I always liked the Denny's in Calexico, especial since the local family style buffet closed a few years ago. Medium priced, a wide variety of choices on the menu...I've never had a bad meal there. It's....a pleasant place to eat.

Calexico's Dennys has the best customer service, even better than any of El Centro's. The premises in Calexico would benefit from an update or renovations, but their staff is excellent! I usually visit with my kids and they are usually very kind, patient and considerate.

The outside dining area wasn't open but I had been shopping and had alit of bags of stuff waiting on a friend to pick me up so I just sat down to wait. A waiter showed up and ask me if I wanted anything I said yes and ordered a cheese burger with fries and it was wonderful. Didn't have to serve me but that didn't matter to him. Visiting El Centro for the day. Stopped in Denny's to have breakfast. Ordered a reg breakfast, it was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. They are still adhering to sanitizing their tables which I was happy to see. No longer checking temps, but maybe should now that they are at full occupancy again.

It was really good . The young man that attended us was kind promp professional. Help us with the menu items and had great recommendation on what to order. The food was prompt the chef was attentively comucating with our server on our oder. Thank you guys .

I was craving breakfast even though it was around 4:30pm. Food took forever and ever to be ready but it was well cooked and well presented and best of all it was pretty good. Definitely hit the spot.

Denny’s is always a great place to get comfort food. I was a little surprised that I was greeted in Spanish versus English, but when I responded they quickly change languages. Service was excellent, and the food was good. One star off for a men’s room that was a little funky.

Family of 6 in a booth- the booth didn't have much room between the table to seat. As a large chested person I couldn't see my food very well. So I had to use the napkin shirt combo, even though I felt infantile. Haha they seats being uncomfortable is my only major complaint. Food was decent, it's a Dennys. There wasn't any glaring issues. We came before it was busy on a Sunday & once it got busy it was hard to get help though so just a heads-up. I liked the seats at the counter like the OG diners, was a cute touch.

$50 for breakfast is outrageous for two. Unbelievable! Has inflation gotten that bad or is Denny's gone crazy. I've never paid that much for breakfast. We had two grand slams, a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. I would have to say that it was over priced.

Might not be the staff fault but management that do not schedule enough staff for busy days. Everyone knows holidays are super busy, payday either in the valley or our neighbors in Mexicali. Internet? Not good. There is nowhere to add discounts e.g. AARP and others. However, we continue doing business with the restaurant because of the great service provided by the waitresses who we have known for many many years, and because we believe in doing business in our home town.

To be honest i ordered over easy eggs and they got me scrambled egg plus i ordered only one creppe and gave me two,and the service attendant never asked us if we need it something until almost till the end of our breakfast i did not like the service but again it's ok,and im posting this just to let people know and make sure what you ordered is the correct order thats all!!

I have been to this place often and the managers are rude, bad attitude, we usually sit at the counter for faster service, last time the hostess didn't even tell us there was nobody serving the counter, they had to sit us at a table after more than 20 minutes of waiting, by the way the coffee is really bad.

Im giving two stars because sometimes its good and sometimes it isn't, also if you order online do it an hour ahead i order something and it took more than an hour to be delivered.

Food is ok I like better ihop. The plate is full in ihop yet here at dennys they serve you and the plate is almost empty, you guys should get smaller plates so it look like more. Also you have to be asking the waiter for more coffee also the establishment inside is too dark isnt suppost to be a place to eat breakfast where the colors are bright not to make you go to sleep with the darkness 🤔 #hater

I went at 2pm, so it wasn't breakfast. I ordered a Mediterranean chicken with some greens. The chicken breast came as if it was cooked from a long time before, it was dry and not warm. The greens were cold, not even lukewarm. I think they need to deliver quality just like breakfast. The service was very good, we were attended by a very nice lady.

Service was good but if you’re vegan or vegetarian I’d recommend not getting the BYOB here with the Beyond Patty. I got food poisoning from it since it seems like they probably gave me a beef patty.

This was actually horrible. Seems like it's a bunch of kids running the place. I brought my two teen boys after their last day of school. BOTH of them got sick before the check came, I got sick shortly after getting home. Someone in that kitchen doesn't have clean hands.

Coffe was cold. Waitress felt bothered and looked like was mad. And cashier, when I paid the bill, not even a thank you.

The last couple of times my wife and i went, the silverware was dirty, the coffee cups were stained with coffee ! One of the supposed clean replacment coffee cups had lipstick stains on it! The waitreses weren't all that hospitable and i don't think we"ll be going back there again in a long time.

I came to this Dennys for breakfast. They were pretty crowded. After an hour waiting for my food to come, I began to notice people who came in after me being served their food. Then, after I asked about my order, the kitchen staff started giggling, talking to the manager. I don't want to feel like my time being waisted is a joke. I was going to ignore all the people who say Dennys is a racist organization. This type of thing happens too often for it to be a coincidence. Thanks for waiting my time and disrespecting your position and brand mission.

Went in early in the morning after a long shift in law enforcement. Waited to be seated for like around 5 minutes, keep in mind place was nearly empty. The moment a group of middle aged ladies came in. They were automatically greeted and seated before me. After being seated, I waited a couple of more minutes for someone to take my order. Order was wrong, I had asked for a food serving to be replace with something else and didn't get offer a refill or a server approach me. Only thing they did was come by to give me my receipt when I was not even half way done with my food and quickly took off. Terrible customer service. 0/10 Would go again.

I ordered some nachos and it came really disappointing. They gave me a really poor amount of meat and cheese, and even worse a hair… absolutely disgusting.

The worst customer service. Tables were very dirty. We were a party of 10. While our waitress was getting drinks, other waiters were standing by talking by drinks station at one point it was 5 people standing there. After a few minutes someone arrived because everyone was cleaning. Food was cold.

Let me start off by saying that I am a fan of Denny's but by far this is the worst Denny's I have ever gone to, the service was horrible. The food was mediocre. Firstly, we had to go and find our server be sure she never came back to take our order after she brought our drinks. I ordered Tilapia wish is fish and I understand it may take longer to cook but, my food came 30 min after my friends did and to top it off the fish was cold in the middle and the broccoli I kid you not was hard as a rock because it was still frozen. I was so hungry I just ate my plate and left the broccoli and decided to not make a big deal about it. We asked the server for the check and I swear we waited 40 min and she never came back. We had to go to the front counter to ask for our check. Horrible experience all around and if I could I would give them 0 stars. Management clearly needs to make some changes

Sorry it's a no for me. Food taste like cardboard and service is almost none existing. Prices are ok but I don't mind paying for good quality food. I've eaten on other Denny's and everything was great. I won't go back to this one ever.

One of the worst experiences ever in the Valley. Stopped by at around 7:30 pm for a late dinner. They had those Covid tents available to dine outside. There was a waiter sitting on one of the tables looking at his cell phone close to the entrance of the building. There was a sign to wait to be seated, so we waited and waited and waited...... They only had one waiter for 6 tables. We continued waiting for another 6 minutes. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes without any type of contact from the staff, so we left and went the the Dennys in El Centro.

Me and my wife went to this Denny’s today. It wasn’t very good. We had High hope’s because it was busy. We both ordered steaks, my wife’s was undercooked & her sides where cold, and my steak was missing half of the fillet side and didn’t look like the T- bone in the picture. Cold sides & burnt toast as well & small portions .We didn’t get our fork and Knives until after our meals where served & then we weren’t able to catch are server again. We spoke to the manager and he gave us are sides and one soda for free, we paid for everything else. Overall, the food was disappointing but not as much as the service.
