Fuimos a comer a este restaurante en Calpe, y fue todo un acierto. Comimos chopitos, berenjena al horno y croquetas de pato, como entrantes. Paella de mariscos de plato principal, muy buen sabor y arroz en su punto. El servicio por parte del señor, muy profesional. Local muy bien. Muy recomendable

Espectacular 😍 de los sitios que vienes a disfrutar sin el miedo de "qué tal estará la comida, calidad..". Nunca fallan y la atención es de lo mejorcito que he visto. Súper recomendable, hoy probamos arroz meloso, creo que hemos probado ya todas sus paellas y hemos salido encantados. El de hoy, arroz meloso con bogavante INSUPERABLE 💯. Las raciones son escandalosas, siempre salgo rodando jjjjj. Deja de dar vueltas porque si lo que buscas es comer bien, calidad y platos elaborados con cariño, El Andaluz lo tiene y con creces

Pedimos varias cosas para compartir y, como siempre, fue un acierto. Las croquetas estaban espectaculares: la de jamón, un 10, y la de pato, buenísima, con ese toque de cebolla caramelizada que la hace especial. El pulpo a la gallega, muy bien de cantidad y muy sabroso. Las tellinas, frescas y riquísimas, de esas que no puedes parar de comer. Pero sin duda, lo mejor fue el bacalao en salsa: la emulsión estaba increíble, de lo mejor que hemos probado. No es la primera vez que venimos y siempre salimos encantados. Además, queremos agradecer especialmente a Christel por su trato cercano, profesional y amable. Da gusto encontrarse con gente así. Volveremos, como siempre.

La comida fue estupenda, al reservar nos pidieron que dijéramos que tipo de arroz íbamos a tomar. Cuando llegamos pedimos cazón (muy rico) y jamón con pimientos del padrón. Mientras comíamos éstos entrantes, nos prepararon el arroz al señoret que habíamos encargado. Las raciones super abundantes y el arroz riquísimo. Era la segunda vez que iba y, seguramente, volveré más veces.

Espectacular! Pedimos dos paellas, una de micuit con habas y costillas, y la otra del senyoret, las dos estaban sublimes. El entrante de la sepia, no la dejó indiferente. Atentos, y de trato exquisito. Un restaurante de confianza para recomendar. Volveremos, así se lo hicimos saber al personal.

¡Vaya buen descubrimiento! La comida, muy muy buena, las camareras y camareros muy majos y agradables. El primer dia comimos paella y nos quedamos con ganas del entrecot, que tenia buenísima pinta... y tuvimos que volver al día siguiente... maravillosa tarta de queso también. Lo recomendarnos y volveremos en cuanto podamos!!! Muchisimas gracias

The best place in Calpe !!!! We love everything here . Just need to keep in mind to make reservations for the paella in advance , but it definitely worth to do so , I couldn’t find a better place than here . All the people work here are so friendly, we feel like home . Can’t wait to come back again !

Very tasty Paella that needs reservation. To reserve seats inside, it needs at least one day earlier. It looks like a quite popular restaurant in Calpe. The service is good, but English speaking is a bit challenging for them. Anyway, good experience and good food.

Always busy and bustling and need to book a table. The food is outrageously good. We’ve been 4 times and had a different tapas menu or paella and always brill. The staff are fun and accommodating and remember any preferences. Would highly recommend.

We wanted to try the paella, but it wasn’t available, so we had a variety of tapas instead - and they were amazing! The service was fantastic, with a lovely and attentive server. To top it off, we got complimentary shots at the end. Great experience!

We came for the rice, but we were told it wasn’t available at the moment. I wasn’t sure why. Anyway, we chose several tapas and were advised not to order more, as it would be enough. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We highly recommend this place!

Super delicious food. One can never go wrong with any of the rice dish on the menu. And we enjoyed the service too, the wait staff are good at recommending dishes, and they are also very friendly and humorous. We went back 2 days straight.

One of the best paellas I ever ate was here. The place is wonderful, clean, bright and food is delicious. The staff try to help you out with the menu to their best knowledge. The portion of paella that we ordered was not the largest compare to other restaurants, but certainly tastiest. We were surprised with the bill at the end of the meal to see how cheap it was.

Me gustó este sitio, paramos por el nombre buscando algo de nuestra tierra, y bueno... Hay que decir que se come bastante bien pero cocina tradicional andaluza..... Pues casi que no la vi. Pedimos un salpicón de marisco que estaba muy bueno tenía bastante condimento, y pedimos un entrecot que la verdad estaba muy tierno y muy bueno, el servicio de los chicos de la terraza estupendo y luego terminó de atendernos la hija del propietario que también de diez súper simpática y amable. Sitio que repetimos seguro. Decir que se me olvidó la foto del entrecot ya que le metimos mano y cuando me acordé ya estaba casi terminando

Comí solo opciones vegetarianas por mi dieta, pero no es lo normal en este local. Materia prima correcta, técnica de cocina adecuada sin alardes. Personal muy amable, sin ser barato tampoco es caro y raciones suficientes.

Muy buena comida, arroz meloso con sepia y almejas, ensalada de queso de cabra con nueces y de postre, crema catalana. Todo buenísimo, la sepia con un par de minutos más hubiese estado más blandita, pero la verdad que se perdona porque estaba espectacular. La ensalada genial y el postre más de lo mismo. El trato del dueño muy, muy bueno. Pero la hija, lo siento pero la hija debería aprender que no se le echa la bronca a los empleados delante de los clientes, se le coge a parte y con RESPETO, se le dice lo que ha fallado y se soluciona el problema de buenas maneras. Así que por ese motivo le pongo un dos al servicio, por ella, por no tratar de buenas maneras al camarero delante de toda la sala . Por el padre pondría las 5 estrellas por el trato que nos ha dado. Pero al ver eso le resto tres, ya que es la heredera cuando él se jubile. El ambiente por los clientes, genial. Hay mucha gente pero con voz moderada. Le quito dos estrellas por ennegrecer el ambiente la hija. Y lo pongo por aquí para que sepa que un buen jefe no hace lo que ha hecho ella. Por lo demás todo excelente, el resto de camareros muy serviciales y atentos. Para repetir

At the end of the day on a Saturday we were trying to get a table, although everything was full. Since it was too late for paella, we ordered tapas. The ,, friptură de pescado,, was ok, but we didn't expect to see so many fish heads … :) And instead of patata bravas they brought us a potato stew, without sauce presented as patata bravas. At first we thought they had mixed the bravas sauce with the potatoes, but when we tasted it, there was also onion. The children were hungry and by the time the waiter came, they had eaten all the potatoes. It was a tasty dish, but not bravas. When I told the waiter, I realized from his expression that he knew we hadn't received bravas, and he had the good sense not to put the potatoes on the bill. I appreciated that and even left him a small tip because he wasn't the one who brought us the potatoes. Overall, the food is good, slightly more expensive than in other restaurants in Calpe, but not exaggerating.

We shared a big chicken and fish rice. The chicken had bones and there was very little fish. There was a little bit of crunchy rice but not enough. Maybe I'm not a fan of paella. I tend to think there is not enough flavor or spice for me. I'm glad we had a so called "good paella" so that I could solidify my opinion.

Pongo reseña negativa porque es la típica que vas a leer para ver de que peca el sitio aunque tenga 5 estrellas, pero es que es un sitio espectacular, paellas típicas valencianas y te ponen unas tapas increíbles, y lo mejor el servicio, super amables y atentos aunque esté siempre lleno. 10 de 10
