The Adirondack is a friendly neighborhood bar with a dive bar vibe but a nicer interior. Customers rave about the great beer selection, friendly bartenders (Kristen, Michele, Katie, Jenna, Thalia, and Justin), and cozy atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors.

Warm bar, great beer selection, wonderful staff.
Perfect for what it is. A cozy, laid back, neighborhood craft beer joint.
Been here many times over the years, hardly a regular. selection is always good and service is always great!
Great local. Bartender Will makes a stonking old fashioned!
Great place to sit in the sun and have a delicious beer or cocktail.
Really nice bar staff. Great diverse draught selection.
Great neighborhood bar. Friendly and welcoming regulars.
Favourite bar I've been to in a while. Perfect for sorting in the afternoon sun
Loved the Uncle Paulie sandwich! but I realize I didn't get a pickle =(
Good selection of craft beers and great bartenders
Laid back and warm setting. Authentic people and friendly bar tenders.
Gorgeous space, great service 👍
This is a really chill place with many good beers on tap and lovely decor.
Great local beer selection, nice outdoor seating!
Best bar in the neighborhood. Nice place to sit and talk. Friendly bar tenders
Best music and ambiance, great beer list and bartenders, good snacks
This bar makes me happy. All local brews and great bartenders.
Great selection of NYS craft beers. Prices are OK. Crowd is twenty something hipsterish. Lots of fun
New York State craft beers. Local bar for the whole neighborhood. I've spent so much time here it may as well be an extension of my apartment... I am not an alcoholic.
Reliable neighborhood spot. A good hang. They have food, but you’re not here for the food.
Awesome spot with nice indoor and outdoor seating, great tap list, and good food 🎯
My favorite local. Love everyone and everything about Adirondack. Will be my gold standard for a neighborhood bar for the rest of my life.
Laid back atmosphere, friendly bartenders, and Canadian beer. Recommended!
Chill. Great sammys. Great drinks. Great music.
Local neighborhood bar with craft beers and specialty cocktails. I love coming here grabbing a drink and sitting outside at night.
Cute cozy bar, very close to the train. Warm cocktails and a wide beer selection.
Great beer & cocktail menu and really good neighborhood bar vibe
Made a mistake and confused this bar With th another .... this spot is very cool and laid back. Great beers
Got beer, cocktails, and pretzels with beer cheese. It was all great and so was the bartender.
This place has a fantastic and personal staff! The beer selection is good and the food is delicious. The music is also classic pop which is nice.
Good selection of wines and local beers, friendly staff, great music and all-around good vibe. My new favourite bar in the area
Fun little bar! Nice atmosphere and wide selection of drinks. Bar tender was running in 8 different directions, she was great!
Hard to find this place but if u get there.. it's a gem.. great mixed cocktails and if u get to hang with Kristen all the better! Eat b4 or after unless u want a hot pretzel.. this spot is a blast
The perfect local, with tons of good beers brewed in New York State and friendly bartenders and customers. Lots of outdoor seating and bar snacks.
Great bar with excellent drinks and food if you looking for an enjoyable place to chill out in Windsor Terrace.
My favorite neighbor bar. The outdoor seating is weirdly located by the subway entrance but overall a nice place to have a drink.
My new local, very pleased to be near this place, you can roll out of the f train and your in a warm cozy spot with an excellent collection of eclectic brews served up by friendly bar staff.
This is a great cozy bar serving local NY beers. One of my favorite beer spots in the city. The worst thing about it is that I don't live close enough to it!
Went there on a Friday. Great atmosphere. Two friendly bartenders.
On Saturdays a woman named Kristen works at the window and behind the bar (I hope I’m spelling her name right). She is so much fun!!!!! We had a great time talking to her last night as we ordered drink after drink! You can tell that she is very passionate about her mixology, and it really shows in her cocktails. The hot buttered Rum and Hot Toddies she made were super delicious (and they are perfect for the current outdoor dining situation in the winter). My experience last night has definitely made this bar one of my favorites in Brooklyn. I will 100% be going back. Oh yeah, Kristen is certified to use the heat lamp outside and she will make sure that it’s in the PERFECT spot for you.
Staying in a nearby Airbnb on18th Street, I enjoyed 2 nights 23 and 24 Oct enjoying the different beers and ciders at this great pub. Many people obviously knew each other and the bartender was very helpful. I even enjoyed listening to some of the 70's music! There was even a pumpkin cutting competition for Halloween celebrations. Would recommend coming here.
Friendly bartenders, wide variety of N.Y. beer and cider and a great atmosphere. Not a sports bar, but you can watch the game here. They have some cool board games including ticket to ride Europe, and even an old school ms Pac man arcade game.the sidewalk seating is another great draw.
Having recently moved to Windsor Terrace, my wife and I had yet to visit The Adirondack. We ducked in here after getting off the subway two nights ago (the night before the storm), and we ended up staying for 2-3 hours. The bartender (Kristen, IIRC) was FANTASTIC--very friendly, recommended great beer, and completely found our wavelength with the music selection. The atmosphere was great--warm and inviting, especially on a blustery winter evening. As I mentioned, the beer selections on tap were solid, and we wound up trying--and enjoying--a couple of sandwiches and a pretzel with beer cheese. Without a doubt, we'll return soon... I think we've found our new favorite spot.
Our favorite neighborhood bar! Great bar with amazing bartenders! Shoutout to Michelle for her great service! The outdoor place is great to drink, and hangout with friends.
I live on the same block as The Adirondack and proudly, they have a good beer selection and the service is really great when business need every dollar spent. I had their hot pretzel and grilled cheese, which was very complimentary to my craft beer. Check the place out...spend your money here.
I met up with some old friends at the Adirondack and really appreciate that it's right off the subway at Ft Hamilton. I think this is a great place to go to if you want delicious appetizers and an amazing spicy margarita.
Great, comfortable neighborhood pub. The front outdoor area is excellent for meeting friends and sipping NY brews and/or cocktails. Nice owners, good service.
This place is the best, especially the staff. All live near the hood and understand the clientele perfectly. Great beer selection and always amazing conversations!
Great beer. Well curated. Defintely for the local craft drinker. Brilliant music playlist! Low key and laid back. Such a wonderful stop. So glad we stopped in!
Best bar in the neighborhood. Kick ass beer selection, and they always have something new to try. Bartenders are nice and super rad and the joint has a cool laid-back but cozy vibe. Good for small groups, and they have events on certain nights. And everyone I've ever met there is super bright. Definitely a bookworms-who-like-to-drink kind of place.
absolutely LOVE this bar. a very laid back vibe, and no matter who's behind the bar that day you'd find them to be some of the friendliest people in Brooklyn. they've got a great selection of beer on tap and some light snacks that are well worth it. bring a couple friends, have a great night here. (and it's cozy enough for date night!)
The Adirondack is a great spot in Windsor Terrace for local NY brews with an upstate vibe. Their beer on tap rotates semi often, is always fresh, and they introduce seasonal cocktails, all of which are delicious. The staff here is friendly, attentive, and have quality music playing. This has been my favorite bar around the area for some time and highly recommend it to anyone
Great service, if slightly short staffed. Nice hot pretzel and hot toddy. The picklebacks are what we needed.
Just a great damn bar. Great local beer selection and some small sandwiches. Wonderful outdoor space.
First time at the bar and a fan of the small town feel. Great service as well!
Loved this small neighborhood bar- they have a great drinks menu and the prices are reasonable for Brooklyn. Seating indoors and out, and had the vibe of a friendly locals bar.
I have been coming to The Adirondack for the better part of 10 years and the service is impeccable! A big thank you to Michele, Katie, Jenna, Thalia, and Justin for keeping the vibes so positive for all these years.
Nice little bar, good taps friendly staff. If you’re in the area, make a pitstop for a pint 🍺
Best bar in Windsor Terrace. Friendly, welcoming bartenders; great drinks; tasty, freshly made food; unbeatable neighborhood atmosphere. 10/10
This place has a perfect lynchian twin peek vibes. Great place to just pop in to decompress or take a break from the park. Warning, may lead to becoming a regular.
I stopped by this cozy little bar to get a couple of drinks and a quick bite. As soon as I entered, I instantly liked the atmosphere of this place, where even though it was a bit crowded, it wasn't too noisy. The bartender was nice, and the drinks he served were pretty good. They have some food menu options, but it is your standard bar food like soft pretzels, chips, grilled cheese, etc. Everything, including the food, is reasonably priced. They also provide outdoor seating for when the weather is warmer. Overall, I definitely recommend checking this place out, and personally, I think I found another local spot for me to just hang out and kick back a few drinks after work or on the weekend.
This is my favorite local bar. Great beer selection and amazing bites, too. The caprese sandwich is truly awesome. The atmosphere is awesome for summer with the outdoor seating and the indoor area is cozy and rustic for winter. I really love this place.
One of my favorite bars, they always have a great beer list of drafts and cans. They also have great cocktails and a simple but delicious food menu. The atmosphere is always friendly and for the nice days a nice dining shed and other outdoor tables to enjoy a tasty beverage while outside.
Nice outdoor seating options, beer menu is good and local
Good pub , great staff. Decent selection of beer.
Love the spot for a beer and nice music. When's the next vinyl night?
Music is very loud. Has a nice list of New York brewed beers.
Great beer selection for such a small place. Outdoor area is nice in the spring/summer.
Good beer selection, dog friendly outdoors, prices for beer a bit high, happy hour could be more generous.
Good beer selection and nice outdoor seating, great to watch the world go by and sip a brew.
Great neighborhood bar to hang out at, but slow service as others have mentioned.
Lovely small pub bar with brews only from New York State.
Good cocktails and outdoor seating. Food is just snack items (chips, pickles, etc)
Psychedelic music instead of low brow rap. No declasse elements. Civility and reservation. Bartender was slow, but whoever is not depressed - cast the first stone. Amen. Adirondack.
Nice little dimly lit triangular bar on the corner right up from the ft ham F/G train station. Snacks are decent, beer and drinks are better!
I love the concept here. Great beer and fun ambiance. They were kid friendly too when we wanted to warm up after sledding with my daughter. My one complaint is that the bar and tables were very sticky. It made me uncomfortable trying to avoid touching anything.
Popped in here on a long day of exploring and immediately loved the chill vibe. The decor is quite lovely, the bar has little nooks and booths for groups of all sizes and the staff is very friendly. Great beer selection, too, so drink outside the box! A full liquor bar if you want something a bit stronger. The food menu is the same as Skylark, minimal but still good enough to keep you there for a few drinks. I had the texas toast grilled cheese and left satisfied, especially since it came with a bag of chips. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Relaxing neighborhood spot with a focus on NY state craft beers on tap. I'm knocking off one star because at this point I think their keg lines are a bit dirty and the price per pint is about $1-$2 more than it should be. Good place to hang before eating at one of the restaurants close by though.
Potent cocktails for takeaway or hanging out in tiny sidewalk seating. Prepandemic it was great for meeting friends in the neighborhood. Quiet corner off the Fort Hamilton stop for great beer list and fun easy cocktails.
Chill & cozy hangout spot for a beer & quiet al fresco seating. Great service & a fine selection of drafts.
Solid local bar, they have food available but nothing over the top. Good selection of drinks and the staff is nice
Good snacks and strong drinks.. very low key vibes .. good neighborhood vibes !!
It has a very cosey atmosphere. However, my spouse and I thought our "night cap" after a first-rate dinner across the street at Le Paddock was met with a bar tender & clientele that was, in the misses words, "stuck up." Granted, weekday near closing time ... not, necessarily, the best time to have a solid first impression of pub, but, as a one who has tended bar at a locals pub in South Beach, Miami, FL there's really no excuse for a place like this to "have airs," or be too "busy" with side-work to have its hospitality compromised due to circumstanc. Will return, though, and update impressions accordingly. Brooklyn, in my little experience on the pub crawl here, seems to be one where locals bars are kind of thing one has to break in like a new shoe for it to get into a stride. An open mind prevails.
Its my neighborhood and I personally know Brendon -one of the owners. The bartenders are nice. But PLEASE once in a while open the door. The place stinks of armpits.
Good selection of beers. Recent bartenders have been pleasant. But please invest some money on new furniture and countertops. They Always seems to have a sticky unclean feel.
The Saint Germain Margarita is exquisite. They'd get 5 stars if only the knew how to pronounce Saint Germain and stopped ignorantly correcting people who know it doesn't rhyme with Paint Terrain. Petty. Yes. But correct.
My second visit was quite different. This quaint bar is steps from Prospect park. A great little spot to grab a drink. However, during my visit, I noticed the place was under staffed. This being said, I wasn't pleased. The over worked bartender, had a hard time handling the crowd, I myself was overwhelmed & I was just standing there.. Maybe next time..
Looks cute from the outside. But just left as it's bartender seemed wasted/hopped up, hanging with friend. Blasting about half a song dialed up to 11, then skipping to the next. She ignored a livn of confused customers who slowly left. It is only 7pm, btw. No thanks.
Music is too loud, too kid friendly at the wrong times, and one bartender definitely wants patrons to know they are really only here to serve their friends and you may want to come back another time when someone else is bartending.
I wouldn’t spend my time in this bar. My boyfriend and I were interrupted during a quiet, private conversation about political logistics and then told loudly to not discuss politics the bar. I will not give my money to a bar that endorses such censorship, and I left feeling disgusted. If we can’t rationally discuss politics in public spaces, what is protecting us from complete groupthink and complacency? Whack
