Comida muy rica. Hemos pedido gazpacho y migas y nos quedamos contentos. Raciones generosas que se pueden compartir. El camarero muy majo. El local algo descuidado. Deberían mejorar ese punto.

We ordered: scrambled eggs with mushrooms and Serrano ham, amazing… incredible flavor. The ratatouille was also delicious, and we had a beef tenderloin. I didn't really like the tenderloin… it had a strange taste. We ordered it with a sauce and they charged us €3.50 for it, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. It's understood that the sauce is included in the €26 price of the tenderloin, but they didn't tell us before we ordered it. Either you warn us or you don't charge us for it. I thought it was a bit cheap, to be honest. And for dessert, fig tart and tecula mecula. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The only downside was the sauce… it left something to be desired.

It must be said that the food is excellent. The migas were delicious, and the grilled Iberian pork was outstanding. Our server, Raúl, was friendly, incredibly kind, and professional. He made our meal truly enjoyable. The only slight drawback, which doesn't detract from the rest of the experience, is the place itself. It looks a bit messy and unkempt. If you put a group of people in there, you could make it look fantastic in a morning, because it has so much potential. But all in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. We'll be back.

If you're in Cáceres and looking for traditional cuisine with a quality upgrade, this place is a must. The place has that "traditional restaurant" feel, without any fancy decor, but that's where its charm lies. The dishes are traditional: the Torta del Casar we ordered was spectacular, creamy, and with that powerful touch. But the highlight was the migas extremeñas: superbly prepared, crunchy, flavorful, a ten. As for the main courses, they delivered. The Iberian secret was flavorful, although a little less cooking would have made it perfect, and the suckling pig had crispy skin and a traditional flavor. It's the typical place where you know you're going to eat well, with no surprises, and a touch of traditional cuisine. As for improvement, the time between first and second courses was longer than desired, but it's not something that can't be fixed.

I'd like to divide my review into two parts. The first concerns the food and service. I must say the food was truly excellent: beautifully presented, generous portions, and homemade desserts. The service was also outstanding—a very professional, cheerful, and attentive person at all times. The second part concerns the restaurant itself. While it doesn't detract from the previous review, it clearly needs a renovation to make the experience truly perfect. This is said with the utmost constructive intent.

Sin querer definirlo como restaurante de batalla es la definición que más le encaja. Los camareros simpáticos y el servicio fluido. El local está escondido y un poco descuidado ,pero limpio en general. El cochinillo bastante bueno, la pluma decepción(cortada en 5 trozos y tirada a la pancha, en conclusión pasada, seca y quemada) los postres no pedimos porque vimos que son sin más. El precio es razonable. No repetiría

Pillamos el meú (16 €) porque habíamos visto los comentarios y eran buenos. El primer plato salmorejo y ensalada de queso (aceptables), de segundo carrillera y secreto al vino (ricos) el postre dos flanes al huevo (regular) No repetiría. Lo bueno el camarero que era muy agradable.

Restaurante en el centro de Cáceres frente a la iglesia de San Juan, está en un pasaje difícil de encontrar. Local como rústico bastante dejado. Bastantes mesas. Cocina tradicional Extremeña, plato estrella 🌟 el cochinillo. Postres caseros. Servicio muy familiar. Reservar. Mal aparcamiento, mejor ir a pie. 🍏🍏🍏

Slightly disappointing. Food seemed quite generic and somewhat bland. Not that much choice on the day we visited. Prices weren't bad for the town, but the quality could have been better. Service was good.

Reservamos con mucha ilusión vistas las reseñas tan buenas que tenía, para empezar pedimos bebida y no pusieron aperitivo, repetimos bebida y tampoco, vimos como aleatoriamente si las ponían en otras mesas, estuvimos esperando las migas más de media hora muy buenas por cierto y después pedimos judiones con chorizo ni fu ni fa y garbanzos que no tenían sabor ninguno, la carne durísima después de 1 hora y media casi 50€,por cierto el baño para salir corriendo solo recalcar a la camarera muy atenta a todo, sientiendolo mucho no volveremos

Pedí carrilleras y me las pusieron frías, aunque cuando lo dije me las recalentaron. Tampoco me gustaron, la salsa oscura estaba un poco amarga. Sinceramente, no es nada del otro mundo, es un restaurante normalucho (algo incómodo por la situación y cercanía de las mesas) pero el servicio fue atento conmigo. Conozco sitios mejores y a mejor precio. Otro dato es la cantidad de trozos de carrillada, que eran escasos. Y si no reservas no te dan mesa, supongo que por la demanda.

La comida muy justa de calidad y estaba fría. Pedí carrillada y la carne y las patatas estaban raras y nos sentó mal. No pedimos postre ni terminamos los segundos porque nos dio mala espina el sabor de la carne, hicimos bien xq en la noche devolví.

A very negative experience. We had the set menu for €20 per person, and the value for money was terrible. The food was scarce and cold, with very small portions for the price. The desserts were also very meager and unappealing. The service left much to be desired: the place was very dirty, with a sticky floor, and the waiter seemed to be trying to be funny, which we found unprofessional. In short, an expensive set menu for what they offer and an experience we would not recommend. We will not be returning.

The place is filthy, really dirty. The food is average/bad. The staff is nice and it does have a playground for kids but it does not meet any sort of hygienic standards. Expensive for the quality. The housewine was non drinkable.
