If you're looking for a place to have breakfast, lunch, a good pastry shop, a bakery, or excellent macaroons, Pan D'Oro is truly a pleasant surprise. The place is welcoming, and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff is spontaneous and natural. You can grab a coffee while you buy bread... A small parking lot available for customers is an incentive to stop by. I admit, I was skeptical, but the atmosphere is truly beautiful, a truly pleasant surprise. I recommend it.

A café/pastry shop/bakery in the heart of Calolziocorte. Excellent breakfasts, especially the cream brioche (which has a truly delicious and intense flavor). The only drawback: it's generally more expensive than other similarly priced establishments.

Fairly new bar, with plenty of space, clean and well-kept. Excellent selection, everything always tasty and well-made. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Highly recommended!

The bread is tasteless and dries out quickly, the pastries and brioches are too sweet and tasteless, the focaccia and pizza are awful, rubbery, and have no pleasant flavor. The female staff are not very friendly. I won't buy anything else.

Terrible experience every time I go there: zero friendliness, subpar food, and a lack of professionalism from some of the staff. Be careful, it's very easy to go somewhere else in a small town.

Zucchini focaccia was soggy and inedible, at €5.25, almost as good as a pizza. Practically liquid, impossible to hold. Never again.

Unfortunately, I'm giving one star after three less-than-pleasant incidents. The first concerns a brunch I wanted to have. I showed up at noon and was told the kitchen was closed (even though they advertise brunch themselves). I didn't care and ordered what was in the display case near the counter. The girl serving was (to say the least) rude and reluctantly served us. We paid and left. The second incident concerns a direct purchase I made. I wanted to buy some croissants, and when I asked if they had chocolate ones or not, she listed all the croissants to me with a stern expression and a roll of her eyes (at this point, I think it's a brand name). In the end, there weren't any chocolate ones, and I took two empty ones. The latest incident concerns a request for a custom cake (as they themselves mention on the website). I messaged them on WhatsApp, they didn't say hello, they were rude even over text, and when I asked if they only made custom cakes with sponge cake (that's not the problem, it's that they responded the next day, worse than the INPS). I had a really bad experience, three times in a row, by the way; once can happen, but three in a row is a repeat offender. Nothing to complain about the quality of the few things I bought/ate, but I won't be coming again anyway. PS. In the end, I bought the cake at a nearby pastry shop in the streets. I had a great experience, and they even took the time to let them know if the birthday boy liked the cake. There's plenty of room for improvement. Have a nice day.
