The food was outstanding, truly delicious, and the service from the waitstaff was excellent—very attentive and kind at all times. However, I would like to offer an important recommendation: I believe the manager should show more tact, professionalism, and respect when correcting or addressing the staff. The arrogant and dismissive way in which it was done during my visit was quite uncomfortable for guests who simply want to enjoy a pleasant and peaceful dining experience. Last night, during the Thanksgiving dinner, I felt really uncomfortable because of that situation. Nevertheless, I truly appreciate the service and attention provided by the waitstaff. Thank you very much.

OUTSTANDINGLY delicious. EXCELLENT service. WORTHY. We’ll be back! We are now Family. From the moment we walked in the managers warm handshake set the tone for what would be one of the best meals I’ve had in the NYC! (And I’m a native New Yorker.) From the Ossobuco to the lobster bisque stew, skirt steak w/ Lobster tail, to olive tapenade to dessert warm banana bread pudding to the craft drinks (esp. the Guava Basil Margarita) and the excellent service from Camila —.our meal was beyond five star!!!

Buena Vista Restaurant and Bar offers cozy, comfortable seating with beautifully designed brick walls and decorative accents. The staff was attentive and gave us excellent recommendations from their wonderful menu. Isabella, our server, was especially helpful and friendly. The food was exquisite—from the drinks to the appetizers and dinner. For starters, we had the tuna and mussels, both full of flavor. We truly enjoyed the sea bass and the salmon; each dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. We will be back.

Very cozy atmosphere along with amazing & friendly staff! We had the turnovers (empanadas) & octopus as starters & ribeye & skirt steak for entrees — every bite was exceptional. I especially loved the chimichurri sauce for the steaks! Will visit again for the great service & food! I ate before my phone could 🙈

The food was excellent. Tasty and not overwhelmingly flavorful --- worked well for me. Nice presentation was a bonus. Note that tip (though I didn't look at the percentage) was already included in the check even for only two people. And then the machine provided suggestions for 3%, 5%, and 7% additional tip. I didn't have an issue with that -- just an fyi.

One of the best restaurant experiences! Our waitress, Micaela, was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious; my lobster ravioli was wonderful, as were the cocktails, appetizers, and dessert. They have a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The manager was also very kind. I recommend going, and if you go, ask for Micaela as your waitress; you won't regret it. We will definitely return!

Dinner was delicious, service was attentive and friendly. Our server, Micah was great! We started with the Tamal and hanger cured pork tenderloin with the sunny side quail egg. Both were delicious, the hanger cured pork was unique. For our entrees, the duck was perfectly cooked as suggested by the chef. The skirt steak was very tender, nice portion. Cute place, definitely will come back to try other dishes on the menu.

The restaurant is in a small space, but the atmosphere, service, drinks and food were all top notch. I recommend making a reservation to ensure that you can be seated when you arrive. From appetizers, to entrees and desserts everything was absolutely delicious. We sampled their bread pudding, flan and tres leches and while you can't go wrong with any of them, the flan stands out above the others. Will definitely be returning again.

Great service, our waiter was very attentive, had a great personality and made us feel welcome and not rushed. The food was delicious - good portions, tasteful and fresh. The dessert was also made in house and you can taste the freshness. All three were great, but highly recommend the flan.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Let’s start with the service:A1. Friendly, attentive, and great recommendations. Our server gave excellent recommendations from drinks to dessert. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was amazing! My friends ordered the pork chop and the stuff grilled chicken (it’s stuffed in circular pieces of chicken) and also cleaned their plates like I did. No crumbs left. The place does have limited seating so would recommend making a reservation if you can BUT may not be needed depending on timing. We came after a show and it wasn’t crowded….at first. If you’re going to see Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway, this is a great complement!

The is an intimate dining experience in a cozy exposed brick setting. Buena Vista is the perfect restaurant for date night. With Latin American dishes and exceptional cocktails, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I recommend the seared duck and sea bass for entrees. Portions are generous and service is attentive. Don’t forget to order some cocktails or wine!

Outstanding restaurant and amazing value! We had the octopus, paella, and a surf and turf special with hanger steak and lobster. We were blown away by the food quality, flavor, and generous portion sizes. Service was courteous and friendly. Didn't even need a reservation - don't sleep on Buena Vista! You won't regret it!

Waiter spilt water 2-3x on our table lamp putting it out. He cut me off when ordering. My wine glass was very small serving, the manager was nice and gave free serving to compensate. Then we asked for dessert ordering 2. They ran out of coffee and cappuccino, and charged for 4 desserts. The food and ambiance were very good, but I don’t trust the service, maybe just a bad day.
