One of our favorite things to grab while at the farmers market! Their knishes are delicious and we usually grab a few to have while walking through the market. These were the hot noodles flavor that they don't make often and boy were they good. The owners are always super friendly and fun to talk with too! If you get a chance definitely got to try them! Also sorry for the missing bite in the picture but they are just too dang good and couldn't wait!
There are some really big things happening in the Buffalo food scene at 27 Chandler St. Bloom and rose is a really solid spot in a building with many other awesome kitchens and businesses. Stopped in a few weeks ago for some knishes, which I had never tried. Loved all the more traditional flavors and appreciated taking some chances on flavors like Asian street noodle. Came back recently and had the Reuben, which was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Would highly recommend giving this place a go, along with all the other businesses at Chandler Street. 4.7/5-BJ
I've only had 2 knishes from here but WOW do I want to try more. The Samosa is flavored fantastically and the traditional is... traditional. I would recommend them to everyone. You can tell a lot of love and heart goes into hand making each one. 2 thumbs way up.

I was never a huge knish fan, didn't dislike them, just didn't care much either way. I've had many at many places, but I always found them dry and lacking flavor and loaded them up with lots of mustard to make up for that. For the last few years I've been grabbing knishes from Bloom and Rose every time I spot them in the wild. I have tried many flavors, including dessert options, and nothing has failed to exceed my expectations. My thoughts about knishes have completely changed because of this company. Every single one is packed full of flavor and very moist. I was very excited to see Bloom and Rose on UberEATS and grabbed a meal from them for lunch today. I had the Reuben with corned beef. I expected the sandwich to be good, but it was great. Huge bonus, no stretching and tearing at your corned beef like you do in most regular delis, it's chopped up in a way that it is so easy to eat, tender and flavorful. Homemade dressing was very good, but not overpowering, same with the sauerkraut. Even the pickle was outstanding. I was a little hesitant to order the crab rangoon knish, thinking it might be full of cream cheese and overwhelming. It was not, it was cheesy, creamy and had more crab flavor than a normal Rangoon. I absolutely can't wait to keep supporting this business and feel confident I'll never need mustard on another knish, as long as they are still making them.
We only tried the knish but can’t wait to go back and have more. Amazing bold unique flavors. They know what they’re doing.
Excellent Jewish-owned business with a very friendly owner and staff. While their menu isn't entirely kosher, they're making efforts to introduce more kosher options. Great job, and we appreciate the effort! The Matzo ball soup is absolutely amazing, and their sandwiches and smoked meat are outstanding - definitely a must-try!
This is the best Reuben in the city. The pastrami is rich and smoky and the Swiss cheese melts into every bite. With dressing and crisp, buttery rye bread holding it all together, it’s the kind of sandwich that keeps you coming back. Total comfort, done right.
Delicious! Super friendly knowledgeable staff very passionate about what they do and the recipes. Have taken a class in knish-making and really enjoyed it love the personal connection and small class size. The matzo ball soup the pastrami and smoked egg salad are weekly favorites and the variety of knish from traditional to Mexican street corn to crab Rangoon other reasons we have been hooked for years and suggest everyone to make this place a regular destination.
Literally some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Soup is very good too!
I ordered doordash from Bloom and Rose about 45min before it opened. The Rachel with smoked beets, French onion soup and jalapeño popper. Everything was great. The Smoked beets on the Rachel was amazing. Definitely a comfort food. Will order from here again.
The corned beef Hash is the best breakfast item I've ever had!!!
I’ve had every single sandwich and kinish on the menu and this place makes the best sandwiches in the city of buffalo by far. Absolutely fantastic across the board; you can’t go wrong with any item they serve
I’ve had Bloom & Rose via catering before, but decided to stop in with my partner for a sandwich. The gentleman who was working the front desk was an absolute delight, talked us through the menu, and even gave us a toffee crunch cookie to try. It was my partners birthday so that was such a nice little surprise. The cookie was phenomenal. The sandwiches were delicious, as well as the soup. 10/10 will be back :)
Some of the best food I have ever eaten! As someone who is transitioning from meat-eating to a vegetarian diet, the pastrami-flavored beets as a substitute for meat is simply one of the most creative, brilliant, and delicious ideas and foods I have ever encountered. The vegetarian knishes are also sumptuous. I highly highly recommend these dishes to anyone, as it's some of the best food I have ever eaten. I would take genuinely good, simple, and delicious food like this cooked by awesome people over Michelin starred restaurants. JB and the staff are some of the kindest, welcoming, and coolest people I have encountered in Buffalo, and always happy to answer any questions with great detail, expertise, and love. I cannot thank the team enough for the food and service, especially for having vegetarian food that is super high-quality and beyond delicious which is often difficult to find in this city. My complete hats off and unconditional love and gratitude for the food and service!
We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Bloom & Rose Deli. My daughter arranged for delivery on Thanksgiving day and it was more than enough food for 4 of us. The turkey was sliced and included dark meat. The stuffing had pastrami mixed in, potatoes and yams were delicious and the green beans were very good. The turkey gravy was very tasty, much better than store bought or what I could create. The dessert was Bread Pudding with milk caramel sauce that completed an excellent meal. Thank you Bloom & Rose for being available on Thanksgiving and cooking a great meal for us lazy chefs! We highly recommend their food!
Along with great pastrami and egg salad sandwiches, the wonderfully delicious knish, and the amazing French onion soup, they provided excellent customer service. With a peanut, tree nut, and sesame allergy, they were very mindful to keep the soup prepared and packaged separate from the items containing sesame. Would definitely recommend and excited to get again. Thanks!!
Their food may have cured Covid! Both times I have had Covid, I have received knishes and matzoh ball soup. Both times I’ve been cured. Coincidence? Possibly. Miracle? Likely. Delicious? Absolutely!
I was looking for a couple sandwiches yesterday and found these guys on Maps. Pastrami sounded good so I grabbed a couple to go have lunch with a friend and we both agreed that it's hands-down the best pastrami sandwich we've ever had. The flavor and texture of everything was perfection. It's in an odd spot on the 2nd floor of an old industrial building, but that's becoming a thing in Buffalo. There's plenty of outdoor seating on ground level if you want to enjoy it there, or just take it to go. I will 1000% be back.
If you want authentic as described food hit Bloom and Rose. The Buffalo style Matzoh ball soup is absolutely crazy good. These guys are a direct ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed our food, the staff was very friendly and informative. It was my first time eating knishes and matza ball soup, yum! . We shared primal pastrami and rueben sandwiches, and both were fantastic. Would love for you to open a restaurant in Myrtle Beach S.C. Highly recommend 👌.

I've never heard of knishes before yesterday when I had a traditional one ($4). The owner gave a good explanation of them and though I forgot to take a picture it was a really good. You'll have to look it up to get a better sense of what they are. I also got some of the smoked egg salad ($5 for 8oz). That was just okay. I seasoned it up a bit when I got home to my taste preference.
