After walking from Pontevedra, we were really hungry for some food! We decided to stop here as they offered a daily menu for a good price (16€). The portions were big and the food was really tasty. Also the waitress was really nice. Definitely recommend

It was actually good! I had low expectations (thought it’s another standard Spanish locale) but the food was actually good. We had dinner - a salad and a grilled sole fish. Check out their specials for dinner, they are not in the menu. The dishes are very big fyi. Thank you for a lovely evening by the river!

Really good place to have food, especially when sitting outside. Enjoyed the menu of the day for 16£, including delicious fried fish, an amazing steak with potatoes, and a Santiago cake. Lovely place!

An excellent location...arrived there and had sundowners first and booked a table for 4 of us.. ordered tapas which was more than enough and really tasty ...we had to wait for a while...BUT OMW...it was well worth the wait...fresh ...warm and deliciously divine 😜 and sitting and nattering away really makes for an enjoyable evening .. highly recommended, this is a must stop.

This is a great place I would recommend to everyone, especially pilgrims! It has a day menu with lot of options in it. The service is great, location even better (next to the river)! Pilgrim menu is 15€ which included a starter, main course, a drink and coffee/desert. Best meal at Camino Portuguese!

Fantastic place for dinner and wine. Located at a beautiful spot next to the river. The 2 waiters were fast and kind to my wife and myself who speak no Spanish. The food was excellent, and the portions were more than we could finish. The price was also great - 10 euros for 2 courses, desert, and a glass of wine.

Wonderful food and service. The lamb was excellent along with the octopus pastry. The wine was superb. Also, the chocolate pudding was superb you should try it.

Comida muy rica y la terraza al lado del río es súper agradable. Si no fuera por la espera... estuvimos 1h esperando para cenar, ni siquiera pan. Y la ración de pulpo muy cara para lo poco que lleva. Eso si, la tortilla entera merece mucho la pena. Por el mismo precio comen 8!

Menú variado y a un precio razonable

Menú del día por 16 euros con postre incluido. Lugar idílico en terraza con el río.

El local tiene una terraza muy agradable con vistas al río Umia. La comida está muy rica, carta de tapas, es casera, las patatas no son congeladas 😬 y tienen menú del día para la comida. Lo que sí tengo que decir es que las tapas me parecieron un poco caras, pero eso es mi opinión personal.

Tienen un menú del día de 16€ que incluye un primero, un segundo, un postre o café, una bebida, pan (muy bueno el pan). Los primeros que pedimos eran bastante mejorables: melón con jamón de supermercado y croquetas de paquete con patatas caseras Los segundos fueron más que aceptables y eran contundentes: filete de ternera y merluza a la gallega Los postres estaban muy buenos: tarta de queso y tarta de Santiago El servicio fue un poco lento. Fuimos con reserva previa.

La ensalada deliciosa, la tortilla buena pero seca (se notaba que era vieja) y el postre exquisito. Excepto el camarero que me atendió que fue muy correcto, los de barra muy desagradables. Para la gente de fuera parece que el trato cambia. En general me gusto.

Paramos a comer en As Termas y la experiencia fue muy buena. El menú del día costaba 16 € y la relación calidad-precio me pareció fantástica. El segundo plato era súper abundante, bien servido y con mucho sabor, al igual que el primero. Comida casera, sabrosa y con raciones generosas, justo lo que se agradece en el Camino.

Restaurante a pie del rio Umia.Gran terraza muy agradable con el sonido del cauce del río.La comida esta bien sin nada que destacar.Actualmente tienen un menú por 16€ que incluye 1° y 2° platos,bebida y postre o café.

Llegamos a Caldas ya entrada la tarde de hacer el camino y buscábamos algún sitio con cocina abierta. Aquí la tenian y pedimos unos pimientos del padrón y tortilla. Los pimientos muy ricos pero la tortilla estaba realmente mala, sabía a aceite rancio y muy usado, como si hubiesen usado aceite de freir otras cosas recién sacado de la freidora. Por lo demás bien, la terraza está genial y pegada al río. El precio no está mal, algo más caro (pero no mucho) que otros lugares bastante mejores de Caldas que pudimos visitar a la noche.

Hemos cenado mi hija, de 13 años y yo. Hemos pedido el pollo a la plancha y el bacalao a la gallega, y el camarero no ha sido capaz de explicar el volumen de los platos. Al ponerlos le he dicho que podría haber avisado del volumen de las raciones, y su explicación es que que si venimos de hacer el camino, no sabe el hambre que tenemos. Le digo que si llega a avisar, desde luego no pedimos esto, y se encoge de hombros. La comida buena, pero el detalle, bastante feo.

Unos de los camareros un matón devuelto el segundo plato un bacalao que para mí gusto no estaba bueno pues olía un poco a tufillo y no soy un sibarita. No me dio opción Cambiarlo y al pedir la cuenta y no descontarlo pedí la hoja de reclamaciones a lo que su contestación fue que era un GETA que me había comido medio bacalao mentira lo desmigue para comerlo pero en cuanto lo probé lo devolví Alce un poco la voz por lo que me había llamado cuando de pronto se quitó el delantal y menos mal que lo pararon no sé qué hubiese pasado.bueno MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA No lo recomiendo
