A wonderful surprise in this little gem of a square. We went for lunch as a couple for my partner's birthday. It was my first time there, but as soon as I walked in, I felt the place's history. The decor is very simple and immediately made us feel at ease. The lady's professionalism and experience guided us on a truly excellent gastronomic journey. A few tortelli broke during cooking, and I wouldn't have served them. I recommend the freshly baked torta di rose: the best dessert I've ever eaten: two consistencies, two temperatures, and not too sweet. You could eat a whole pan of it!!

We had a truly wonderful meal. A guarantee. A historic restaurant steeped in the Mantua-Cremonese culinary tradition, it thrives on modern and contemporary dishes. The menu is limited to three seafood options and three meat options across all areas (appetizers, first courses, and second courses). This isn't a limitation, but rather a major strength, as it demonstrates the constant pursuit of quality in both the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes. It's always nice to be able to watch the chefs at work thanks to the open kitchen. The wine list is very interesting and well-structured. Congratulations!

My favorite place! The staff is friendly and courteous! Superlative cuisine, where you can enjoy traditional dishes like Mantua pumpkin tortelli topped with butter and sage, or the amazing Torta delle Rose (a must-try!). You can also find modern dishes, but the starting point is always the quality ingredients used! Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money. Tasty and carefully prepared dishes. We chose fried anchovies with sweet and sour sauce, guancialino with polenta, and cod with avocado cream. Everything was delicious. Attentive and friendly service.

Ci siamo fermati per cena e devo dire che il locale internamente si presenta bene, molto bello e semplice, abbiamo ovviamente mangiato fuori per via delle normative, i piatti sono ottimi e di qualità, considerando che abbiamo mangiato pesce e siamo in mezzo campagna, forse forse le cozze non erano freschissime, ma per quanto riguarda la cresepella di baccalà e il branzino in crosta di erbe nulla da dire, molto buoni!! Il personale è simpatico e professionale! Sicuro se capitiamo ancora in zona, ritorneremo!

Ottimo per una pausa pranzo di lavoro, il posto è molto bello, il servizio non velocissimo. A pranzo è previsto un menù ristretto con prezzi perfettamente in linea con la qualità del prodotto. Le vie vicine al ristorante offrono molti parcheggi, sia gratuiti che a pagamento. Consiglio i pizzoccheri con zucca e guanciale!

Very interesting menu, I would have loved to try all the starters. The dishes are carefully prepared and of high quality. We each had an appetizer and a first course, and despite the wait between courses, we had a great time. Excellent wine selection, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was also beautiful, no doubt about it... definitely worth returning. I recommend it to everyone.

A pleasant discovery in Rivarolo Mantovano, a wine bar and restaurant overlooking the beautiful Piazza Finzi (a square that would undoubtedly be much more scenic and enjoyable if it didn't have a parking lot in its center). Returning to the wine bar, I was satisfied. The menu offers a variety of options, all appealing, both for starters and main courses. Everything was excellent, and I'd say it bucks the trend in terms of quantity (the dishes are generous). The staff was also professional and courteous. The owner was very welcoming and cheerful. Prices were average for the type of establishment.

My experience wasn't all that satisfying. The appetizers were perfect. My husband's first course, pumpkin tortelli, was undercooked and not hot. My second course, meat, was also not hot. My son's fish dishes were fine. The desserts were good. All in all, disappointing!!!
