My wife and I were greeted by the owner Jamie upon entering the restaurant. It was busy , but unlike where we dined across the street, they know how to handle a crowd. Rebecca , our server, was great. Apparently they have “ secret specials” in addition to the daily specials. That means if you love something, and it’s not on the menu, they try to accommodate. The food is made from scratch, including pasta so they can add or delete items. The busser Franco was awesome keeping us in warm bread and waters. My wife had a chicken and mushrooms and walnuts and fresh apricots. She loved it. I had the chicken parm which is a “secret special”. The food was spectacular, the food amazing, and the staff actually likes what they do and it shows. We loved it and you will too.
Food & service was excellent. I don't like dining outside but the other couple use hearing aids. Indoor dining is too loud & disruptive for them to hear. We had a great evening together. Unfortunately eating on the "sidewalk" was noisy & smelly as cars were driving by and often stopped to drop off people. As more people came. They had to wait & were noisy (just talking) but just a few feet away. We had to finally leave as we couldn't hear each other above them. There should be a better place for them to wait for their tables. I assume it's not as crowded after "Season". We live in Naples full time and we will go back by ourselves & eat inside. 😊👍
The food was amazing, definitely one of the best meals I've ever had. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff was attentive despite being short staffed. A truly beautiful evening.
First time here they just open seven days ago and the place was running very smoothly for just opening seven days. The service was very good. I got the veal Osso Buco and it was really good and proportion size were big !definitely will be back management was very friendly as well.
Everything we had was absolutely excellent. The food was prepared perfectly the service was top-notch. The bolognese might have been the best I've had in Florida. I hope to be back soon.
We had an excellent dinner. Ossobuco is not on the menu but that’s what I had, It’s delicious and melts in your mouth. My hubby had linguine bolognese and enjoyed it as well. Will definitely be back for more!

Every plate was delicious
With SO many choices in my area this little hidden gem is such a stand out! With lovely owners who really care and put everything into their restaurant(s) is really shows Food is delicious! Great portions, quality and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend
Very happy with our meal here. There were 25 things on the menu that sounded delicious. I’d think it’s probably best described as updated classic Italian.
It’s hard to find good chicken / veal parm in this town but this place is hands down the best we have had. Chicken fontanella was also 10/10
After I saw this restaurant highly reviewed recently, we decided to check it out with some friends who said they'd never heard of it before either. So, what a find!! Hidden a bit in the Pelican Bay Plaza, we couldn't have been more pleased. The service (ask for Carmen!) was terrific, professional, and very accommodating. The restaurant itself is very pleasing in ambiance. The food and wine excellent. There's a regular menu but also a daily special menu with so many other choices; it was hard to choose. I ordered a sea bass dish... cooked to perfection! My dinner companions finished everything on their plates and for the first few minutes after serving us, I don't think anyone talked! We were just privately enjoying our meals. We also took Carmen's recommendation of the chocolate cake dessert which we all shared and this should NOT be missed! It was heavenly!!! We will all be back again soon! And as one of my friends exclaimed as we were getting ready to head out, "I don't know why I've never heard of this place before!"
Excellent. I stopped to eat after a event and I really enjoyed! . The appetizer a grilled calamari was very tasty and the veal perfectly tender. Service was great. Danny made a beautiful coktail and she is super knowledgeable....Also server Jonathan very informative about the wine and the menu. I got to meet the general manager as well. A great experience.
5 stars. Matt took great care of us. Ate outside and was nice and quiet. Bread and butter first, then Mediterranean salad, Salmon with mp and green beans, and Rigitoni with Sausage, Broccoli, and cannoli beans, and topped it off with Tartufo. Really good. We’d come back for sure.
I had such a great experience here! The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from an Italian spot — but what really made the night was the service. Matthew went above and beyond for our table. He was attentive without hovering, genuinely friendly, and had great recommendations that made the meal even better. You can tell he really cares about making guests feel welcome. If you’re thinking about coming here, ask for Matthew, he’ll take amazing care of you. Can’t wait to come back!
The Cannelloni were terrific. The flavor was just as Inexpected. The sause was rich, but not over powering. Even the bread and butter were expertly prepared. The Chianti was excellent. Our server was polite, professional and very knowledgable. He took care of the four of usbwithout being intrusive. He was always there when we needed him, but never too soon nor too late. I was very impressed. We had the early ird specials which was 50% off on entres so what a great value!!
Great meal. The September sizzle menu was fantastic. It had excellent choices, great portions and no ridiculous upcharges like what can be typical at other restaurants. The owner could be seen making the rounds and checking on guests to make everything was acceptable. It is an unassuming hidden gem, with great menu choices and attentive staff.
Wonderful dinner on New Year's Eve. The offerings were difficult to choose from, as all the items looked fabulous. The attention to detail was evident by each staff member. We are looking forward to returning for another wonderful dining experience!

Long time established restaurant. Jonathan was our excellent waiter who gave exceptional recommendations. Will be sure to return.

We visited this lovely restaurant for the very first time on Wednesday evening. Two friends and myself. The food, service and ambience were all excellent! Great italian food. The salmon and the veal dishes are delicious!

This restaurant does not have a liquor license so if you like having a cocktail before dinner not available here. Food was good but just as expensive as restaurants on 5th ave in naples without the atmosphere.
We went with friends to celebrate our anniversary tonight. It was one of the customer appreciation 50% off everything nights. The food was excellent! Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with our waiter , Jonathan. From the moment we sat down he was curt, impatient , unfriendly and unwelcoming. It was immediately clear to all 6 of us that he did not want to be there. The service was good and prompt, but his attitude really put a damper on our celebration. After dessert, we still had wine left in our bottles and he came over and put the cap on them, giving us the message that it was time to go. However, we weren’t ready to go. I think he ought to look for a different profession, because it was clear that he was not happy being a server. All that being said, thank you La Fontanella for an excellent meal!

My pasta order was served incorrectly. It was brought back to the kitchen. When it returned it was over sauced. Piping hot. And the pasta was not al dente. My guess it was put in a microwave. Whatever the cause the dish was poorly presented. My partner had a pasta dish that was also covered in much too sauce. This is a common issue here. Something you don’t find in Italy.

Worse pasta ever. Asked for it aldente. All three dishes were so soft they were inedible. Fell and broke apart when put the fork in it. Tasted like dishwater. Awful
