Un must en Los Cabos, ya sea para desayuno o cena. Atención inmejorable de todo el personal desde que bajas de tu coche. La combinación del lugar, servicio, ambiente y menú 1000% recomendado.
La Pesca del día a la talla es deliciosa y el guacamole con pulpo. El queso con chorizo y langosta es muy rico sólo si te gustan los quesos fuertes. Las porciones son de muy buen tamaño. Puedes llegar en Uber y para el regreso el restaurante te puede conseguir taxi porque está alejado y el servicio de Uber ya no está disponible, así que lleva efectivo (más o menos el mismo monto que te indicó la aplicación en la ida).
Una verdadera Joya en Los Cabos! Llegamos sin saber que el restaurante cerraba 2pm y abrían nuevamente a las 5pm, sin embargo nos recibieron, nos atendieron sin ninguna prisa, nos agasajaron con un pan de la casa con distintos acompañamientos e incluso con un postre por ser mi cumpleaños.. Los 3 platos que probamos estaban deliciosos. La vista que tienen es única. Un lugar exclusivo, alejado del ruido y la gente, con vistas insuperables, personal increíblemente amable y con vocación. Para nada caro en relación al servicio que recibes. Espero volver pronto a los Cabos, solo por repetir una comida en este lugar. Gracias especiales a Luis que hizo de nuestro rato, una mega experiencia. Tienen el éxito asegurado.
De las mejores cenas en todo Cabo San Lucas. La cocina es excelente y cada platillo superó nuestras expectativas. Comenzamos con el queso brie como entrada; después probamos los camarones con huitlacoche, la hamburguesa acompañada de papas trufadas y, para cerrar, el corn cake de postre. Todo estuvo simplemente delicioso. La atención fue muy buena, el servicio es atento y amable, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Definitivamente volveremos. Recomiendo hacer reservación para asegurar lugar en la terraza, ya que la vista es hermosa. Además, cuentan con un área de lounge bar con fogata, ideal para pasar después de la cena y seguir disfrutando la noche.

Torote una joya en el sur de Baja California!!! Buscando siempre los mejores restaurantes, encontramos Torote, una joya escondida a las afueras de Cabo. Desde que cruzas la entrada, algo cambia… es como si entraras a otro mundo. Todo está cuidado al detalle, con una estética tan perfecta y única que parece un set de película, pero con una calidez que sabes que es real. Y cuando entras al restaurante, simplemente te quedas sin palabras. El lugar tiene una energía difícil de describir: natural, mágica, envolvente. Hay algo en el ambiente que se siente, algo que no se puede explicar con palabras. La comida es otro nivel. Cada plato es una experiencia para el paladar y el alma, elaborado con los mejores ingredientes frescos, muchos cosechados ahí mismo en su huerto, lo que le da un sabor auténtico y lleno de vida. Cada bocado sorprende, emociona, y deja una huella que no se olvida. Torote no es solo un restaurante, es una experiencia que se vive con todos los sentidos. El chef Víctor Garrido preparó una deliciosa cena, que pudimos degustar con una especial selección de vinos. Llegar a este lugar es todo una experiencia en Cabo San Lucas, tiene una vista increíble a la bahía y ciudad. Imperdible ✨
El lugar es agradable y se come rico, el personal en nuestra experiencia fué muy amable, vale la pena visitar, el único pero es la ubicación, que sí bien goza de una excelente vista, el camino si están medio feo. Los precios pues igual que todo en Cabo.
Fuimos por primera a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposo, y la verdad quedamos muy encantados, un lugar muy lindo para ir con tu pareja o amigos a pasar un momento lindo, tanto la comida y el trato son de 10 la verdad todo estuvo exquisito. Esperamos ir pronto 🍸 Tiene un paisaje y ambiente muy hermoso, como consejo deberían ir cuando está empezando atardecer se puede apreciar mucho mejor el paisaje. atardecer 🌇
El lugar es espectacular, tiene una vista increíble al mar que transmite muchísima paz. La comida es deliciosa, la combinación de sabores crea una experiencia gastronómica única. Y la atención es muy buena, los meseros son muy atentos. Merece la pena visitar este lugar
Un restaurante único, con una vista espectacular, especialmente en los atardeceres. Fuimos a festejar el cumpleaños de mi hija y fue un buena elección de lugar. La comida es muy rica al igual que los cocteles. Considero que los precios son elevados comparados con las porciones de los platillos, pero vale la pena probar. Personal fue atento y amable. El acceso es por camino de terracería y puede ser un poco difícil el acceso. Recomiendo hagan su reservación con anticipación ya que es muy solicitado. Los domingo tienen brunch y se ve que está delicioso. También cuentan con una granja con varios animales. Muy recomendado.
Amamos el lugar! La comida muy rica, el servicio excelente! Los precios son muy accesibles, calidad y precio van de la mano. La señorita que nos atendió siempre muy amable, nos dijo que podíamos darle de comer a los animales que tienen ahí y la pasamos genial. Sin duda alguna regresaremos. La vista es hermosa! Es fácil llegar con Google Maps.

Todo la experiencia es de 10, el servicio por parte de los chicos que trabajan ahí es fenomenal, nos atendío Vanesa y fue super linda. La comida está riquísima, en especial el pan francés.

Lugar Hermoso, retirado, discreto y romántico para una rica cena. Desde la llegada la amabilidad es lo primero que se hace notar. Ofrecen desde desayunos hasta servicio de cenas. Fuimos a celebrar nuestra cena navideña y sin dudarlo puedo decir que el servicio fue muy personalizado. Tiene una terraza hermosa digna de fotografíar, cuánta con alberca y las vistas son hermosas para ver el atardecer desde las alturas de cabo. Sin duda regresaremos a desayunar. Los recomiendo.
Restaurante enclavado en la parte aún rústica del Tezal, el cual es una muy buena opción para una cena romántica o para ir con amigos y/o familia. Los precios no son muy accesibles, por lo que hay que ir con la idea de que el consumo será más de lo que regularmente se paga en otros establecimientos. Recomendado por la hermosa vista y el atardecer que se puede apreciar.
Increíble lugar para desayunar! Atmósfera agradable y natural, comida y bebidas deliciosas. La vista hacia el arco de Cabo San Lucas maravilloso. Y si llevan niños puedes darle de comer a los animales que allí tienen.
Wow, el mejor brunch en cabos, sin duda! Digno de un Michelin ⭐️ Atención muy buena, te explican todo el menú y las porciones son grandes y buenas para compartir, el sabor es delicioso, te explican a detalle de que trata, y la vista es increíble. Además que cuentan como con una granja que puedes alimentar a los animales! Al igual que un lindo patio. Mi único problema es que si vas en Uber no puedes tener acceso a la aplicación ya en el lugar, pero el personal del restaurant lo resuelve y te buscan un taxi, problema resuelto :) (lleva cash por si las dudas)

A veces es complicado para salir de la Rutina, pero me encontré con el Torote gracias a una recomendación, en mi trabajo tengo que valorar lugares todo el tiempo para todo tipo de clientes incluyendo celebridades, sobre todo la calidad de los alimentos, su frescura, sabores y aromas, pero lo más importante es el servicio y la interacción que tienen los anfitriones con el comensal, en definitiva, el Torote es un excelente lugar y no dudaré en recomendarlo a mis clientes y amigos, también considero que es muy buen lugar para festejar un momento especial con los tuyos, puedo comentar que ya sea en el brunch o en la cena su ambiente, la vista, la música, tiene algo que te hace enamorarte del lugar.
Simplemente increíble!!! Nos encantó, desde el inicio para reservar todo marchó muy bien, probamos varios platillos y todos deliciosos y para cerrar los postres el qué se llevó la noche fue el Baked Cheesecake!!! Gracias a todo el equipo por darnos una grata experiencia!!
Es un gran lugar. Fuimos al brunch y aunque no habían opciones veganas dentro del menú del brunch, si me cocinaron algo y pienso que fue muy considerado. El servicio muy lento y a nuestra mesera se le olvidaba constantemente lo que ordenábamos.
De las mejores experiencias culinarias que he tenido en todo Cabo, es un lugar súper increíble, aislado de todo el ruido, la gente del lugar es súper lindísima, las bebidas son otra maravilla, en definitiva mi top #1
EXCELENTE lugar, vista espectacular al arco, para cenas reserven en hora de atardecer en terraza, en bebidas les recomiendo “Torotini” en general todo muy rico y de excelente calidad, la atención de los chicos 10/10 y lo mejor es que la señorita gerente se toma el tiempo de estar al pendiente del servicio mesa por mesa, definitivamente volveré.
Vista inigualable, drinks y alimentos todo súper rico, nos atendió Armando y el servicio fue excelente. Sin duda volveremos en la próxima visita a Cabo y recomendáremos.
Fue un evento especial, pero aunque fue algo sencillo se notó la clase de restaurante que es y la ubicación con su vibra y vista no tiene precio
This place was magical! From the setting, to the food, to the service everything was 10/10! I can’t even put into words how much we all enjoyed our time here. I hope the feeling of this place doesn’t leave when it continues to grow, as it definitely will!
We went to Torote the week following Christmas, while staying in Cabo for a few days. I was looking for a Farm to Table, and since we were in Cabo San Lucas (vs. San Jose), I did some research and took a leap booking a reservation at Torote. We were so impressed with everything - the service from the moment we arrived, the food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere vibe were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Following a delicious and fun dinner, we fed the donkey, goats and pony, and then made s'mores at the fire pit. I can't say enough good things about our overall experience. I would highly recommend!
We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Torote — the food and hospitality were truly exceptional. The entire staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had casually asked the hostess if finding a car after dinner would be difficult; she assured us it wouldn’t, and to our surprise, she had already arranged one by the time we finished. Our waiter, Sergio, was incredibly kind and engaging, sharing stories about Mexico and offering excellent menu suggestions. Since we stayed close to closing time, several staff members joined our conversation, making the evening even more memorable. The bartender, Javier, prepared incredible “bartender’s choice” cocktails that perfectly complemented the meal. And the food — simply outstanding. The oysters, toatoba fish, and steak were all exceptional, and the cocktails, made with house syrups and spirits, were equally impressive. The farm-to-table philosophy shines through in every dish. The setting itself is stunning, with views of the Cabo marina and coastline. I’d highly recommend Torote to anyone visiting the area — and coming a bit earlier to enjoy the sunset is absolutely worth it for the breathtaking view.
The restaurant is AMAZING! The best one here in Cabo... Server Vanesa was very polite and helpful with decisions about food and drink. They have beautiful farm in the back from which they take meat... We have been here twice in our 9 day vacation in Cabo.
Excellent food, gluten free options- very knowledgeable. Killer views of medano bay and surrounding mountains. Slight cool breeze in the evening coming off the hills.

Such an incredible dinner spent here! We were told to arrive early for our reservation to walk the grounds and boy was that worth it. This restaurant is farm to table so was so cool to see the beautiful property first with the plants and animals. Dinner was delicious and the staff was incredible! This is one of my parents favorite local restaurants and I can see why when they took me there.
This was our first time visiting Torote, and it was truly unforgettable. We made our way up a winding dirt road that led us to the top of the mountain, where we stepped into a charming, rustic setting. Goats, sheep, and even a donkey greeted us—clearly trying to get someone’s attention for a snack, and we were more than happy to feed them too. It was a simple but special moment that instantly eased our minds and brought big smiles to our faces. Marina gave us a tour of the grounds, which included a lovely shared garden used by both the restaurant and local residents, a quaint church, a reception area for events, and even a pickleball court. As the sun began to set, we were guided to our dinner spot with breathtaking views overlooking downtown Cabo—absolutely stunning! We enjoyed the baked brie and a perfectly cooked steak dinner. Adrien took wonderful care of us—he was thoughtful, attentive, and very knowledgeable. To top it all off, they surprised us with champagne and dessert to help us celebrate our anniversary. The food, the ambiance, and the hospitality were all exceptional. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
My husband and I were in Los Cabos for a very short amount of time because we were visiting by cruise ship. We were able to book a reservation with Torote about one week out, and they messaged us 24 hours prior to confirm the reservation and inquire about any dietary restrictions or special occasions. Torote is approximately five miles /eight kilometers from the city center which translates to a 25 minute drive on a fairly rough dirt road to get up to the Valle del Sol. Even so, we had no problem getting an Uber driver booked to and from the restaurant. When we arrived, we were taken to a table on the top veranda, overlooking the beautiful city of Cabo San Lucas. Our waiter, Armando, was perfect in every way and we loved chatting with him about his recommendations, and his time as a crew member from his own cruising days. The head chef was kind enough to take a few minutes to chat with us, and when Mariana found out we loved animals she took us to meet and feed the animals who live there on the farm. 10/10 we would recommend, and we will be back anytime we visit Los Cabos!
If a place is expensive, then it better live up to the high expectations. Torote most definitely does. A foodie’s delight: mouthwatering food, exquisite combinations of unexpected ingredients, excellent and attentive service, and a great view to boot. Everything on the menu is so good I don’t think you can make a bad choice!
Recommend to us by our hotel we were not disappointed. Slightly alarmed on our way there as we were not expecting the dirt road. This was definitely exasperated by our uber driver who got lost and then decided to drive down a small sandy dune to get us back on track. The view, the service, the food was absolutely outstanding. It was worth the drive.
During our recent trip to Cabo, we had the pleasure of dining at Torote Restaurant, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled in the tranquil Valle del Sol area, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, providing a serene and picturesque setting. charm and modern elegance. With its open-air design, warm lighting, and tasteful decor, Torote creates an inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both romantic dinners and special celebrations. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. The staff’s dedication to providing a memorable dining experience was evident in every interaction. All of the food was excellent! One of the unique aspects of Torote is its commitment to sustainability and farm-to-table practices. Many of the ingredients are sourced from their on-site organic garden, ensuring freshness and supporting local agriculture. They even allow for kids to feed animals on the nearby farm!
I cannot recommend Torote enough. Hands down, the best food we’ve ever had. All around. Appetizers, cocktails, main course, sides, and dessert. We tried it all. Not to mention, the perfect ambience, gorgeous views, and kind service were impeccable. Highly recommend, the steak with roasted serrano pepper hollandaise, oysters, lemon chimichurri baked cauliflower, and the margarita nuestra with watermelon. If you’re a coffee for dessert person, top your perfect meal off with a coco coffee nightcap. This place made for the absolutely memorable evening. I would return to Cabo to eat here.
Spectacular views. Great food….so flavourful. Service is top notch. Be warned uber will only do drop offs and it’s a bit of a drive and off the beaten path to get there. Good news the restaurant has private service to take you home. Will be back again
I just had my wedding here. We booked it sight unseen and it was the best decision Patsy and her team were amazing! They helped us work within our budget and still have a magical experience. Our tasting was to die for! I am still dreaming about the octopus and lobster Mac. All our guest are still talking about how amazing it was. We cannot recommend enough!
What a hidden gem!! The restaurant/ farm/ community is located in the hills of Cabo off road. When we arrived it felt like a sanctuary and the view from the top floor was just breathtaking. The food, original, modern Mexican was a lovely surprise as well, they grow and produce most of their vegetables, herbs and eggs on the farm. Service was attentive and smooth. We had a tour of the property at the end of our dinner which was fantastic as well. Definitely a must if you’re visiting!
Incredible spot for Los Cabo’s. If you want to enjoy the view go for lunch but equally beautiful up on the mountain at night. Food was perfectly executed and delicious for every bite. What a great birthday dinner! My friends steak was juicy and flavorful. Don’t forget the tour of the entire garden and feeding the animals after your meal!
An amazing evening at Torote. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The cocktails were all phenomenal. Such a treat to dine here and definitely worth the drive up. Marina was so kind to show us the grounds after dinner. Highly recommend!
This place is just absolutely incredible. I have not been blown away in a long time but boy did they get me. I am still in shock that this was such an incredible dining experience. I was reading a few reviews and they just do not do it justice and I am referring to the positive reviews. To start with the place is absolutely incredible and they put a lot of though into the environment. They took advantage of the layout and the setup provided beautiful views. The food was even more incredible than the environment. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. No joke, it was plate licking good and for me that is a bold statement. The staff were just unbelievable too. They had to have had a master class or something on service because I cannot remember another time I was treated so amazing by staff. There is good but they were great. Armando was our server and every single question he was asked was answered fully and sometimes more than once as I have a hearing issue and he repeated things with a smile. Our greeter was Marina and she was just on another level. She took us on a tour of the property while the valet got our car after dinner and even took us to see the animals and allowed us to feed them. She brought veggies so we can do it. If you go I highly recommend you ask to take the tour. So beautiful. I know there are a ton of great places to eat in Cabo but if you don't come here you truly missed out. One of the top 10 places I have ever eaten in my life.

Out of the way dinner with lovely views. Minus 1 star because they don’t have cell service or offer WiFi to book Ubers- you are forced to use their taxi service to get back to your hotel (expect +35USD for 2 people, which I find to be a total rip off since we paid 8USD to get there). The good: Beautiful views and delicious food. We had a stunning table upstairs right at the edge. Went for Valentine’s Day, where they offered a set menu for 1,890MXN per person. Started with cocktails which we shook ourselves, both options were with mezcal- very tasty. Appetizers: Pistachio & Parmesan Risotto Arancini, Smoked Tuna Mousse on Sweet Potato Chips Shared Starters: Baked Oysters, Beetroot with Honey and Grapefruit Vinaigrette, Fried Shrimp with Shaved Asparagus Main: Beef fillet with smoked pumpkin puree Dessert: Cheesecake, Cream puffs, Macaron, Coffee cocktail. Dessert was served in their new event venue, which looked very nice. There was a live saxophone player which was pretty fun. The not-so-good: The aforementioned taxi rip-off put a sour taste on the evening. We are happy to pay for great food and service and felt we got what we paid for when it came to food/drinks, but the taxi was a blatant & tasteless money grab. Service for food was extremely slow, and at times it felt as if our waiter had forgotten about us. Overall, lovely place, worth a visit. I probably won’t be back though.
