Fui con mi pareja a almorzar y pedimos un menú 3. La comida estaba exquisita, todo en su punto, una presentación impecable y productos frescos. El camarero que nos atendió (Jesús) fue excelente en su trato, recomendaciones y servicio en mesa. Volveremos sin duda alguna

Este sitio está súper bien. Además, es un sitio de toda la vida que me evoca a mi infancia. La calidad, el servicio y el precio está genial. Mi favorito fue la carrillada. Siempre es mi plato favorito y soy experto en este plato y en Atxuri está muy buena❤️ Pedimos San Jacobo, ensaladilla, gambas al ajillo, chistorras y carrillada. Siempre te cambian el plato y cubierto y atentos todo el tiempo. Súper recomendable :)

Muy buena comida, no solo cocina vasca sino con un toque andaluz. Para disfrutar. Se recomienda la parte de tapas que permite disfrutar de una mayor cantidad de platos. Además, mejor las mesas del interior para disfrutar no solo de la comida sino del servicio, tan bueno como la comida, muy de agradecer en estos tiempos. Altamente recomendable.

Paramos en Atxuri a cenar y 100% recomendable. Destacaría sin duda la calidad de sus productos y sobre todo la calidad del servicio. Nos atendió Jesús y fue muy profesional a la par que cercano. Pedimos las anchoas, tabla de quesos y chuletón. Volveremos a pasar por aquí cada vez que volvamos a Cádiz.

No suelo tomarme la molestia en dejar una reseña a menos que merezca la pena. En este caso lo hago porque ha sido una experiencia fantástica. El trato de Francesco desde el primer momento fue maravilloso, profesional, cercano, agradable… nos asesoró con los platos con paciencia y simpatía. Estaba siempre atento a todas las mesas con naturalidad y elegancia, me sorprendió como se puede ser tan cercano y profesional sin ser invasivo, pero siempre atento. Algo que puede pasar desapercibido es la salida de las comidas, que parece que lo tenía cronometrado, todo fue perfectamente fluido. Por otra parte, la comida fue espectacular. Mi pareja y yo comimos unas croquetas de carrillada, merluza a la vasca Atxuri, corvina al brandy y una tarta de queso casera. Me cuesta decir cual de los platos estaba mejor, pero sí puedo decir que todos tenían una buena cantidad de comida, de una calidad, a una temperatura y sabor excelentes. Tengo que hacer especial mención de mi plato, la corvina al brandy, esa salsa estaba exquisita. También decir que la tarta de queso casera puede ser, si no la mejor, de las mejores que he probado. Me he tomado el suficiente tiempo en escribir esta reseña porque de verdad creo que merece la pena, porque ha sido una experiencia, en global, estupenda, volveremos sin duda.

Muy buena experiencia. Restaurante con comida elaboradas en cocina tradicional. Me gusto mucho el bacalao al pilpil, bien de textura, para mi gusto personal le sobraba un cambio de agua, me gusta que tire a ligeramente salado el bacalao. El medio cachopo de mi hijo estupendo. Y la tarta de queso muy buena. Evidentemente no es restaurante barato, pero ofrece a cambio buen producto, servicio y trato. Recomendable para el que no quiere fritos y desee guisos o platos mas elebarados. Para repetir.

Recomendable 100%. Si vas a Cádiz y te gusta la buena comida no dejes de visitar este restaurante Vasco Andaluz en la calle Plocia. Es un acierto, con una carta muy bien cuidada. Tanto la comida como el trato: EXPECTACULAR. Muy buen ambiente. Volveremos

Stumbled across this gem after a rainy walking tour of Cadiz. Our guide told us that this street is where the locals eat. Highlight of our day in Cadiz-great food and welcoming host. Grilled artichoke and eggplant-wrapped tuna were the highlights of a great tapas experience. Our host steered us well and we appreciated his attentive and friendly service. Delightful.

We had the carboncillos de bacalao, Cantabrian anchovies, and cogote de merluza in salsa verde — all outstanding. Every dish was beautifully cooked and full of flavor. Jesús was our fantastic, friendly, and very engaging server — you should ask for him when you dine here. Excellent food, great wine, and genuine hospitality. Atxuri is a must-visit in Cádiz.

This is perhaps the best restaurant in Cádiz. The food is just amazing and the service is fantastic (especiallythanks to Jesus because he's amazing!). It's our 2nd time in Cádiz and Atxuri is a must go for us. This time, they even made the green rice just for me because it was no longer in their menu. Whatever you order will be great, but I highly recommend their seafood For the desserts, our favourites are the cheesecake and the rice with milk.

We had an amazing tapas meal at Atxuri. We had the artichoke flower with Serrano ham, the award winning foie on toast which was amazing, bacalao pil pil. For desert we had the Basque Cheesecake which was the best baked cheesecake we’ve ever tasted. The service was impeccable, and the restaurant is located in a busy street in the center. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a seafood lunch here which was absolutely superb. Cod croquettes (black with cuttlefish ink) were fantastically light with a perfectly cooked filling. Clams with Tio Pepe sauce (also containing onion and jamon, and beautifully emulsified) ally excellent. Tuna wrapped in thin slices of eggplant with a peperonata were perfection, and hake, beautifully fried was served with a disk of cooked onion and olives and was again superbly cooked. A bottle of Mara Martin Godello accompanied the seafood to perfection. Service from Jesus and his team was great, with a ideal pacing of dishes for us to share. The cooking and presentation were highly accomplished and we could not have asked for better.

Cadiz has great restaurants and this is among the best. It's Basque inspired dishes are really to die for. The sauteed clams in garlic were delicious, as were the oxtail croquettes. And I loved the hake with prawns in garlic sauce. Very good wines on offer and very professional and friendly service. Full marks!

Hacía tiempo que no iba a comer y la verdad que me gustó mucho ver que seguía manteniendo el nivel. Tuvimos suerte y sin hacer reserva quedaba una mesa para dos. El servicio genial, muy atento y simpáticos. La comida buenísima. Sus anchoas exquisitas. Como eramos dos nos recomendó pedir rapas, que eran como medias raciones, y ya con "la tapa de san jacobo" estuvimos llenos como para pedir postre. Tendremos que volver pronto para seguir probando el resto de platos.

Restaurante vasco-andaluz en la calle Plocia en Cádiz, muy cerca de la Plaza del ayuntamiento. Carta no muy extensa, pero más que suficiente para poder elegir todo tipo de platos. Estuvimos sentados en la terraza, que se estaba de gloria, muy bien atendidos por Jesús e Isabel. Pedimos de cena alcachofas, gambas al ajillo, merluza a la vasca y bacalao al pil pil y de postre, goxua, postre vasco casero. Todo muy bien cocinado y muy rico. Visited during lunch time and because it was very busy inside, I sat outside. The tuna salad had a nice red sauce but the rest was boring and very very fatty. It had too much mayo and I didn’t finish it. The Andalusian cod was delicious, very fresh and cooked perfectly. The service seemed rushed, inattentive and no one spoke any English but I think they could understand my English. At some point a waiter tried to take the cod dish for a reason I couldn’t understand. Then he spoke to my main waiter and he asked me if it’s good to which I said yes. Then he spoke to another waitress to take my plate?! In broken English I think she said that the plate is too hot and if I’m alright with that. Also in the menu with the smaller portions they didn’t have any meat other than pork which I didn’t like. Overall I had much higher expectations and I don’t think I will visit again.

Visited here in the afternoon. Very disappointing food.. so greasy and cold. Meals all were served at different times.

We had booked a terrace table but on arrival the waitress refused to allow us to sit at one of a number of terrace tables that were empty and tried to make us sit inside. We declined and went next door to On Elgin which was fantastic. While we were there we noted at least one couple who obviously did not have a reservation stroll up, look at the menu outside, decide to go in and who were given a terrace table. I can only wonder why? The waitress was rude, the restaurant did not honour a Google reservation and next door was much nicer.
