Great country bar. Good music, entertainment, service, food and drinks. Worth checking out, has outdoor seating in the back with heaters. Has a huge dance floor and lots of seating. Pool, darts and Cornhole. Hosts a variety of events while sticking to a country vibe.

Excellent love the people there. We try to go every Friday, but i had surgery one month ago but suffered for 3 months before i had surgery. And we went there 12-18-20 and i needed help to the ladies room and OMG this kind lady just came to help me. And asked my husband for my wheelchair so she could take it into the ladies room and help. Thank you so much we love going there. And there was also waitress and a nurse that helped.

Hoots is a great live music venue with a huge dance floor! The staff is always so courteous and friendly to the bands! They recently upgraded their sound system and went to non-smoking and have really made a great place even greater with the new integrations! As the band, we love playing there, and thank you so much to everyone there for making it one of our favorite places to play!

This was the first time I've been here in years and only went because a friend suggested it. I, initially, went elsewhere and didn't get the right vibe, so I turned around and went to Hoots. I'm so glad I did. I had a blast. The dance floor is big, and the people are phenomenal. I danced my butt off and had a blast.

We were in Burleson for the weekend, I had read about this place, so we brought our boots. It is everything you could ask for a country music dance hall! Thank you, Marley, for keeping up with us as we moved from pool tables to back deck for tacos, and then back inside for dancing. You kept bringing us nice cold beer and White Claws. We will be back! And the band Party Hardy was great too! I hope this place continues for many years. Great people.

Our first time there was this past Saturday night. Great atmosphere and friendly people. The things I noticed which are important to us were the entry fee with a band playing was only $10 a person. I don't know if theirs a different price depending on the band playing but the band that night was Outstanding! The DJ played great music as well and the drink prices were great! Those few things, driving from Plano made it worth it for us. Also, NON-Smoking inside, a major plus! We will defiantly be back!

We celebrated my boyfriend’s 50th birthday at Hoots and it could not have been a better experience. We had a big group of friends and family, and the atmosphere was electric in the best way. Fun, welcoming, and full of great energy from the start. Renee was friendly and made us feel at home! Courtney, Tiffany, Heather, and Matt were absolute rockstars. They didn’t just “serve” us, they genuinely took care of us. Attentive, upbeat, and always one step ahead, making sure drinks were full, everyone was happy, and our group felt like VIPs all night. The service was seamless and personal, which made the celebration even more special. Between dancing, playing pool, laughing nonstop, and enjoying the amazing band, the whole night felt effortless. The taco food truck was delicious and such a fun touch. Hoots delivered on every level. Incredible staff, fantastic vibe, and top tier service. We’ll absolutely be back.

Came in on a Tuesday and there was cornhole and darts going on which was super cool. I sat at the bar and ordered from heather. So grateful for the service I received from her that night. She was very accommodating in providing answers to what was happening at the bar, drink specials, banter, and even asking how I was doing in general as a person. Couldn’t have asked for better service and it was refreshing. 10/10 will be coming back when Heather is working!

Im from North Western Ontario Canada. Friends local to the area decided to give me The "Texas Experience" during my visit. I was treated quite nicely and enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff especially were good about the darts.

I was sitting by the bar on Saturday night. I had a blast honestly. But one the owners I guess fired one of the girls on the spot. I have been in here a few times and was honestly so shocked at what I heard. My experience so far has been a plus, but seeing how the manager handled that was bad...I'm spending my money for a place that values their employees and staff overall. That lady with blond hair was so unprofessional. Cussing her employee out right by our table. The girl was so good and took great care of us I didn't understand why her employer was firing her in front of everyone. Honestly we left and went to a place called Sam's when we saw that. I don’t think we will be back if thats the leadership here.

Great place, if you're just wanting to hang out, or dance. The atmosphere is very lively no matter the time you decide to go. They have live bands on the weekends that are 80% good all the time.

Nice venue, especially if you like to smoke. If you don’t, it washes out in the washer. Good people who like to have fun and not get too rowdy, especially with the nice management, staff, and bouncers. Great DJ and live music too. Not a hole in the wall kinda place, but what’s wrong with a hole in the wall? It’s a window to see a different view and people in life. Who likes life? Ask the Creator!

Nice place and not that highly priced normal bar. Live music and everyone was pretty friendly, with exception to one bar tender / server. This was my 3rd time here, and I enjoyed meeting up with some friends.

Karaoke, happy hour, it's a great place to be but to me? I like the smaller nightclubs I don't like the huge ones or I should say I'm not a fan but when I was there and I was only there one time I was waiting on immediately and I can honestly say being a former bartender LOL that they did not short the drinks and they did not overcharge as some places do try to get away with doing I highly recommend this place :-)

New owner and he seems to be doing all the right things. he doesn't own the building, only the business, so there's only so much he can do. They have a new dance floor, new tables and a much better ladies restroom. The men's room is very unique. It's still really smokey in there, but he's working on that. They had a great band Sat nite, Austin English and his crew were entertaining. Reasonable prices.

This place is a hidden gem. The only reason I have to give it three stars is because smoking is allowed there. That was really unfortunate. But for the short time I was there the service was great and the atmosphere was amazing.

My husband and I came in early afternoon to reserve a table for the February 9th show with Hollow Point for my birthday. I have never been in this establishment before. The female bartender was great helping us out and very friendly. I will adjust stars after the show.

Karaoke was ok. But it was better when they had Tony there. Our waitress was good. Bathrooms were much better tham before. But just not the way i remember it. Wont go back again.

Was there Halloween night. Big crowd. Met a lot of nice people. My first visit to the place. Love the layout, lighting, big dance floor, and peripherals (pool, TVs, slots, games). Staff was super friendly, professional, and efficient. Ample parking also a plus. Three entertainers on the roster for the night .. all very good. HOWEVER, the entertainers were local and played mostly their own compositions. For the entire night, there were never more than 4 couples on the dance floor, until the live entertainment stopped and the REAL country music came on. That was during the band changes between 1 & 2 and 2 & 3. I was advised that there are new owners. I’m all for giving the local talent their chances to perform. But as a guy who loves the country music nightlife, if you have a good sized country venue with the setup like Hoot’s, and you have a headliner who can’t fill the dance floor, then you need to change your strategy. Have the locals during the week. But you gotta’ bring the cover bands in for the weekend. This place is perfect for good cover bands. I want to go back. But there are too many places out there that bring the gas on the weekends, rather than sit around critiquing the local talent.

Not a bad place to grab a beer. If you're going to play pool maybe pass. New pool tables are super cheap and so close together that you spend more time waiting for other people to shoot and move out of your way than you do actually playing pool.

**Totally different now. They won't let you sit at bar. Who does that if you are a bar. The bartender said well we don't like being crowded. Well frickin don't be a bartender. Hahaha ridiculous. I paid 6. Dollars to get in to be told I have to sit at a table by myself. What happened to cold Beer and conversation? If you like a nice people, great service, a big dance floor to country dance then this is the place for you.

Went Saturday night November 3rd. Band was ok at best. If the dance floor is empty, sometimes wrong. The dance floor was empty all night. No way would I ever pay a cover to see this band again. But I was never a skinnard fan to begin with. Only reason we went we thought they had karaoke on Saturday nights. And driving 1187 at night sucks balls. Wife says this review is too hard on Hoots because of the band. , she said to write.... can't wait to try this place again when there is a country DJ or karaoke . The dance floor looks amazing, can't wait to try it out with some good country music.

It has now become overpriced!! Been coming here for a long time but since they wanted to redo everything they have definitely passed on the cost to all of the patrons that try to come in. Need to find a new watering hole and dance floor. Guitars and Cadillacs is a little bit further but reasonable.

staff has changed a lot since one staff member left (around a month ago or so) they need to get there workers in check. watching tv and not paying attention to guests, having very bad attitudes towards guests, etc. i would love to tell u the name of the person but i will respect privacy. she is the main problem but all staff is kind of stingy now!

All was pretty good until I left. I was waiting outside for my uber and the county sheriffs showed up and was harassing me. Asking for my ID and all that. I told them no. My Uber showed up (which they made me prove to them via my phone I was waiting on one) won't be going back now.

The only reason I gave one star is because we have history here. There is a new owner and changes. Some are good changes like bigger women's bathrooms and more room in the pool table area but we will not go back. No one waited on us all night. Before the band started, the "co" owner thought it would be fun to play a 15 minute orchestra version of the Lone Ranger song! Said he likes to antagonize people with it! Not cool! The rest of the night was full of retro type music. He clearly wants to dismiss the older crowd and try to adhere to a much younger group. Poor Junior, the previous owner would be mortified! Some changes are good but this place is not going in the right direction! Left very sad.

I'm truly disappointed. I would love to give them 5 stars. I actually would have until we realized the waitress charged our card $15 for a $5 beer and $7.50 cash for the same brand beer. We know they normally charge $5 because one in between those two and everyone after that was $5. They had a live band which, from a musician's ear, was having an off night.

1st time there was last night. Band was ok at best(travelling band, not a house band). Drink prices were good. I liked the dance floor and the set up of the rest of the bar, but this place is for heavy smokers. There is no ventilation! The smoke just hangs in there. Overall, a better band would've helped, but until they can vent the smoke or make it non-smoking, we won't be going back.

I used to love this bar. It was our go-to spot on a Saturday night for a bucket of beer, dancing, and just hanging out. However, since the change in management, everything has gone downhill. While I appreciated the transition to a non-smoking facility, the place is now constantly overcrowded. It takes forever to get a beer and there's hardly any seating available. They turn on the lights way too early before closing, and parking has become a nightmare too. To top it off, my favorite bartender left, and the new staff seem overwhelmed and have bad attitudes. It's sad to see the place I enjoyed so much turn into this chaotic mess. I want to see my hometown bar succeed, but the recent changes have made it the opposite of what it used to be. I miss the old Hoots.

I went in 1 week and the bartenders steal money from you. I bought 3 drinks on my card. that cost 8.00 a piece which is 24 with say 28 and I tip cash 20 right off top with my first drink. I check my bank account the next day they took 50 from me when it should been 28.. that is sad the bartender doing that

Bought tickets to see Don Louis on valentines day. One of mine and my husband's favorite singers!! There was 2 parties there that night and all the tables reserved. So disappointed because only 3 two top tables in the pool area and too much comotion going on to enjoy ourselves. I wish I hadn't spent the 40+$ on the tickets. So very disappointed.
