We got the Schweinshaxe and the Farmer's Bratwurst. Both were great. Schweinshaxe was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside with the meat falling off the bone easily. Knodel was decent. The bratwurst was also good with a nice portion size and plenty of cabbage and mustard to go along. While the food deserves maybe 8/10 I would say the service is 10/10. We came at noon not aware they only start serving Schweinshaxe at 4PM so we told them we would be back at 4PM. When we walked back in at 4PM they instantly sent an order to the kitchen to begin preparing our Schweinshaxe. Very proactive service! Would recommend.
Phenomenal experience ! Was randomly walking by and the positive vibe from inside interested me immediately! Sat at the bar and bartender was welcoming instantly very kind very professional food was amazing service was amazing keep up the good work guys!
We decided to try some German beer, and upon entering, we were met by Jack and Linna. As it was our first time visiting, we were extremely happy to receive a highly professional explanation of the different German beers available. Following Jack’s suggestion, we also tried the sausage platter, which was excellent. We had a great time and are already looking forward to coming back. I will certainly be highly recommending your establishment to others.
Amazing service by Jack at the bar, very helpful and friendly. I stopped for a german beer and ended up having two liters. Welcoming environment. Updated: visited again this place, and it did not disappoint, the beer selection is great, the food and the service is excellent.
We stumbled upon this place while walking and decided to give it a try and boy are we thrilled that we did!!!! The German food was authentic and simply amazing. We tried the kielbasa and kase-wurst and then the best apple strudel made fresh. Of course we also had some German beer and wine. Everything was reasonably priced and we had fantastic service from our server Fiona and the manager James. I highly recommend you visit when in the area. We will certainly visit every time we are in NYC.
We came late on a Thursday. Can I just say… wow. The service was amazing. James was attentive and walking around checking on patrons. The waitress was checking in, perfect timing. The star was THE FOOD. And of course the drinks…. I’m more of a cocktail person, and for a “beer” place they did not disappoint! And we DID try a few cocktails, AND beers. You have to try the Sauerbraten! But don’t miss out on the potato pancakes either… honestly you can’t go wrong here. Even coming in after 9pm… the food and service were on point! Ask for Amanda… she is awesome.
Came in hoping they’d be willing to change one of the TVs so we could catch the volleyball championship—and without hesitation, Jack made it happen. That kind of service instantly sets the tone. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the food, but was pleasantly surprise, every single thing we ordered was delicious. Great vibes, great service, and food that absolutely delivers. We’ll definitely be back.
We hosted a party of 20+ at Reichenbauch Hall and the entire experience was outstanding. The atmosphere alone sets the tone—warm, lively, and exactly what you’d hope for in a classic German-style restaurant. Our server, Ben, delivered superior service from start to finish. He handled a large group with ease, kept everything moving, and never missed a beat. The food matched the service—especially the sausage platter, which was a standout. Authentic flavor, great portions, and a hit with everyone at the table. A special thanks to Ana, who made the event incredibly easy to plan. Clear communication, no hassle, and everything came together exactly as promised. Highly recommend Reichenbauch Hall for both small dinners and large group events. They know how to do it right. Prost!
Walked in off the street because the 0oace looked cool. I did not expect to find a full German beirhaus near my hotel. Just by sitting at the bar, I met Amanda, Fiona, Sherin, James, and Sarita all of them super-friendly. As a solo traveler, that means the world, so I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff here. They are wonderful. The food is delicious. The German Mac and Cheese was exactly what I needed. The Black Forest cake (that I dived in to, so no photo...sorry! ) was also very good. Lots of choices to drink. As a cider fan, I genuinely enjoyed the cider they have on tap. All in all, 5 stars and I highly recommended it. 🍻🍻
This is an amazing restaurant! Great food and atmosphere. The staff is terrific, always willing to help answer questions and make food and beer suggestions. You can't go wrong here. BONUS...if you are looking something on NYE. They are offering a spectacular Bavarian feast and open bar! Visit and ask about it. Also, remember there are multiple hotels within walling distance of the restaurant. Check it out! You won't be disappointed!
Great spot for some solid German brews and tasty sausage! My husband got the Kielbasa and absolutely loved it. The pretzel is amazing as well. Our server, Jack, was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely make it back here. Great spot for bringing a group of friends for a chill afternoon.
Reichenbach Hall is an absolute gem in NYC! The atmosphere during Oktoberfest is incredible – lively, festive, and full of great energy. They have an excellent selection of German beers that perfectly complement the celebration. I also loved that they feature live music on Fridays, which makes the experience even more fun and authentic. The bar and wait staff are amazing and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A special shoutout to our server, Sarita – hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met in NYC. She was friendly, attentive, and really made the night memorable. If you’re in the city, I highly recommend visiting Reinbach Hall, especially during Oktoberfest. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy great beer, music, and outstanding service! 🍻

Awesome choices for beer. As well as the best cider from Bavaria. Felt comfortable and wish we had a place like this at home. Our server, Rudy was the best.

The atmosphere is definitely great as if I am in Germany. Great German beer and food. Food wise is decent, good portion. Overall good times here. Half chicken is tasty (bit on the salty side) but huge portion for one person. Street food style sausage is great if you are not looking for big meal. Great service from Sarita, and great mixed cocktail.
We got the currywurst and the schnitzel with the mushroom sauce. They were decent but the fries were cold and soggy. The curry sauce was mild for our taste. The service was ok--they forgot our beers, which eventually came after food. The environment is quite nice and has a good German vibe.
After walking a tonne, we wanted a place to kick out feet up and get a good beer and we stopped by the Reichenbach Hall. The location is super faithful to a Bavarian beer hall, with all the wood accents and biertisch. The servers were accomodating and gave us plenty of time to order, though flagging them down for seconds and some grub was taking some time, even with a handful of people in there. We grabbed a Radler and a Hacker Pschorr Münchner Dunkel. Both were crisp and at a right temperature, not too cold that you can't taste anything and a beautiful pour. We also got the Currywurst and the Brussel Sprouts. The sprouts are fantastic, with charred bits of onion and greasy enough to go well with the beers. The Currywurst was a bit lacking though. The sausage was a good flavor but the tomato curry was not too flavorful and the fries were not appropriately salted and not crispy but more of a baked texture. All in all, a good place to grab a Stein and share a good chat with friends and family!
During my walk-in early dinner, Jack behind the bar is prompt, charming, and very professional in the way he handles customers. The music is at a comfortable level, with a German bent (not just standard top 40 radio). The beer is traditional and comes in every imaginable size from 12-16oz up to 3L. My bread dumplings were a little dense, but the gravy was rich and true to flavor. Step away from the lager and ipa, get an altbier or fastenbier, you will enjoy the variety.
Really good German restaurant. First time and it was overall a good experience but the service wasn’t great. They have a nice draft beer menu. The food was pretty awesome. I had a pork and beef brat. My wife had a chicken meal that was pretty awesome. My mom had their kielbasa. Everything was super tasty. We also shared their pretzel and potato pancakes. I would say one of the best details was their side dishes. Potato salad was awesome, red cabbage was really great as well. Sauerkraut was pretty great, too. It’s a big open hall with long tables. I don’t love that we couldn’t get our own table (we didn’t have a reservation). Good experience. Great food. Wish our server had come by to check on our table, but she really didn’t except for one stop during our meal and then to bring the check.

The food was not good. Sausages were too salty. chicken schnitzel was too dry. French fries were decent. Service was good. Maybe it's ok as a bar place, but wouldn't recommend for the food.

Very mid food. Schnitzel doesn’t resemble a proper Wiener Schnitzel. Beer is fire and so is the selection. The food is truly blah. I wouldn’t come here for that. They added ketchup as a condiment to schnitzel with potato salad and red cabbage? Too much breading. Come for the vibes and drinks and maybe a pretzel. Also service sucks. Bad attitude and no knowledge of the menu.
Great beer and atmosphere. Nonetheless, I am giving it 2 stars due to overall holistic experience as a customer. Although it is an option, the menus do not list out pricing for the “tower” shaped beer. Our server did not inform the pricing for the “tower” and I was under impression what we ordered was a “boot.” Turned out the tower itself is about $80 after I called and spoke with someone, who said they left my contact to manager. I didn’t get a follow up; not that is it needed. For the bill, I tipped 20% plus but later on realized I was charged $40 extra on credit card, thinking it was the deposit of $40 mistakenly left on the total bill. Is it my fault not clarifying what I wanted to order? Maybe it is. Perhaps more staff training will prevent it. But I found the practice confusing if not deceptive.
