparable salad/bowl places. All the ingredients taste fresh and high quality, plus the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Try the jerk chicken!!
My sister recommended Nûrish to me, and after experiencing it firsthand, I can see why she enjoys it so much. I've had the pleasure of eating at this spot twice now, and both times have been nothing short of amazing. The food isn't just good; it's fresh, flavorful, and healthy. You can really tell they put a ton of love and attention into every dish, using quality ingredients that make each bite a delight. One thing that really stood out to me was how friendly and accommodating the staff are. They go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of, which just adds to the overall great experience. I decided to write this review since I’m about to place a to-go order. I really wish they would open a spot in my neighborhood, but that won’t prevent me from making this one of my go-to spots for brunch.
This place is so chill and a great place to get something delicious and actually a good cup of joe!!
Mint had great recommendations - a great meal!
Stumbled on this as I was looking for another coffee shop and glad I did! Lattes were excellent, and breakfast sandwich was really good. Portion was a little large (3 eggs) but taste was on point. Seems like a great spot to hang out. Would revisit!
SO delicious!! Perfect for vegans or non vegans! Got the veggie bowl and it’s incredible - so satisfying, filling and healthy! Go here for any meal of the day! You won’t regret it :) and the owner is so kind!! Personally brought us extra sauces to try!
I went in yesterday for a business lunch. The food, vibe, and service was amazing. My create your own warm bowl came to me hot(love) I enjoyed what I could eat before taking the rest as a rushed to a meeting. I will be returning with my family.
I have yet to order something at Nurish which hasn't completely blown my mind in terms of quality, freshness and taste. Every single menu item is outstanding. Salads, incredible. Wraps, incredible. Juices & smoothies, incredible. I consider myself a well-seasoned foodie so I'm not easily impressed, but everything here is truly a hit. I am new to the neighborhood and feel so lucky to live close to this place. It's every health-conscious persons dream spot. I don't even want to know the amount of money I have already spent and have yet to spend at Nurish! Hats off to the owners. What a gem.
the warm bowls are the epitome of “feels like home.” veggies are steamed/boiled and the spices used are full and soothing. highly recommend 💜
Excellent food, staff and menu options. This is officially a staple when staying in the area.
I just ate a really tasty brioche egg sandwich with smoked salmon and had a cup of coffee with oat milk for around $16 plus tip. The dude who runs it seems super pleasant. Tasty, as healthy as you choose to make it, and lovely ambiance. I really hope this place makes it, this location has had a few different businesses in the last few years. Plus indoor dining! Warm and cozy!
This is such a special spot!! The owners and staff take obvious joy out of creating each wonderful and delicious meal. Everyone is so kind and the food is spectacular! Amazing plants and vibes in this place. Gets great sunlight early in the morning on the outside patio. A neighborhood treat!
My family is a big fan of Nurish! The food and coffee are all delicious! I’ve tried a lot of the menu, but the new kale sandwich is incredible. Highly recommend.
Great food. Ordered the rude boi as a wrap and the James Power smoothie. Delicious. Nutritious. Not cheap but worth it. Nice decorations. Chill staff. Would eat there again in a heartbeat.
We had the scrambled eggs on brioche and it was really good! The iced lattes were also perfect!
Love this new neighborhood spot. It’s cozy great homemade cooking. Excellent coffee!!! The staff is friendly and makes me feel welcomed. Spread the word, soon it will be your favorite go to for delicious high quality nourishing food.
If you are looking for goods vegan options, breakfast or lunch, this is the place. Love the music playlist wherever I’m in town. Fresh food!
Nurish in Brooklyn is a culinary gem, offering a diverse menu of flavorful dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The cozy ambiance and attentive service enhance the experience, making it a must-visit spot for food enthusiasts in the borough. Personally, the Nurish croissant has become my go-to choice - buttery, flaky, and simply irresistible.
The food is beyond amazing !!! This is my first time and I can’t get over how good I feel after eating here . Elijah and Dana are so sweet, the owner is hands on and helping out in the front too . This place is 10/10 it’s going to be my fav number 1 spot to eat .
Always tasty when I've been eating a load of junk food and am craving something filling and nutritious! I love their farro bowls and the option to build your own. Great range of options with good flavor.
12/10 ! . A variety of breakfast options and inarguably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. We ordered a Nurish egg breakfast sandwich, iced coffee, and a Ginger Berry smoothie. One key standout is this menu also has a range of healthy options. All around delicious and highly recommend.
I really hope this place uses clean ingredients because boy oh boy one of the best bowls I ever had. I have a new favorite and that jerk sauce my gosh! 🔥 I had Jerk chicken, quinoa, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and zucchini’s. Only down fall cheap on the amount of protein i literally got 3 slices of chicken.
I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything here is so thoughtfully done.
Let me chill in the warm before my girlfriend showed up. Yummy treats and fresh bowls.
Besttttttt breakfast I ever had! My friend and I walked in today as the restaurant we planned to go to was full. When I walked in the music was chill, the atmosphere, welcoming. We both ordered The Nurish Croissant….I am 5 months pregnant and food just doesn’t hit the same anymore. But this….it was juicy, delicious, filling. I didn’t feel like a grease ball after eating it or sluggish. It was so good I ordered one for lunch for my boyfriend, same day. I will be back to try more! But this my new breakfast spot when I’m in the area 🩷
Healthy, delicious food! Everything I’ve had from here has been amazing including the bevs like the iced cortado and green juice. My go to whenever I need something hearty and fresh.
High quality, well-prepared food and friendly service. I’ve gotten a sandwich and a few wraps and each was delicious, fresh, and satisfying.
Healthy and nourishing food that is excellently sourced. Nurish is a vital staple in BK and New Jersey; it offers a vast menu of food that is simple, fresh and tasty. I usually get the brioche and egg sandwich and a latte. Also, I occasionally get the chicken sausage added into my egg and cheese. A tad on the pricey side but you know it’s going to who works at Nurish and the ingredients cannot be topped. Truly a treasure - the owner does great work
Health food cafe with plenty of options and dietary accommodations. There’s a laidback, neighborhood feel and staff have always been friendly. For someone that’s trying to eat clean, this spot uses fresh ingredients that work really well together. The prices are hefty but the portions make up for it on most of the items. Great spot in the Prospect Heights area! Below is a breakdown of what I ordered, along with my thoughts. Asterisks (*) indicate items I especially enjoyed and would recommend ordering again. *The Nurrita Breakfast Burrito ($16) - One of favorites here. It’s packed with veggies, eggs, and potatoes. You can forget the hot sauce since this burrito does not miss! Queen Caesar Wrap ($17) - As caesar wraps go, I’m not mad about this one. It’s pretty one-dimensional with a decent amount of chicken. Some citrus and croutons would level it up.
I don't often feel compelled to write Google reviews but my life was changed after my first bite of the Tell It All Salad. It's the most delicious and simple salad with fresh, clean ingredients. If marrying a salad was legal and I wasn't already married, then I'd be married to this salad. Also for the record, I ordered this salad last week and forgot to add the dressing and it was still delicious which, by salad standards, should be considered impossible.
The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. There is some indoor and outdoor seating. The place is small and cozy but it does get VERY loud due to the blender going when they get a lot of orders. It’s easy for this place to get packed but the line moves quickly. The food is very fresh and again, tastes AMAZING. I got the rude boi sandwich and an apple blossom green juice. My total was $20
I’m on my fourth bite and already planning my next visit here. I literally googled “quinoa bowl” while walking through Prospect Park and decided to try this spot. It’s immaculate. Warm vibes. Happy hearts. Peaceful energy. I ordered the cleansing tonic juice (10/10) and the farro & veg bowl with egg and salmon added (11/10!). (Note: The salmon is a generous fillet!) The atmosphere gives hanging at your favorite cousin’s house. Cleo Sol playing on a cold fall day. I love it. Fully recommend.
I was craving oatmeal and found Nurish while on vacation in NYC. It was a hike for us to get there but SO WORTH IT! It was truly the best oatmeal I’ve ever had. It had a creamy consistency with an added crunch from the granola topping. The fruit compote added the perfect balance of sweetener. It was a healthy serving that went well with delicious freshly brewed coffee. I wish I had a Nurish close to my home.
crazy to say this, I drink coffee everywhere and I’ve got professional barista training myself, this coffee shop tho, wow! One of the most delicious lattes in the neighborhood. My go to is: almond latte 💖 lovely, clean, always nice staff & many options for VEGAN 🌱 food, I would 10/10 recommend 🔥
It was ok, we dined in but all the food was served in to go utensils which took away from the experience. Party of 7, most enjoyed their food and drink.
Absolutely delicious coffee and smoothies! Cute Brooklyn atmosphere where some folks are working on their design or writing projects, and some discussing their startups. Not giving five stars because the sandwiches were unfortunately slightly disappointing, over toasted and flavorless. Will come back to try other items on the menu. :)
The food was healthy and decent—- the service, however was not so good. After inquiring with the restaurant about how they operated for dining in, I was told they would find me at my seat once the food was ready. They asked for my name and I found a seat. After waiting for over 20 minutes and having the waitress come up to me three times with other peoples orders and seeing people who ordered after me receive their meal, I went to inquire about my food. I was told that they “couldn’t find me so we left your meal at the front”. I was extremely upset because I had been waiting for my meal and this operation wasn’t an efficient one. Plus I knew I had been in a location where I could be seen and found because clearly the waitress came up to me several times. While eating my food I also found a piece of plastic in the meal. I probably will never return just base on this experience. Very unfortunate.
Really cute space, my friend and I stopped by after yoga and found this place on our walk back in the neighborhood. We both had the kale salad, it was good for us both being on a cleanse (nice combination of veggies), I had the dressing on the side and the kale would've been better if it was 'pre-massaged' but for what it was, it felt overpriced, the price point would typically include a protein at other salad places, but this did not.
I built a bowl. The jerk chicken was pleasently spicy, and the cauliflower, brussel sprouts, farrow, and corn were all properly cooked and reasonably flavorful. However, the lemon thyme vinaigrette was too sweet and the bowl was not as filling as I'd hoped given the $15 price.
Food is pretty good: garlicky portobello bowl was ok, the avocado toast with lox was delicious. Good coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. Star deductions are for their environmental sustainability setup. EVERYTHING is given in single use containers, even if you’re ordering to stay. That is unacceptable—in this world we shouldn’t just be avoiding plastic packaging (which their cups and lids are plastic or paper that is plastic lined), but all single-use containers—especially when patrons ask to dine-in, not to-go. Their reason for this is supposedly COVID, that they can’t disinfect everything. Yet the staff doesn’t wear masks and no mask policy for the location exists. Simply washing plates and cups between use is enough, like so many other restaurants do.
Food/drinks and service are great! However, prices are a little high, and I noticed the tip is calculated on the post-tax amount.
If you enjoy over-priced and long waits, this is your dream! Save yourself time, and the hassle of finding extra charges, because they “raised the prices”. Go to Aura Coffee, just a block away. Better food, half the price.
I’m shocked by the good reviews. $21 for half a bowl of quinoa, cold mushy flavorless veggies and undercooked tofu 😭. So disappointed.
They refused to honor my purchase through ClassPass because they decided to stop working with ClassPass…apparently without telling them. Walked 20 mins each way in the rain for them to take my money, not give me food, and waste in total an hour of my time (I sat on ClassPass customer service to try to get my money back.)
rude staff, overpriced, allergen liabilities. Paid $9 for a small smoothie, clarified ALMOND butter not PEANUT. When I got the smoothie it tasted like peanut (pretty distinct flavor especially for someone who used to be ALLERGIC). I asked the people at the counter to clarify that it wasn’t peanut. They said yes it’s almond, they taste the same (?) and gestured to the jars sitting right next to each other, but said they could make me another. I asked to taste the almond butter to clarify and the guy at the counter said they’ll just make another and acted like I was wasting their time. Lo and behold the new smoothie did not taste like peanuts, they had been wrong the first time. It’s super DANGEROUS to give someone the wrong nut butter, you don’t know if they’re deathly allergic or something, and they acted like I was imagining it. Pay more attention especially when handling one of the most common allergens in the world. Bf paid $16 for a croissant egg sandwich which could’ve been half the price at most.
Good healthy local spot. But the prices on their website are so outdated that it's deceptive - intentional or not. I ordered one item on their website that was marked as $18 and it rang up as $27. Absolutely unacceptable.
Music is too loud. It’s a café not a club.
I stopped by this cafe and it was a bad experience. The acai bowl was super watery and way too sweet. They also forgot our order and didn't even say sorry. Really disappointing.
Very bad matcha, did not taste fresh nor well mixed at all. Could taste the powder.
