West Best Pizza Co

My husband and I love West Best! Their pizza is pretty good but they have the best appetizers. Our favorite is the Pepperjack Mac and cheese bites.

The Food is very good, and they have a really good special, 2 mediums one topping for only 16$ bucks, I mean with inflation you can't find a better deal anywhere, I got 4 pizza for around 32$

Great food and friendly staff

As frequent campers of this area, this little gem was a great surprise! Service was friendly and the pizza was wonderful. Salads seemed hand picked with fresh veggies and a variety of lettuce types. The crust was so good. For a small town pizza place, it’s awesome. We also tried the magic mushrooms. They had us imagining revisiting again and again!

I have ordered pick up about 3 times now and the pizza and wings are good. The front cashiers are nice and clean area. Wait time is not as bad either.

We've never been in California city before. This was the first time. We were out there camping and on our way home kiddos and husband wanted pizza and this place was I pick. We do not regret it at all! It was so good! And the employees were so welcoming!

I love the mustang pizza on them menu but yesterday I ordered the large house because I am not a big vegetable eater and to my surprise it was delicious, fresh with so many different vegetables,flower broccoli, spinach, mix lettuce, Carrots…and more. So if you are in need of fresh veggies try that salad.

Brought my family to dine in and we had them double cut our extra large pizza twice cause it didn't cut all the way through the first time but once they did it the second time and we ate it, it was really good!! I ended up buying another one but they said it was on the house. I took it as a Christmas gift. So thank you again west best pizza. 99.99% satisfied. This is my family's pizza spot now. Great prices! Great pizza! Great staff!

Meatball sub was great! Quantity and taste both exceeded expectations. The fries was a pleasant surprise!

The pizza was really good came out piping HOT and had a good taste, the wings were also REALLY GOOD nice and crispy and plenty of sauce .. The Spuds not so much they were edible but had like a fish flavor taste to it, and could not taste any potato.. but over all good experience and would definitely go back for the pizza and chicken.

I stayed in California City and ordered for dinner. Delivery was about 45 minutes, but the food was so good. It came hot and the Sprite cold. Definitely recommend.

They've got beer on tap and tvs for the family. Staff are all wonderful, friendly, fast, and efficient, and they do delivery. We try to stop in once a week or so and we've never been disappointed in the years we've been coming here.

They have some pretty good (craft) beer, at a reasonable price. Food is good also. Pleasant staff.

i love the fried ravoil. I would definitely recommend it. Every time i go here, the food is always good, and the people are nice, and i never had a bad experience.

Really delicious and cheesy pizza! Also dine in is available so if you want the parlor feel, go for it. Def will be coming back. Only reason i didn’t give them a 5 stars is solely on the fact that no one was wearing a mask, not even the chef. This didn’t deter me due to the fact that my family unit is fully vaccinated, so i took the precaution myself. but besides that, great place.

The pizza was surprisingly good. Great dough and fresh toppings. The sauce and cheese could use a little work but are fine. The facilities were very clean and the lunch special prices were great too. About $7.50 for a salad, soda and a personal pizza. The sandwiches were good too. The lunch special prices were about the same.

Generally basic pizza, but passable and on time. Overpriced compared to a chain restaurant, however agreeable for a local establishment. Music was overall rather loud and little to no "wait seating" if you didn't call in your order. Staff however was friendly, communicative, and honest every step of the way.

This is an ok place. I didn’t give them more stars because I’ve only had the Pizza and it wasn’t the best. They charged like $4 extra to substitute the traditional pizza sauce for Barbecue sauce. Which I thought was outrageous. I’ve never been inside so I can’t speak on the atmosphere but I’ve never heard anything bad about it. I say give it a try. It’s not the worst place to eat out here. I think there is a better place to get Pizza but if you don’t want to spend $45 to feed your family then this is the place. They aren’t too expensive and the food is pretty decent for the price. The service is friendly so I can’t complain. The girls that answer the phone are very patient considering how busy the phones are. My husband usually picks up the food and he’s never complained about the service and as long as the kids eat finish their dinner I feel like it’s a win. Try something other than the Pizza. I’ll live through you vicariously.

In 2019 I moved away from California's central coast - they had an award winning pizza place Wild West Pizza. When I came to Cal City I was so shocked and impressed by the quality of Best West's pizza. It was on par with the award winning pizza. I ordered a few months ago during the summer and the food was still excellent. However, I just went again today (December 2nd) and the pizza tasted such poor quality. Did you guys acquire Boron's Andy's Pizza chef? I lived in Boron for 3 years and almost never ate pizza because of the poor quality of Andy's. And this is from someone who adhered religiously to pizza Friday. For the price I almost always rather buy frozen.

He got there and they only had made 1 Pizza. The wings were not good. They tasted old. Also there were other problems for other customers. They were busy but this is common with this place. .

Would have loved to try the food, unfortunately we stood at the counter for 10 minutes with employees walking passed us not acknowledging us at all. (At least 4 different employees, with only 2 other guests in the building) Would've loved to spend my money at a local business...but with service like this no wonder CalCity is broke...disappointed.

Worst experience here ever! We’ve previously order delivery and never had a problem here! The driver had an iPhone an still couldn’t find our house when the location was dropped to him! No effort was made to correct the fact that we had just picked up cold pizza from them. The manager was trembling when he came out as if he was going to get in a fight or argue! We aren’t there for conflict we just want what we paid for SIMPLE! $60+ for cold pizza like what’s wrong these employees!?!? Cinnamon sticks are a thin pizza with cinnamon and icing hard and burnt! DO NOT EAT HERE! CHANGE YOUR NAME TO WEST WORST PIZZA BECAUSE THE QUALITY IS TERRIBLE ALSO!

Sent $73 dollars on food just for my orders to come with a toddler handful of fries. If I am paying over $20 a combo i expect a decent an amount of fries. Completely disappointed will never order again.

Have not ordered from here in a while. Thought I would take a chance and was very disappointed. We ordered spuds, Tiffany pizza, 24 piece mango hab wings and Cowgirl sub. This meal was $93.00 total.The spuds were hard, chewy and inedible, the pizza was ok but scarce with toppings, the wings were dry and barely had sauce on them, the fries with the Cowgirl sub were also hard and inedible. The only thing that was good was the Cowgirl sandwich. What a waste of money, I will not order from there again.
