Posizione davvero incantevole, locale informale e molto intimo con qualità del cibo davvero ottimo. Ma quel che merita davvero è tutto il personale che ringrazio di gran cuore, dimostratosi gentile e soprattutto collaborativo anche in situazioni estreme come il malore improvviso di mia mamma successivamente risolto. Provate i pizzoccheri: spettacolari! Da ripetere sicuramente.

Esperienza bellissima! Ci siamo presentati in quattro per fare una merenda / aperitivo e siamo stati accolti e serviti con professionalità e cortesia in un locale davvero accogliente. Le cameriere sono state gentilissime e disponibili (in particolare, noi siamo stati serviti da Carol e Alessandra). Tutto era ottimo, dai drink al tagliere coi salumi e i formaggi. Torneremo senza dubbio per pranzo o cena, dal menù i piatti sembrano buonissimi. Grazie ancora!

I liked it overall. The pizza was okay, I’d give it a 6.24/10, but the lovely view and decent coffee made it a nice experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re up there.

Wonderful small resteraunt at the top of the funicular up from Como. It's the first one you get to when you get off at the top. Many outside tables, all overlooking the view out over Como. Service is fast and efficient, food very good, pizza's very good, enough to share if you just want a snack or a meal for one if you are more hungry. The funicular is very popular and queues can be long. If possible get tickets from somewhere else then you can just hold up your ticket and go straight to the carriage.

Such a great restaurant in Italy! The atmosphere is super nice, and the staff is really friendly. If you love good pizza, this is the place—they make them in a pizza oven, and they’re just amazing! But it’s not just the pizza, everything is delicious. Honestly, I 100% recommend it. I don’t usually give recommendations, but this one? You can go with your eyes closed!

An absolute magical bistro right by the edge, exponentially better if you find a table seat outside especially during the sunset hours. Food was fantastic, great selection of drinks and not at all that expensive either. Staff were fantastic and attentive. Bravo!

The Taste of all we had was very good. The portions were big and the prices of the secondi plati were better compared to the primi plati. All was delicious. The ribs are more than enough for 2 people.

This might be one of the BEST spots to watch the sun set if you are planning a trip to Brunate! The service is what I would deem to be standard for Italy. They don’t rush you. The food was also great! We tried the cheese board, boar and polenta, Diavolo pizza, boar tagliatelle, and the gelato. I will say the berry gelato was way too sweet for our liking though.

This place offers absolutely breath taking views along with all the food it has to offer. Very easy to recognize, just outside the gate of the Funicular gate in Brunate. During the peak hours that is between 4-7pm one needs to wait in line as they have a very few and limited seats. We were given chips as complimentary titbits to munch with our Apperols. We loved the ambience and the way we were treated. Would definitely recommend!

After a nice tour of Como, when you take the funicular to Brunate, it is right in front of you at the exit of the funicular. We had a good home made wine accompanied by a delicious meal at Capolinea Bistrot. We had a great time,when the friendly faces of the employees were added to this meal. I thank the owner of the restaurant Elena, for her delicious meals and I plan to come here again as soon as possible.

This place surprisingly had one of the best pizzas!! After a hot sunny day, when we got to taste their Hugo spritz.. my god it was soo soothing.. Thanks for that :) And the pizzas were so soft, fluffy topped with good amount of cheese and veggies/Meat.. Not to forget, their view 😍 All in all we had a really nice lunch here!!

We went here on a day trip to Brunate. We waited 15 mins until it opened as thought it looked the perfect spot for lunch with a lovely view of Lake Como below.

Siamo clienti abituali di questo ristorante con una meravigliosa vista su Como😍 I piatti è sempre buoni, i dolci è buonissime, soprattutto il semifredo😋 E la bevanda migliore è ovviamente Chinotto!🍊

Abbiamo cenato in 4 con un tagliere molto gustoso di formaggi e salumi. Abbiamo preso in seguito 2 primi (pizzoccheri) e 2 secondi (involtini di manzo e cinghiale con polenta). Tutto molto buono. Solo un po eccessivo l'uso di olio extravergine nelle pietanze. Vista panoramica spettacolare sul lago di Como e sulla città stessa. Servizio discreto e umile da parte dei camerieri che non capiscono molto l'italiano, essendo stranieri. Il proprietario molto disponibile. Abbiamo aggiunto alla nostra cena una bottiglia di vino e di acqua e abbiamo pagato 110 euro circa. Tutto sommato non è elevato.

Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorantino perché uno dei pochi vicino alla funicolare. È un posto carino dove si può ammirare il panorama sul lago di Como. Il servizio un po' confusionario. Il cameriere non è stato in grado di spiegarci chiaramente la differenza delle dimensioni dei taglieri. Inoltre, appena è arrivato, mi ha anche chiuso il menù mentre lo stavo ancora leggendo. Comunque gli spritz erano buoni e anche il tagliere era composto da affettati e formaggi buoni (non ho fatto la foto visto che è arrivato dopo e ce lo siamo divorati).

Ristorante nel complesso soddisfacente con personale simpaticissimo e divertente che forse fa alzare la qualità del ristorante stesso. Il cibo infatti è leggermente, ripeto SOLO LEGGERMENTE, più caro rispetto ad altri ristoranti simili in provincia con viste mozzafiato anche loro, ma che non si trovano comunque nella rinomata Brunate. Il cibo di per sé è buono, nulla da dire, ma allo stesso tempo nulla di così eccellente. Se dovessi passare da Brunate ritornerei volentieri al Capolinea Bistrot, non penso invece tornerei a Brunate solo per quel ristorante.

In un posto super turistico, le aspettative erano basse. Invece devo dire che la qualità dei piatti era più che accettabile e il servizio veloce. La vista è molto bella, comodissimo con la funicolare.

Amazing location and view with good vibes and service. I had the polenta and sausage which was okay but unfortunately the polenta was very under-seasoned. However, the other dishes my friends had were good. For a restaurant with such an amazing location the menu prices are VERY fair. Would go back.

Ordered pizza and gelato. The pizza was not great, perhaps the ingredients were not as fresh as I expected. The gelato was pretty good. The server was attentive, patient and friendly. This might be the only Gelateria in Brunate.

Located conveniently at the top station of Funicular Brunate , it is a popular joint. Bonus is the top view of Lake como at a lazy street style set up. They have a dine in option as well. They have Italian staples pizza , pasta and sides.Drink options included Campari, Aperol , Lemoncelo and snack to go with. Service is good. Toilet is free when you are customer- plus point. Overall enough space and good feeling.

Un po’ di fretta tutto il personale, abbiamo chiesto di attendere per un tavolo di 2, ci è stato detto che c’erano altre 2 persone in attesa, abbiamo visto che dentro c’era posto. Ci è stato detto che poi non potevamo cambiare il posto andando fuori, il pesce che ho ordinato non aveva sale. Il locale aveva un odore di detersivo purtroppo non correva molta aria.

Panino con prosciutto e formaggio di qualità scadente, peraltro diverso da quello rappresentato sul menù. Prezzo 7 euro, unico sproposito. Qualità turistica, quindi appena sufficiente. Evitate, cercate altro, anche se Brunate oramai è diventata come Como. Meglio un pranzo al sacco. Ciliegina, caffè 2 euro al banco. Figuriamoci.

We got turned away immediately because we only wanted drinks. The waiter was rude and said they only served food, which makes no sense at all.

I’ve never experienced such disrespectful service in a café before. The girl at the counter was unbelievably rude and arrogant when answering even the simplest questions. Her attitude made the whole visit uncomfortable and frustrating. Instead of helping customers, she acted like she was doing us a favor just by talking. Management really needs to take action — this kind of behavior completely ruins the atmosphere. I definitely won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values good service.
