If you are looking for some AUTHENTIC flavorful Jamaican food. This is the SPOT! I ordered some oxtails, jerk chicken, cabbage, plantains with rice and peas. I was not disappointed. The oxtail was flavorful and falling off the bone. I also loved the jerk sauce they had on the chicken. Most importantly, the portion is hefty! The food reminded me of home. I will DEFINITELY return!
Best Jamaica food I ever had ❤️ wonderful service
Took me lunch and dinner to finish thing. Jesus

I usually order the Fried Chicken, Steamed Vegetables, with Plantains. I have to say that combination is very good. The Fried Chicken is slamming. The soups of all flavors are good. The Curry is goat is delicious and so is the Oxtails.
I always heard of this place everyone is talking about that have the best Fried Chicken, Jerk Chicken and Oxtail. I finally went there last week I'm telling you I should have visited there sooner this is the best Jamaican food I've tasted in a long time. This is my favorite spot from now on.

Great jerk chicken, excellent steamed cabbage, and most important........... Outstanding customer service from the 2 wonderful ladies in the evening shift.

The food was great but the cashier is very slow. She was the only one on the counter and it took forever. I had the curry chicken, rice and peas with steamed vegetables. I gave it four stars because it was very slow.

My friend told me about the cow foot soup on Thursday and everyone have different taste but I promise u that soup was very very good and more
Need to serve more options of fresh veggies and not just the cabbage. Need macaroni & cheese because what west Indian spot doesnt have this? Also my escaveitch fish was SUPER dry. Curry goat & oxtail were good tho
The Food is indeed Good!! However, the more mature woman dark brown, with glasses is all types of RUDE!! She needs to Smile More and give Less Attitude! Everything is a problem/issue. Not sure if she is the owner and that's why she is in the front greeting (Yeah Right) serving food but if Not send her to the back to help prepare food! Not a good look to have this employee be the face of your business!

The food is so damn good here! The curry goat meat falls off the bone, the oxtail is savory and delicious and I could go on but you catch my drift. The serving size is great as well. Definitely worth the money. Edit: the review was from 3+ years ago. I’m sorry but the food doesn’t taste good anymore. I’ve given it a couple of chances lately, and it’s just consistently not good. I’ll stick to the smokehouse and Golden Krust on 230th in Laurelton.

Wow. It's official! From around the end of summer the have changed cooks. Went from 100 to 0. And Uber eats never worked. I tried them 4x after I tasted the "new cooking" and it it's consistently unflavorful and not tasty like it used to be. The owner was the cook and was personable when you caught him not cooking and lurking around. I used to find myself here at least 2-3x/wk ordering a lot of food for the family. Not even the soup is worth making that long trip now. Nothing left to say besides Smokehouse is pretty much the last good Jamaican spot in that area. If I'm wrong please let me know of some other spots.
This was my second time there and I’m not going back. The first was just for some porridge and I was in and out. Porridge was ok. My second visit I got the stew chicken and the first thing I was greeted with was a lot of attitude because I asked where the menu was. They have two big tv screens but they are not on with the menu instead they write it on a barely visible book sized mark board. I got stew chicken with white rice which honestly is one of the easiest things to make as a Jamaican. After I started eating I noticed a strange taste at the first bite. It was very off putting. I pulled the chicken apart to find out it was raw. The rice tasted like it was old and not washed. As a Jamaican I gotta say this was the worst tasting Jamaican takeout I’ve ever had.
Tried to come here. I reach at 8:17 place says its closed 9. Its 8:17 and already closed.
I have been ordering from here since they FIRST opened and normally everything is good. Ordered today and the food had no flavor. I found out they changed chefs.... they need to bring the original chef back. Honestly I can’t even finish my food due to how it lack flavor. I should have went to smokehouse smh.
People in the restaurant don't know how to speak to their customers and the food is never ready and customers service never seem to know when the food will be ready with the nastiest attitude ever even in coronation market you find better customers service (coronation market is a market in downtown Kingston Jamaica for those who don't know..) My most recent visit to jerk pan on Springfield and murdock was horrible . I was served spoiled cabbage , expired jerk wings and the rice smelled funny as well
Over price for the food . And not too friendly. Order a mideum jerk chicken and rice Cut up the one chicken leg and keep back 2 pices .
