I was passing this place for a quiet some time, but at last had an opportunity to dinner there. It looked bigger from the outside, but it didn't affect my experience. I have read reviews and ordered their famous chicken wings, which were really good. Also, I had a shishito peppers that were very good, too, and the portion was quite generous. I had kale salad, and of course, their pizza. I had white pizza, and I almost singlehandedly finished the whole pie. The service was good too and our waitress was very friendly. The only complaint that I would have thst they better wash their greens, so I it won't have a sand in the salad. But overall, I had a pleasant experience and will be back to try more of their dishes.

Best wings I’ve ever had. Brussels were perfectly prepared. Espresso martinis hit the spot. Chef Rob’s pizza combinations will have you downing extra slices. Next day americanos and brunch pizza. Cannot wait to come back for more.

The food here is absolutely incredible. Their pizzas have great texture and an abundance of toppings. I love their wide silent ion of veggie sides and vegan pizzas. Portions are on point. Can’t wait to come back!

Ok it’s a cheat code if you know someone who works at a great place for food & excellent service? Oh well it’s New York, everyone knows someone that knows someone and I so happen to have the best of both when dining at PDA! Great place to meet unique people and occasionally host awesome events. Welcoming family friendly atmosphere and big on community building through their open door mindset!

The Commish pizza, a thin pie with an incredible slightly sweet/slightly spicy sauce, is one my pizza Mt. Rushmore. Pair it with PDA's espresso martini and adult vibes, and have a great time. Its a pretty small joint, but that adds to the intimate nature (I'd be big mad if I couldnt get a seat, but that's yet to happen).

Traveling the World

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Public Display of Affection - the food was excellent. We did the pepperoni pizza, arancini, and meatballs (with focaccia) and each we great. Service was very friendly. We would definitely return and if anything we were surprised that it wasn’t busier given the quality of the food (though it was midday on a summer Friday).

I loved the thin crunchy pizza crust, the generous amounts of toppings, and how fresh everything tasted. The homemade meatballs on the special pizza almost stole the show. Even the arancini managed to be interesting on their own. The staff was and the food came out fast.

A cute place with excellent service! The menu is small because you can tell they've thought through every dish. The sangrias were watery but the cocktail was very good. The kale caesar is delicious and cheesy but a bit too salty. However, the lemon zest really cuts through the fattiness and saltiness. The arancini balls are so creamy with a delicious spicy sauce. We got the spicy meatball pizza, which was good overall but the crust was a little soggy.

Very cozy intimate spot with more outdoor seating than indoors. Place is decorated with lots of kitschy knick knacks including a bathroom tip box. Service was fast, like the pasta and Commish pizza. Unfortunately for the BLT pizza the kale was burnt to a crisp detracting from the flavor. Pies were good otherwise.

PDA has some of the best shishito peppers ive ever had. Whatever they put on it is sooo good. Their wings are also really good. I have had their pesto pasta twice and it was great the first time but unsalted the second time. Their pizza is good as well. The only thing i find to be meh is their cocktails. I’d stick to non alcoholic or wine. But definitely a place worth trying and coming back to.

There is a reason no one is talking about this place anymore. It is stuck in a mid 2010s time warp. Paramore is playing on the speakers every fourth track. The food is tasty, but nothing exceptional. Avoid the cocktails, they are terrible. If you are looking for a neighborhood eatery, it'll do the trick, but I would not go out of my way to check this place out.
