El camarero de lo mejorcito, súper simpatico. La comida riquísima, las tapas son pequeñas pero merecen mucho la pena. Las albóndigas de pollo a la cerveza 10/10!!

La comida riquísima a un precio muy competitivo, tapas pequeñas perfectas para compartir y probar un poco de todo. Personalmente nos encantó la merluza en salsa verde. Además el servicio súper agradable y rápido.

Nos habían recomendado este sitio en varias ocasiones, diciendo que tienen las mejores tapas de Cádiz. Ayer dando un paseo decidimos entrar. Desde el principio, el personal fue súper amable, y nos dieron una mesa sin tener, prácticamente que esperar, elegimos sentarnos dentro. Tomamos cuatro tapas en total y nos costó junto a una Coca-Cola y una copa de vino menos de 20 €. Quiero destacar las albóndigas de choco y gambas, nos encantaron, adicionalmente, pedimos croquetas de puchero, berenjenas rellenos de queso, que también estaban muy buenas y una mini hamburguesa con salsa roquefort. Si estás por la zona, no dudes en pararte a tomar unas tapas de verdad que vale la pena.

Estuvimos cenando por recomendación de un amigo, nos gustó mucho. La comida muy rica, patatas fritas de guarnición caseras, servicio rápido y muy amable.

Vinimos a este lugar recomendados por diferentes personas y la verdad no nos defraudó. Buenas tapas, caseras y a buen precio. Pedimos queso, croquetas de puchero que estaban muy buenas, albóndigas y tortillas de camarón. Muy buen servicio y calidad-precio. Al llegar había cola pero nos sentaron bastante rápido.

Trato excelente. Servicio super rápido. Carta muy variada y todo exquisito. Muy buenos precios. Muy concurrida y difícil encontrar sitio en terraza en horas punta, pero los camareros son súper majos y en seguida te buscan hueco. En el interior tiene muchos huecos agradables y barras en la pared. Todo un descubrimiento en el barrio de La Viña. Totalmente recomendable. Volveremos siempre que podamos. 👍🏻👍🏻💕💕

Acabamos de estar cenando en plan picoteo y decir que los platos son caseros y todo con mucho sabor .Producto fresco, Las concretas Caseras de puchero buenísimas y recién hechas, pedimos cazón al coñac súper suave el cazón y la salsa buenísima la mini burguer con roquefort me volvió loca la carne en su punto y el sabor con el queso buenísimo a y decir que todas las tapas vienes acompañadas de patatas fritas casera. Calidad ,sabor precio y amabilidad . Vengo de Madrid y volveré os lo recomiendo

Sin lugar a dudas parada obligatoria. Un vermouth insuperable,una cocina buena,con sazón tradicional dando un giro a recetas clásicas. Pero lo que no deberíais dejar de probar son los minicachopos... Una delicia servida que hasta que no lo partes y ves que fácil se corta y se mantiene en su forma,no puedes imaginar lo que va a pasar en tu boca... Una maravilla

This place is a Gem! From the beautiful art displayed on the walls painted by Rafa’s Father (rafa is the owner) which are INCREDIBLE, to the amazing tapas! My wife had smoke sardines, boquerones and the pulpo ensaladilla, she was blown away, they also delicious vegan options, Rafa treated us like family and made me feel home! I might come back to Cadiz only to visit this fine establishment

Great tapas bar in a vibrant area of Cadiz. Fast service, good recommendations and delicious food. 5 tapas, 4 glasses of wine and big smiles all round for less than 40 bucks. We live in Mallorca and food and service like this for that price would be unthinkable here. I've worked in kitchens for 20 years and I was blown away by the speed that they managed to turn out delicious perfectly cooked food. Well done guys!

This is the best place to have dinner in Cadiz. They only open 3 days a week but I was lucky enough to eat their delicious tapas! I went there at the opening hour and find the last table in the bar. Be early if you don't want to wait. I strongly recommend spinach with chickpeas and aubergine with cheese. Yummy! 😋😋

Such a gem, and how lucky we are to be here on Friday to be able to try this great tapas place. We had boquerones en vinagre (very very tasty), cazón al coñac and queso Viejo. If you are in Cádiz in the weekend, don't miss the chance.

Our walking tour guide recommended this place and they were so spot on. Amazing food, such friendly and good natured staff, and an amazing atmosphere. I am vegetarian and highly recommend the aubergine and cheese dish as well as the spinach dish. My parents who eat fish raved about the sardines on toast, and hake and prawns in squid ink. We went for dinner and although the restaurant opens at 8:30 I would highly recommend arriving anywhere between 8pm-8:20pm for a spot outside. Really great prices and would recommend to everyone.

Very good and inexpensive tapas place. Downhome cooking, nothing fancy but delicious throughout. The menu is different from other places in that you won't find Cádiz classics like shrimp fritters or fried fish. Instead, they have spinach with chickpeas, cheese-filled eggplant and other unusual options. We shared seven dishes among two people. It's a popular place, so you may not immediately get a table. They don't take reservations.

Family business: parents cooking and son (+ a few other guys) serving. English and German speaking. We had Pisto de verduras, Berenjenas rellenas de queso, Cazon al conac, Merluza en salsa verde con gambas, Espirales de calabacin al ajillo. Everything was delicios and affordable. I recommend the place. Also, you should definitely try the Sherry (Jerez made - which is at 20 minutes drive, you should check it out as well if in the area for more days).

Fabulous restaurant. We made the effort to go find it under recommendations and well worth it. Plenty of tables and service is very quick and helpful so you won't have to wait forever to get a seat, but still advise you get there early (not sure if the Google opening times are that accurate at the moment, but won't be far off). We had a selection of dishes: Ensaladilla de Pulpo (octopus salad), Bandenillas Salmon ahumado y queso en aceite (smoked salmon and cheese skewers), tortillitas de Camerones (crispy shrimp omelettes), Espirales de calabacin all ajillo (zucchini in wine and garlic sauce), Albondigas de Choco en su Tinta (cuttlefish meatballs in black ink), Cazon al Conac en salsa de tomate (dogfish in tomato and cognac sauce), Solomillo a pimienta (pork steak in pepper sauce), & chicken in Tio Pepe sauce with serrano ham cubes. All washed down with a lovely bottle of Rafa wine, some beers and plenty of personal interaction. Id say all the dishes were good, but the dogfish and salmon ones were excellent. I wanted to try the aubergine/cheese and the spinach/chickpeas but couldn't eat any more. Lovely surroundings with artwork for sale. I suggest trying to get a table outside. Highly recommended and much better than the usual in cadiz

We were sooo lucky to get a table arriving 15 minutes before they opened on a partly cloudy Saturday in March 2019. Enjoyed the stuffed eggplant, a delicious local red wine (sorry, I didn't take a photo of the label to memorialize it!), garbanzo stew and a lovely dessert. Go for a lovely meal in Cadiz...owner is on site and engaged with customers, nice guy!!

Very busy tapas bar, so be early (before opening!) or get in line. And no wonder, the quality was high and the price low. Among the tapa we tried, the stars were the zucchini strips in white wine and cuttlefish meatballs in black ink. Super friendly service and good recommendations on the wines. This was on par or even better than the tapa places with Michelin plates we visited.

Un sitio económico para tapear por el casco histórico de Cádiz, aunque nos faltó mayor variedad de tapas y encontrar alguna elaboración más típica de la zona. La carta es mucho más amplia en vinos y bebidas que en oferta gastronómica. De lo que pedimos; las croquetas de puchero y las bolitas de bacalao estaban buenas, aunque es cierto que las albóndigas de choco son mejorables, a nuestro gusto. El servicio amable y ágil.

After a very short time spent in queue, we had an amazing dinner at this place. We have tried several tapas, all came to the table super quickly and they were very delicious. The vibes and the service was great. The only disadvantage is that the high tables and chairs were super uncomfortable, making it a bit harder to enjoy the experience. But over all it was a nice experience. :)

During Semana Santa, we had a wonderful evening at Bar La Tabernita in Cadiz! The vibrant atmosphere with locals celebrating added to the charm. Tapas were delicious, and the service was accommodating. A great experience overall!

A really lovely tapas experience, with tasty bites of Spanish flavours and at greatly affordable prices. Come at around 8/8:30 in the evening to get yourself a table and by 9 the ambience is a buzzing. I recommend the hamburger with a blue cheese sauce, steak with cream sauce, croquetas and a healthy tasting of wines and sherries. Also, most tapas dishes come with chips, which I found peculiar but gosh they were so tasty, so keep them coming! The menu changes for the summer and winter months, with the latter offering local stews, which I'm determined to come back and try. The service was also fabulous, and the waitress helped us out with recommendations.

Edito mi propia reseña con sorpresa... He vuelto 2 días después y el trato ha sido pésimo. Que si, que es viernes, que si, que esta lleno. Pero he estado 30 minutos esperando la carta... y otros 10 la cuenta cuando me quería ir. Y le sumas que me ha traído mal lo que pedí. Si, también entendible por la ambigüedad de que una manzanilla es una infusión y un vino blanco. Mi recomendación es... si puedes atender a 100, ten a 100, y sube el % acorde el precio para mantener tu plantilla.
