My first time eating at The Burrito Spot I was very pleased with my meal. Me and my friends were enjoying our conversation and were there till closing and the staff were amazing, they did not rush us out. I will definitely be going back

I was having such a hard day at work And the sweetest service ever I went today @7:20pm She was a pretty skinny girly and literally made my night I love coming here after a long day 💕 100% recommend

Definitely better than chipotle! Food is amazing! The only minor thing is that it needs better ventilation, the restaurant is filled with smoke that’s why iam giving the atmosphere section a two star. That’s not stopping me from coming back.

The restaurant itself looked very empty. Nothing on the walls. No fake trees or plants. But with times like these, make sense to it ads to any monthly expenses such as TV or music. Will be back.

This is one of the few true burrito places in the Rgv. It’s definitely worth the visit. The portion sizes are definitely reasonable and so is the flavor. Also a bonus they have queso fresco.

I honestly had slightly lower expectations since the service was just not it. But today was a different day like no other. One of the employees who just usually is neutral and serious seeming had just had a sudden change. Today as I walked in I was greeted with a hello welcome. Super out of the blue but surprised me as yet I did not expect for this boy to take my order calmly but super effort showing. Two of the other employees tried to chat with him but he told them to give them a minute as he was finishing up. I was surprised because he usually chats with them taking me unserious but today was a different day as he also wished me an amazing day. Everything was amazing. Food is just outstanding but this one particular boy has had a sudden change out of no where. I think the other employees called him Johnathan.. if I'm not wrong because I do have poor hearing. But I honestly cannot be more happier than this young man just becoming a 10/10 example of excellence service. Super sweet and super welcoming. I honestly don't know where this sudden change came from but I love it!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!

better than chipotle for sure! i would def come back and frequent this place. i like that they offer queso fresco and they listen well to how much i wanted! it was a little hard to hear because it was a bit loud but it worked out. my burrito was so yummy. prices are decent for the amount you get!

Last night I pulled up right as it closed. O am so glad I went today. Food is good! I got the burrito for my husband and bowl for myself. We have left overs for dinner! The chips are a topping you definitely need to have. It all goes together. Food was fresh. The customer service was awesome too. They speak to you as you walk in. It’s welcoming. It’s a hidden gem that needs to be exposed. I definitely will recommend.

Food is great. Staff is great. We placed an order to dine in and ended up taking it to go within 5 minutes because it was so hot in there. People want to dine in to get out of the heat and relax, not to burn up. Invest in an AC. Or, fix the one you have because it does not work.

A lot of reviews seem to be complaining about the service but I went here during a lunch rush hour and found the service to be maybe not the friendliest but efficient and friendly enough to grab a burrito to-go. I'm hooked after my first visit as I find it way better than Chipotle and the burrito was the size of my head. While the service and atmosphere aren't the most amazing, I'll be coming back for the food pretty frequently.

I highly recommend this new establishment. The service is good and so is the speed of things. It has a nice open environment and nice lighting. The food is really good too. I couldn’t even finish my burrito. They have bowls and kids menu.

Food and service are great, first time trying it. The only comparable place would be chipotle. Although will say that the ingredients here are fresher. Total recommend 👌🏻

Food is great. Staff is great. We placed an order to dine in and ended up taking it to go within 5 minutes because it was so hot in there. People want to dine in to get out of the heat and relax, not to burn up. Invest in an AC. Or, fix the one you have because it does not work.

First time at these place the food is good but a couple of things that I sall was the service is slow then the girl that took our order did not speak English and lastly when ringing up the order she was getting cash with her gloves on and then grabbing food with the same gloves on she did not change her gloves and continued preparing burritos. Cross contamination and taking to long on the orders

I would put a 5 star review but what makes the food, service and atmosphere low ratings is the fact that they always run out of ingredients halfway through the day. The employees will straight up say they don’t have any and instead of stocking or checking. Worst part is you know they lie because you see they have it in the kitchen or give it to few customers behind you what you asked for.

The make your own burritos are delicious and the place overall looks very clean. But the young lady in the front making the burritos needs to work on her professionalism. She made me feel very uncomfortable with her service. But nonetheless, the burritos were very good.

I believe the manager had to step in and help them take care of customers. Honestly, not sure how or why he even has a job there. I’m more upset about his nonchalant attitude to the rest of the team while the other boy who was cashing me out kept asking him to please not take his break right now. Sad to see. Disappointed in the fact that management lets other members of their team do whatever they want while leaving the weight of a rush to the rest. Honestly, I don’t think i’m coming back simply because the whole interaction was SO uncomfortable and unprofessional to watch. This is coming from someone who is also an industry worker. I don’t know what happened because I had never seen him work here before and I had never had an experience like this at this establishment. Do better for your employees, Burrito Spot 👎🏻

First time here, the food was good. However, customer service was poor. The employee making my bowl had an attitude and was throwing dishes around upset. She seemed to be aggravated and made faces at me when I asked for my toppings. The cashier was nice but the lady preparing the bowl was not. This really left a bad first impression.

Survive is horrible. Everytime i come here it’s always the same two people with the same attitude. With the same nasty faces they give you when you add more into your order and the same aggression they put towards making your food. I ask for small things like a side of sauce to my order and they will roll their eyes or just blank stare at me and move on. Not only is the service horrible but the so is the place. Nothing but flies in here. I will be enjoying my food and see a fly hovering over my food and others. This place sucks and if you see more 1 stars under the reviews believe them. This place is trashy

Went to this place as my first visit today and as me and my friends got in line we got greeted by a girl who was already giving my friend attitude and went back and forth with him over a misunderstanding. It made the experience very tense and awkward and she gave us attitude as we ordered food and asked for topings saying "which one there's two!" With an annoyed look on her face. As i was paying i glance at the fridge behind the counter and see a cockroach on the wall. At that point i just wanted to sit down, eat and leave. Very bad experience overall. Do something about that female worker.

Never will I go back to this place again. They were very rude I was waiting for the guy to ask me what I wanted he didn't ask and put chicken on my bowl he was already at this point putting what he wanted not what I wanted so I just let it pass. I was about to pay with the lady at the cash register when I had remembered that I was also going to order a burrito but forgot because my order wasn't what I wanted so I let the lady know that I was going to add a burrito and she got mad and made face and scoffed. She then told the guy that served me my bowl and he got mad and said " are you freaking kidding me why is she adding a freaking burrito" and he threw the tray he had in his hand to the counter in front of me. I was not at any moment rude or making faces I was just ordering food cause I was in my lunch hour. Very unprofessional if I could I would rate a "0".

The food is delicious but the workers are very dirty. I ordered a burrito and the boy was grabbing his face and hair and then he grabbed the tortilla with the same gloves. I asked for him to change the gloves and he got mad very disgusting

I have a good experience at the burrito spot when the boys are working. Somehow every time this one girl is working my experience is horrible. Second time she gets my order wrong, today I went after work ordering a bowl and when I mentioned I’m getting a bowl she somehow acted rude. She put very little meat on my bowl almost as if she does it on purpose and then I tell her I want mozzarella cheese and she puts queso fresco????? Hello? I’m right in front of u saying mozzarella cheese???? And she noticed her mistake on her own and goes oh I’m sorry? Doesn’t even offer to fix it or anything. Do better with ur employees.
