I don't pick up iced coffee's out much but once in a while, when I do I go here and get either a large light ice less sweet Vietnamese coffee, soy matcha or the Black and Tan drink. Drinks are good here and if you use the app you get leaf rewards that you can earn to get free drinks too.
Love 7 Leaves as one of my go-to boba chains that are here in the South Bay. This location is conveniently off the 17 which makes it a perfect stopover whenever I am heading back to Santa Cruz. What sets them apart from other shops is the quality of their teas. They use high quality tea leaves to brew their tea and you can build your own with whichever milks, flavorings, and toppings you desire. I usually go with their Assam Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Boba. Always go half sugar because they already use a lot of sweetener and this was a perfect amount. My drink was prepared well and very satisfying. The shop itself is relaxing and chill. There's lots of room to do work or meet somebody. Highly recommend this 7 Leaves!
I usually order hot one in person, but today I ordered cold jasmine milk tea online. And when I picked up my order it was already placed, but one of the staff asked me to check if I had ordered cold one, not hot one, for double check. She just remembered my usual order and name! She is so attentive. An amazing staff!
My partner and I come here every weekend to get coffee or Thai Tea. I really like their house coffee and my partner always gets the Vietnamese coffee. The mochi cakes are tasty and it’s a cute place to study in.
I didn't rate the food cause I'm not usually stopping by to eat. Their are snacks here but not the normal meals. That would be a great addition,... some popcorn chicken. Drinks here are pretty good and about standard as far as pricing. Overall, a good spot to grab some boba type drinks.
My favorite 7 leaves location! Always gets my Japanese Matcha Soy correct. As someone who doesn’t like boba and always orders their drinks without, I can say my friends who do like boba are always excited to come with me because there’s something we both like :)
I like their mung bean milk tea. This place has the best macarons in town, as good as Laduree. Service was nice, drinks were made quickly. If you don't like it too cold, remember to order with less ice.
I love going to new places and trying different Vietnamese coffees. I really enjoyed the taste of their Vietnamese coffee, it hit the spot with strong flavors and wasn't too sweet. Tldr: Will drink Vietnamese coffee here again.
Quick service, delicious macaroons, nice flowers and vibe inside, and cute sitting area. I haven’t seen a seven leaves with food items unless I don’t pay attn, but this one has a bunch of macaron flavors and pastries. Thanks for let turn me try the taro before ordering. They also have a BOGO deal before 11AM for a limited time.
7 leaves is my favorite boba spot in San Jose. I love it due to its rich flavor in their Thai tea. My go to order is a Thai tea, light ice, with their subtle yet sweet honey boba. All their ingredients taste fresh and natural and their app is very convenient if you go there often. I truly can’t find a Thai tea like it and wish I knew the recipe!
A modern looking Asian boba drink store. The average price is about $5 dollar per drink, then you have some bakery to complement if you like. The seating is comfortable, the staff is friendly.
7 Leaves Cafe is quite a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is immaculate for quiet studying and/or work - a benefit that truly shines as a result of this shop's relative youth. The drink options are quite agreeable, and the boba's consistency rivals that of the nearby Teaspoon location in the Pruneyard, although you might find the menu to be a tad less diverse. I would recommend this cafe for anyone wishing to get some work done in an environment conducive to lower ambient volume. I elected to try their thai tea with boba. It did not particularly stand out to me against other shops, nor did it disappoint in any capacity; with that said, it becomes clear the main draw of this location is the ambience. Think my favorite part of this boba spot is the fact it's relatively unknown and not subject to a high amount of foot traffic like some of the other local shops, which is what makes it such a great place to work and/or study. Another benefit of this is that the dining area is extremely clean ... something that I can always appreciate when considering boba shops.
Very cozy and clean little shop, very friendly staff and fast service! The sunset passion fruit tea, Japanese matcha tea were tasty, ume mochi was delicious! House coffee was not too bad!
Came into this coffee shop as i was craving vietnamese coffee. Ordered a cold brew with extra 2 shots and was phenomenal! Would come again. But just a heads up, they put A LOT of ice in the cold brew. I ordered a second one with eazy ice and was a better selection. The hot coffee only comes in one size, which is a bummer as my gf likes hot brews. Also, parking can be a little tricky as it shares with other businesses.
Staffs here are super friendly and felt welcoming and their coffee quality is always consistentl. My go to for coffee addiction.

the mung bean milk tea was perfect! reminded me of a dessert i’d have back home and less sugar was the perfect sweetness level. tapioca was also cooked well
Great experience! I came and tried to order an Assam milk tea but accidentally misspoke and said oolong instead. I offered to pay for another drink for my mistakes but Noah went right ahead and just remade the drink for me. I'll be back!
Some of the best Thai Tea with honey boba I’ve had in a lot time. So rich and sweet, and it took less than a minute for my drink to come. Really clean and quiet store as well. Definitely my new favorite boba place.
They have great service. I came in 5 minutes before closing on Nov 24, 2025 and there was a promotion and they took care of me! They went above and beyond. Great tea. Great service.

Service was quick here. Nice place to hangout. We had a mung bean drink which was too sweet. The croissant felt not fresh, something reheated multiple times. However the cream cheese garlic bread bun was good.
The iced coffee had so much sugar in it that I couldn't take beyond two sips.. Not even sure how it is humanly possible to take in that much sugar. A bit pricey too ($5.25) for a regular sized iced sugar with coffee. It was open until 10pm and the internet was good, and there was an open seat, so that's a big +.
A friend of mine ordered me a Thai tea. Simple and sweet, tasted super delici-oh-so!! And the caffeine got my heart to redline!!! Lol good stuff
Stopped by to get some boba drink. Service was quick and drink is good.

Got the house coffee hot. Salt cream was a nice surprise. Cashier let me know that it tends to be a little sweet and asked me if I wanted to make any adjustments so I made it slightly less sweet which turned out to be a great suggestion

This café is a great spot for those who need a quiet place to work or study. The atmosphere is tailored for productivity, with no background music playing, which ensures that you can focus without distractions. The seating mainly consists of chairs and tables, making it easy to set up your laptop or spread out your study materials. There are also a few armchairs available if you prefer a more comfortable seating option for longer sessions. One downside is the limited pastry selection, so if you’re planning to stay for an extended period, you might want to bring your own snacks or plan to eat elsewhere. However, the café does offer a selection of bubble teas, which are worth trying. I recommend the strawberry hibiscus—it’s refreshing and has just the right balance of sweetness. On the other hand, the sunset passion was overly sweet for my liking, so it might not appeal to everyone. The customer service was standard—nothing particularly memorable, but the staff was polite and efficient. Overall, while this café may not be the best spot for socializing or hanging out with friends, it’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for a quiet, focused environment to work or study.
I've been here twice now and it's just too sweet. I also can't taste the tea flavor much in the milk tea, which was disappointing. I've tried the assam milk tea and jasmine milk tea and both times it tastes like sugary milk (even on lowest level sweet).
Place is nice with a good parking area. The Brazilian lemonade is refreshing, pastries are good as well; although the customer service is very poor, not a simple smile or a welcoming gesture. They don’t even say thank you for your business. I got better customer service at the regular convenience store. The new generation is lacking many things including customer service. Very sad !!! I won’t be back.
I have no problems with drinks there, but it is just the service and the employees who are rude and unprofessional. Every time I go, I think to myself, "Should I stop coming?". I hope the management trains the employees in the right way.
First of all, there was only one worker for the cashier AND making the drinks for everyone. A bit of a wait but that's a given with only one worker so can't blame them. But 7 leaves overall just gives 50% ice in their cups even if you ask for less ice. I pay $0.80 extra for custard pudding topping and I always get a sliver of topping in my drink. Not sure if that's just the company's standard measurement given to their workers now but they definitely need to go back to giving toppings that fill 1/4 of the cup. Although the flavor of the mung bean tea is great, the price does not reflect the amount of drink you receive. $6.90 for a large

I really enjoy Seven Leaves for the quality of the drinks, especially the green Thai tea and house coffee, which are consistently excellent. The drinks are great, but the portions of their toppings are smaller than those at similar shops. I’ve been a regular at this location for about a year and often stay to work since the seating and atmosphere are great for studying or getting things done. That said, the customer service at this location could use improvement. On many occasions, I’ve waited at the counter while staff were in the back preparing drinks or cleaning, which leads to me having to call out toward the back to get someone’s attention, or even to ask for the bathroom code. There is an automatic bell at the entrance when customers come in, but it doesn’t seem to prompt staff to come to the counter quickly. A more consistent front-of-house presence could improve the experience. I also frequently place larger orders (usually 3-4 drinks at a time) and have previously noted in the mobile app that I would like the order bagged so the drinks don’t tip over in my car. During my most recent visit, this note was overlooked which is understandable, but when I asked for a bag, the staff hurriedly grabbed one and tossed it at me on the counter without any acknowledgment and rushed away. This has happened multiple times before with different staff members, where a bag is just tossed at me and they immediately leave to the back area without a word. I understand that they are busy, but it feels like there is a lack of courtesy and kindness that feels rushed, unwelcoming, and dismissive. With more attentiveness and warmer customer interactions this location could better match its excellent products with equally strong service.

Jasmine milk tea had a stale fridge taste. Not appetizing
Drinks too overly sweet(and I'm usually someone to like sweet things). My tea I got full sweet, and it was drinkable but nothing impressive. Other places have better flavors/quality imo. My wife got no sugar, and it was almost as sweet as mine, it got thrown out because it was undrinkable to her and i didn't want to save any more mediocre milk tea for later.
I got taro milk ! It didn’t taste good! This is my second time at 7 leaves and I am done. It taste just milk and water. I am also not comfortable with the service as I felt all they care is only about tips which is quite unfortunate because I did takeout. I won’t be returning.
Really want to love this place... Love the vibe, it's got a great, relaxing hip environment. Walked in mid afternoon, tired and in need of caffeine and sugar boost. I really wanted a milk tea with caffeine and fruit, like a strawberry milk tea or maybe a black tea with a fruit base. Even after explaining in detail I wanted caffeine in any form with a black or similar tea and some sort of fruit based tea drink, the young man behind the counter was confused, bewildered and suffering that "deer in the headlight" look. He could only say no, we don't have that. I asked him if we could get creative and combine or make an off menu tea drink and he wasn't getting it. He could have made suggestions, offered alternatives but all I got was "sorry".... Disappointed and still tired, I ordered my daughter her drink and I headed to TeaZone for a tried and true, mainstream black tea with fruit syrup and boba. For me it wasn't working, maybe you're mileage will be different but between their staff with poor/limited communication skills and a small, seemingly inflexible menu, I won't be going back. TeaZone, Happy Lemon to name a few offer more standardized, mainstream boba tea drinks not to mention larger menu offerings, I don't understand how 7 Leaves positions themselves in the market with their smaller, different menu.
Alright place for drinks though leaned a bit on the sweet side for me , 0/5 on seasonal matcha mochi with blueberries, first mochi tasted more like pandan flavor also frosting on top ugh way over sweet . With half being frosting

I asked for the taro milk tea and I could barely taste the taro flavor. I asked the worker for less ice and she gave me almost half of the cup with ice. I have tried so much better drinks in other places, plus I feel it doesn't worth it the price I payed for this drink full of ice.

Recently, I stop by to use some of my reward points. I had to place my order online. Not something I've ever done at other locations, whatever. But then my order was ignored, and called 2 whole orders after my drinks were placed on the counters behind the register. Then I was asked what I am waiting for, my order..... then my order was messed up, they did not get my macarons. I was annoyed to say the least. I will not be back to this location.
Very sad to give a negative review to 7 leaves!! We came on Sunday of last week (26th of Nov) between 3-4 pm, I drink my coffee hot- anyyy type, no sugar. I asked the barista about a couple of options she said they are cold and have sugar. I asked her about anything else no sugar and hot she said no we don’t have. I said fine and asked about the herbal tea, she said it’s herbal. I asked what’s the flavor of it ? Is it green? Black? Like tell me what is it! The girl seriously was having the same straight face and she was literally giving the answers of No or repeating it ‘it’s herbal’! You know what? I was willing to get anyyyy answer just to go ahead and order anything, at this point I didn’t mind to drink something I hate but to get seated and spend time there because I already went out specifically for coffee with my family! The rudeness of the barista made me say ok I’m out, I asked my husband what he’s gonna order he said ok let’s leave, if you won’t order something! It makes sense— I’ll be sitting and not even ordering anything? Why did I go for coffee in the first place. At this point we decided to leave. It’s so awkward to me because I’ve been to 7 leaves before and I can recall I was able to find anyyyy hot drink for myself :) it’s just a hot beverage! I’m not asking for anything special! Basics !!! I was v disappointed, I ended up at another coffee place- you know what, I even wouldn’t have minded drinking something I totally don’t enjoy just if the service was a bit professional! Never again and sorry to say so— it used to be a place I love and have good memories at…
They used to be good and we love their milk tea. And then from about a month ago, no one even regularly check if there is anyone waiting to order! Not busy hour, no one waiting for their milk tea, they just hide at back and no one come to accept the order. This is defiantly ridiculous, and of course this happened a few times already! We just gave up and choose somewhere else!
The guy workers provide good courteous service, I always tip them well. The girls all have attitude and act like they are entitled. Girl, you work in a boba shop, take it down a notch. Those attitude = no tip
On August 31st at around 9:30 PM, I visited your location and ordered a Passion Fruit and a Brazilian Lemonade. When placing my order, I specifically requested easy ice for both drinks. However, when I received them, one cup was about 65% ice and the other was about 40% ice. When I pointed this out to the staff member, she simply responded that “this is how we do easy ice.” That explanation was unacceptable. To make matters worse, I noticed that the large and regular sizes had the same amount of juice, with the large cup simply having more ice to fill the space. This feels dishonest and disrespectful to customers who are paying extra for a larger size. This experience left me very disappointed. As a customer, I expect transparency and respect. What happened instead felt like cheating and poor customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers don’t face the same situation.
And YES I'm going to leave a review here too and anywhere else I can find! While I typically love 7 Leaves, I think today will be my last time going to this location. I usually go exclusively to 7 Leaves out of all the other tea shops around here because I think they have a great Rewards system but today was highly disappointing. I would like to start by saying this has nothing to do with the staff onsite at all. They were both lovely and did their best to try and make an awkward situation less awkward. They also tried to help me troubleshoot on the app as well so kudos to them! This message is directly for the management. I got a reward offer a couple of days ago of which I assume was related to a Retention Marketing campaign. They wanted me to come back and spend $5 on an online order and I would receive a free Sea Cream Black coffee. It said it would expire in 6 days so I decided to go today as I only had a couple days left. I was having trouble getting the offer to redeem and couldn’t get it to reflect in the cart when I tried to check out. So, I went into this Campbell location and asked if the cashier could help me. Of course we both struggled trying to figure it out, so it was suggested that if I complete a drink order it should give me the free drink. And guess what? I ordered 2 drinks which was double the minimum amount and there was still no way to get the free drink to work. Once all of our efforts failed, another staff member ended up contacting their manager, which is where it got interesting. Unfortunately to my disappointment, the management reported back and said that the reward was invalid due to a possible error in the app from Corporate. The staff let me know that there wasn’t anything they could do, which I assume is due to management not wanting to redeem the offer for the ONE drink. Now, I get there can be errors in communication between corporate and the individual franchises, but the way management handled this was pathetic. The Marketing Campaigns/Rewards are a way to get customers in the door, like myself, and for them to disregard that after I already spent my money is even more pathetic. It was like I paid them money to inconvenience me. And again I’d like to reiterate, the staff were extremely lovely! The management is just wack! Don’t get fooled by the reward system and don’t spend your money unless you can ensure you will get the bonus reward if that is what you’re there for! The management will seemingly take the greedy route regardless. Sincerely, A former repeat customer who has also attended a couple of other 7 Leaves Grand Openings around San Jose to support the community!
