Always something to do and see,, sora gumi and K-place are my fave stores by far and I always grab a macaroon at sweet box! The events they hold there are entertaining and there's a ton of food places for a variety of options 😌
Nice selection of restaurants for food and desserts. Assortment of variety shops for kpop music, toys, food and clothing. Also has a nice Korean theater. Great way to spend a day , never gets too crowded.
Mall with mostly Asian food and k-pop merch. Fun Korean corn dogs, love the donuts at Old Ferry. Free parking in a huge lot. Check it out next time you’re in the area.
One of my favorite spots, love the food court and you can eat a little bit of everything there. If you want Asian snacks there is a grocery store where you can stock up at. After all the shopping and eating go catch a movie, the seats are old school which sucks but the 3 screen is pretty cool.
Love it here! We drive over an hour to visit and spend the day. Great vibe! Lots of cool shops to check out Skincare places, clothes, coffee shops. So many amazing food spots. They have it all, KBBQ, ramen, hot pot, Italian, Mexican and amazing desserts!! 😋 My daughter's fav are the Kpop shops!
Been here a couple of times at night and during the day. Lot of teens hanging around. There's not a lot of stores to browse around though but still a chill spot to kill time. Theres also at least 2 guards standing around so I guess it's safe. Plenty of parking available too. You can hear kpop music at a distance wherever you go lol. Even saw a group of teens practicing a dance routine at the far corner of the plaza
The Source is amazing!! I love going with my friends and getting ramen and buying k-pop abounds hehe! we love taking photos at the photo booth place! (i forgot name but it's like life four cuts i think) a super generous worked which I think was William offered to cut our mini photo strips and it was perfectly cut! ᵕ̈ a amazing experience, people are so nice here and everything is so aesthetically pleasing!
Connected to the Hilton Buena Park this shopping mall is tri-level with lots of outdoor space. There are many places to dine. Built by and for the Korean population one can learn about the culfure. Retail stores carry Korean clothes, and even claw machines popular in Korean. A fun place to explore and dine.
I love coming here. 1. 3-4 stories of free plentiful covered parking! I consider this area like the OC version of Ktown and love that unlike LA Ktown, parking is free here and easier to get by! 2. So many food options to choose from! There's a food court on the third and second floor, sit down restaurants on the third and first floor, and your choice of desserts and quick eats! 3. A CGV Cinema for your Korean flicks and kpop concerts / screenings. 4. Kpop stores and K-beauty stores 5. D-Festa on the third floor, which I heard will have a spot here permanently with interactive kpop activities, exhibit, etc. I have fond memories of coming here during their infancy when some of the shops here were hosting BTS cupsleeve events. Happy to see more stores and vendors filling up the plaza here and making this place a location where you can easily spend a good portion of the day here! And depending on the weekend, there's usually community groups hosting events on the main level or dance groups doing dance practice or even giveaways with K-brands. Never a dull time here!
It's a TESLA convention out here!! All jokes aside, the place is very well kept and guarded by security guards. There are 2 main food courts with an ample selection. The snack store has some solid items from South Korea. The rest of the shops are K-POP focused. 3 main floors with the parking lot built around the mall. Great architecture and planning which makes it extremely convenient to visit.
The Source OC is our go-to destination for family outings! We love bringing our kids to the indoor playground—it's safe, clean, and keeps them entertained for hours. The center is filled with a great mix of Asian-themed shops and restaurants, offering something new to explore every time. Plus, it even has a cinema, which is perfect for date nights or family movie days. With plenty of secure parking, it’s a convenient and enjoyable spot for both parents and kids. A true 5-star experience all around!
The Source OC, commonly called Source mall, is a 3-story building with a variety of stores, restaurants, CGV movie theater, and other fun things to do. There is a large event hall on the 1st floor where concerts and events are held, and many K-POP related events are held due to the Korean Wave. There are also stores selling K-POP related products. On the 2nd floor, there is a large convenience store called Seoul Stop that recently opened, where you can buy the latest popular Korean products and eat Hangang Ramen, which is popular in Korea. Right next to the entrance of Seoul Stop is a Photo Spot that is a replica of Apgujeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. On the 3rd floor, there is a CGV movie theater (currently under construction), where you can watch the latest Korean movies, making you feel like you are watching a movie in a Korean movie theater. The Source OC also has ample parking space, which is an advantage.
This place is my home away from home, if you are a K-pop or K-Drama LOVER this is the place to go, they have every Korean food, every Korean pop store and they have a place where Adults pay $5 and kids are $25 for a all day indoor play plus arcade plus restaurant it’s a win win. I recommend this place 1000 times over, and you can also take dance classes at the K-pop center where you can do auditions as well as break out dances outside on stage it’s a wonderful place that I will visit till I’m old and gray. Enjoy!
Even though mall felt so empty on a Tuesday during the day, I really liked it. Wish they would finish fixing up the construction/updates going on. 3 story outdoor mall. Movie theater and restaurants on the top. Stage in the center on the first floor. Free parking in the parking structure. All Asian businesses except for 1 Mexican restaurant on top:) We enjoyed walking the whole thing. The desserts were my favorite.
As a Latina who appreciates Korean culture, The Source is definitely a spot to visit if you want to immerse yourself in it. \n\nThe free, spacious parking structure is a huge plus. There's so much to…
Cute place with potential. Plenty of hits and misses. Check individual businesses for ratings and reviews. Gets pretty crowded on weekends, and especially when there are special events going on, so parking and traffic jn the garage can get a lil nuts.
This a nice outdoor mall. Clean and with plenty of parking. It has a good number of mostly Korean restaurants and shops. As well as a movie theater that plays Korean films alongside American blockbusters. While it says the mall closes early, many of the businesses are still open, and the parking is still accessible
My first time visiting here after having dinner at Izakaya Ichie. Parking is free! I never knew this plaza existed. Lots Korean store and culture here. If you like Kpop, Korean stuff, this is the pla…
My daughter is into kpop, so she loves this place. IMO this is a poorly designed mall and what makes it worst is there is very little signage to tell you anything about the mall. We never found a dir…
The Source!!! What an awesome name for a shopping mall!! Seriously, with a name like that, folks should come here looking for the source of whatever they are searching for! I like it!! The Source…
I love The Source OC. I love the idea of exploring and getting to know Korean culture through this mall. This is a great spot for families but specially for pre-teens and teens that love K-pop culture. 😄 I love the Korean stores where you can buy lots of cute and cool little things to eat, wear and why not little gifts. I love the Korean snacks, I like to go and try different ones each time I visit. Parking can be difficult during busy hours but I try to go during day time hours during the week. I don’t dare weekens though.😁 I love my space to walk around and don’t wait on long lines. The coffee/dessert are issuer nice and smells delicious, they roast their own coffee. Lots of yummy desserts and if you work from your computer or want to study this is a great place. Lots of sitting areas andI think they have a meeting room. I have to go back and do more research on this. Street style Korean food is great. I dislike very much the food court though.People working there are not that friendly or helpful. Food is pretty pricey and not the best to my taste. Some of the stores I think sell overprice merchandise. Specially K-Pop merch. People working at the stores are super nice and friendly. I am giving 3 stars for the overprice food that is not that tasty and not friendly people in that area. -Would I go back to The Source OC? YES! 😉👍🏼 -Wouls I recommend it to other people? YES!😊👍🏼
We attended a birthday party at the Karaoke bar and we had time to walk around the mall. I was looking for a fast food restaurant to eat at and there was no map in sight to guide us around the area. …
This is a nice place with a theater, lot of Korean stores and a lot of good food options. The stores however lack diversity. I wish there were more department stores to shop at. Also the design of t…
First time here. Many places were out of business or closed (we went on a Saturday afternoon). Had a lackluster Korean BBQ lunch on the 3rd floor. Mostly mediocre food places (tea shops, restaurants, dessert, food courts) with minimal other stores. If you want Korean food there are better places. We can say we went, but won't return.
Ive been shopping and purchasing meals here for years. I use to love it here; but there is a rude security guard that kicked us out for having a conversation in the car. I didn't know there was a time limit for conversations in a empty parking lot. 😕
Love this place. However, maybe it’s time to find another security company. Absolutely unprofessional. I was verbally assaulted today because I was just trying to understand the security guard’s request. And management isn’t getting back to me. If anyone knows which security company that works here please let me know. I understand that the mall is a private mall, but security guards should still be held to a higher standard of conduct than this. The security reflects poorly on the mall especially when you out them out front in the entrance.
Was browsing some shops and noticed my phone was low battery and went to the food court to charge it so I can call a Uber home but the ajumma from the far right restaurant(Food Source) started cursing me out for using the outlet at the seating area where it was practically empty and I just needed it for a short while to have a way to get home. I explained and asked if there is another place I could go to if not there and she started being nasty to me cursing me out and saying I'm going into her house and using her electricity (mind you the food court is in open seating area) I later went to Ding tea where the staff was polite and helpful. Although not everywhere is like this there but be prepared to encounter nasty attitude even in a public space, because some people can't help but ruin other people's day. No wonder they have 2 stars lmaooooo, from their reviews complains it's unsanitary silverware, over priced, poor food quality. No wonder her cheapskate personality is showing as a failing business.

Unlocking Buena Park's Korean Gem: The Source OC Experience
You know, sometimes the best local spots are the ones you just stumble upon, or hear about from a friend who’s always in the know. That’s exactly how I feel about The Source OC in Buena Park. Tucked away, it’s a vibrant plaza that truly feels like a little slice of Korea right here in Orange County. My first tip? Don't even think about the parking. Seriously, it's a dream! There's a huge, free parking structure that's incredibly spacious. This alone is a massive win in our crowded urban lands
