A very positive experience!!! Yesterday I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend somewhat by chance, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent quality food with generous portions. The atmosphere is very clean and quiet, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The prices are excellent for the high quality of the food. Recommended for those who want quality cuisine without too many frills and for those who want to enjoy a meal in complete tranquility.

Where I have several groups of quads and alpine troops such as fans Alpe Duno Varesecdal Gisnni Beltrami last mountain pasture of Varese Recently I have been writing reviews on googlemaps on restaurants mythical places to visit. Today by chance looking for a mountain place with old-fashioned cuisine we found this family-run restaurant husband wife and mother-in-law. The owner as a cook in the kitchen serving at the tables his wife with his mother very incisive despite her years. The owner's wife takes care of creating Her in the kitchen all the desserts are made there ditto the bread and everything you eat is created on site. Today I ate from the mixed cold cuts with cheeses to the polenta with ossobuco to simple side dishes such as tomatoes with onions of sweet custard with lemon zest and slices of fresh fruit. Everything was delicious so much so that after paying the bill I told the owner that I would create this review, I do not add photos of the dishes because I saw that there are many on the reviews, I add other simple shots taken outside and inside: I add that I saw from the posters and from people present that at this activity they organize guided tours for the beautiful paths of this mountain community reality. Very kind and caring family cooking local specialities with great dedication and passion! They harvest veggies and fruits from their own garden and procure animal products from local butchers and/or from hunting. All dishes are exceptional! Check it out and enjoy a great treat in a cozy and caring atmosphere on the top of hills around Lake Lugano!

A quaint place, an intimate, cozy grotto...clean and tidy. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. The food is excellent. Typical cuisine, local appetizers, first courses, and main courses with polenta, etc. Excellent wine, excellent homemade desserts. What can I say? We'll be back. 10 out of 10! N.B. Ristorante accogliente ambiente caldo cucina tradizionale con i prodotti di stagione in questo periodo polenta con lepre, stufati vari, personale molto gentile.

Sembra di stare a casa... Ottimo tagliere di formaggi, buona polenta con merluzzo e cipolle e una torta pere e cioccolato fatta in casa. Vino della casa non all'altezza e mancano bottiglie 0,375 per chi non beve molto ma apprezza la qualità. Locale semplice ma pulito con servizio molto cortese e veloce. Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo

We stumbled upon it by accident and, frankly, we had a great time. The only downside is the parking lot, which is a bit small. It can fit about ten cars, but it's hard to get out once you're in and there's no more space. Friendly service. We'll definitely be back, but it's best to book.

Authentic and good, kind and sincere service, if I have to give a small criticism I would have expected slightly lower prices for the context, a dessert 6/7 euros I find more suitable for a restaurant but for the rest everything is excellent

I found myself in this little trattoria by chance, during a motorbike tour through the valleys and woods of the Varese area. A very welcoming place, furnished entirely in exposed wood, like a cabin. Rich menu from appetizers to desserts, all carefully prepared by them, including bread. Among the various choices we opted for a first course of pappardelle with venison sauce and two plates of tagliatelle speck, artichokes parmesan, dishes of just the right portions, rich in seasoning. We also had the desserts always homemade by them, strawberries with cream, panna cotta, chocolate and pear cake. I highly recommend this place, for the quality, the portions, and above all the prices. Three first courses, three desserts, water, a glass of wine, a coffee €65.00.

Not a cyclist friendly place. We arrived on the bicycles and they made an effort to ‘welcome’ us outside, even before we had a chance to enter inside, to announce us that they are full and then they closed the entrance door in our face. Through the windows it looked like they have many free seats though.
