Shah's Halal Food

I come here at least once a month due to how GOOD THE FOOD IS, service is always great and the guys are really nice and will always put in extra to make it overflow with goodness, I recommend it for someone who wants a large portion for a fair price

Generous portions, great prices. I've now tried the chicken, lamb, falafel and kofte (twice). The lamb and chicken are tender and flavorful; the lamb has delightful crispy bits. That said, get the kofte or falafel, which are both properly exceptional -- flavorful, moist, great complements to heavy-handed pours of white, green and BBQ sauce. Big fan of all halal and Shah's is top class (especially the kofte). Easy to see why Shah's was able to move from carts to brick and mortar. Harder to understand how their prices are still $10 for combo over rice. Probably a byproduct of substantial volume through delivery, much to the benefit of non-delivery folks.

BEST FOOD IN THE AREA, I was greated by the server his name was Ali and he also prepared my chicken and lamb platter. It was so delicious the sauce, fresh salad and the meat was tender and juicy! I recommend you try all the sauces Extra White all over with that green sauce some bbq and only one line of hot (the hot sauce is 🔥🔥 go easy!!) I’ll def be back to try a gyro soon!

I usually don’t order /eat out much and there are a handful of places I make exceptions but this restaurant has been consistent. My last four visits, the service has been great, the food is fresh and the atmosphere is positive. I knew from the first time I randomly stopped in on a whim, they cared about what they’re putting out. Customer service is great, they accommodate an ensure you have the best clumsily experience. I can appreciate them and will continue to order as well as refer. Don’t forget the green sauce, thank me later!

It's always a good idea to stop by for something to eat, the fried chicken sanwiche is amazing. Now that I've tried their combo rice, I don't know what I'll choose next time. Thank you very much for being open late, I will definitely come back.

My brother got some food from this place today and when I tell you that I am still thinking of those couple of bites I had, I really am not joking. FOOD IS SO GOOD!! Rice is so soft and flavorful and the lamb is well seasoned + the sauces on top add that kick of additional flavor. I’m already planning out the next time I’ll purchase food from them.

Decent food at reasonable prices. If you like this type of so called Halal food you probably have better chick or lamp over rice from a food truck. Some of the Halal food trucks in midtown are amazing, lots of flair because they make everything taste on the spot so they fresh. But food trucks can also get you sick. At Shah’s they have turn it into a fast food chain, so it’s clean following health department rule and what not. But then there is a trade off, freshness is not there. The food is sitting there on hot plates for hours till it’s serviced to you. The peppers and onions look saggy and sad and frankly the whole dish was kind of bland. But again it’s a clean and reasonably priced place that occasionally does the job.

First off, by some reason my first delivery guy canceled halfway to me (It can be Uber Eats fault), and then the second guy came after almost an hour of initial promised time, handed me my order in very poor condition, just a plastic bag tied, not sealed in any way, no check, no order details. Just a bag. I only ordered 2 items: food plate and coke can. Guess what, drink is missing!!! I called the restaurant before leaving any bad reviews, I don’t want to hurt any halal places reputation in any ways, but the answering person was rude and absolutely helpless too. Thats why here I am leaving 1 star review. Food itself was okay, not hot/warm. Almost cold. But the taste was fine, I guess it’s okay place if you eat in there. But I won’t be ordering any more and obviously won’t be there too.

Don't even try it, the food has no taste

I've ordered delivery at least six times. Every single time there's been an error with the order. I will never order from here ever again. Each time I've called and they argued with me that the order was correct. Do I need to take pictures to prove it? Not worth the headache. If you want good middle eastern food, order from Zaytoon's instead. At least they can deliver the correct order.

Food tastes like vinegar, service is horrible. They gave me the wrong order and they don’t have a number to call them, so there was nothing I could do.
