La cena para dos que recordaremos de este verano. Es una experiencia cercana desde el principio, Esther te hace sentir como en tu casa, amable y profesional a partes iguales. El servicio de sala también muy profesional y atento a los detalles. Elegimos el menú Esencia y creo que acertamos de pleno. Todos los platos en su punto perfecto y presentados de forma pulcra y detallista: Carpaccio ibérico foie y canónigos; Viera, trufa, huevo y jugo ibérico; Lubina salvaje con helado de pepino; Cabrito asado al tomillo y miel y los postres y petit four. Como he dicho, una experiencia top y con el detalle final del saludo del chef Javier Martín. Enhorabuena por el trabajo bien hecho. 100% recomendable. Volveremos.

Una cena magnífica en la que disfrutamos como hacía mucho tiempo que no hacíamos. Probamos el menú Origen y fue todo un acierto, con gran variedad de sabores y texturas . Frutos del mar y aire cítrico o mar y montaña fueron algunos de los platos que más disfrutamos y agradecer a Esther por su trato y amabilidad que nos hizo sentir como en casa.

Hicimos menú origen de cena, para cenar quizás un poco largo. Pero toda la comida buenísima… el sitio agradable y atención bien.

Hemos ido 7 personas con el menú Origen y todos los elogios q pueda decir para la comida, el sitio, el servicio y la amabilidad, me quedo corta. Hemos estado comiendo durante tres horas y medias platos tras plato, con un servicio perfecto, y a cual plato más rico, es una pasada el menú, la materia prima es buenísima, pero el guiso y las salsas son una pasada que culminan cada plato en un 10. Un fin de año verdaderamente especial. Desde el primer momento se nota el cariño y la dedicación con los que está elaborado el menú: cada plato estaba delicioso, cuidado al detalle y lleno de sabor. Pero más allá de la comida, quiero destacar la calidez y el trato tan cercano de Esther, que te hace sentir como en casa desde que entras por la puerta. Y como broche final, un gesto que dice mucho del espíritu del lugar: quien me iba a decir que Javier el súper Chef, tuviera la enorme amabilidad de acercarnos al hotel cuando no encontrábamos taxi. Increíble la experiencia gastronómica, una elaboración muy cuidada y unos sabores que nunca habíamos tenido la oportunidad de degustar. Un trato exquisito por parte del personal. Para repetir en nuestra próxima visita a Cáceres sin duda.

Good food, I enjoyed most of all the salmorejo surprise and the carpaccio, and the vegetal sap, but maybe had too high hopes for the goatling. The food was plentiful, maybe better for lunch for those of us not used to the late Spanish dinners. The warm service given by Esther was outstanding, really appreciated the help with choosing a nice glass of wine. The digital menu, however sustainable, reminds me of pandemic.

It is not in the historic part of Cácares. We took a cab 10 minutes to get there. I would do it again every time.

Truly a disaster! They didn’t have enough staff in both the kitchen and the restaurant. We had only 4 dishes but it took us 2 hours to finish the meal. We were asked if we wanted dessert. No, thanks! Didn’t want to waste smother 30 minutes for the dessert to arrive. Foodwise, it’s not good. Never again!

Incredible food at an incredible price. The mid-level tasting menu for just EU33 brings around 7 courses, prepared with great skill, and served with a perfect combination of silver-service and friendly advice. Expect pairings not normally seen outside Spain - with spectacular effect. Everything had me smiling and wishing for more, but the final main course (beef cooked perfectly, served under a cloche with wood smoke, and with a sauce of foie and the famous local runny cheese) just knocked the whole experience out of the park. Clearly well-known by locals, do not allow the 5 minute cab ride into a modern area of apartments deter you from leaving the old town for a fabulous dining experience.

This was one of the strangest dining experiences I've ever had! We were the ONLY guests in the restaurant all evening. And while normally we don't particularly mind online menus, this restaurant has TWO - one for wine, one for food, and they're both long. Very difficult to navigate by cellphone. We asked for help with the extensive wine list. Our waitress was sweet but didn't know much. She brought out the chef (I think) who was of no help. We mentioned that we liked Godellos, so he suggested two. The one we chose was undrinkable. (I've only ever sent back one wine in the past.) The second one was delicious. The amuse bouche (cod fritters) were delicious, as were the starters ( salmorejo and smoked salmon strudel). But there was nothing remotely resembling a strudel with the salmon dish. It was some lovely smoked salmon on a bed of greens with cherry tomatoes. The main dishes were fine but not spectacular (mullet and monkfish) . But again the menu was misleading (or we were brought the wrong food). The monkfish description included pasta verdi. There was no pasta on that plate, and there was nothing even remotely green on the plate (the sauce was bright orange). We declined dessert, but they brought us delicious little fried dough rings that we thoroughly enjoyed. While there were some good points to our dinner, we would certainly never go back (and spend 160€) for such a weird experience.
