Highly recommend that you order several dishes to share. Well-designed interior. Super friendly and efficient service. Large free parking lot nearby.

Casual lively restaurant serving fusion with asian/mexican influence. Ordered the hamachi tataki, liked the spiciness of chiltrpin chile. Loved the Triple B- bacon caramelised with brown sugar and black pepper served with biscuit with honey butter.

Orchard City Kitchen is a culinary standout! Every dish we ordered was a perfect balance of creativity and flavor. The green tostada was vibrant, fresh, and full of unexpected pops—crispy, creamy, and topped with bright herbs and chili for the perfect bite. The mac and cheese skillet? Absolutely addictive. Creamy, cheesy, perfectly baked, and finished with just the right amount of crunch and a hint of heat from the peppers on top. The vibe is lively but relaxed, and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell the team here is passionate about great food and presentation. Perfect spot for a date night or group dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu!

We celebrated our kid's 18th birthday here with family, seated out in the patio on a balmy summer evening. it was a wonderful experience. Our server was friendly all evening, recommending dishes, checking in on us, and taking several group photos--including taking the time to take a group picture just outside the restaurant. The menu doesn't look very big, but the variety of special plates stood out -- there are very few run-of-the-mill dishes here. Popular among our party were these main dishes: Kuro Wagyu New York steak, Roasted Bone Marrow, Hokkaido Scallops, and ...oh my gosh, the Berkeley Pork Chop with red curry, honey, and almonds was killer. I would come back just for this plate! The starters/share plates were also unique and worthy: garlic noodles, Burrato Tartine, Hungarian Longos, and their house specialty -- "Triple B" Bacon, Biscuits & honey, and Butter. Maybe the desserts were a bit generic and underwhelming given the robust main menu--but we didn't come for the desserts. We'll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic! We came here for a birthday dinner and loved it. The service was great and so was the food. Highly recommend: pea fritters (amazing flavor), lamb riblets (so tender!), scallops, and garlic noodles! Skip: tempura mushrooms and duck dumplings (not very flavorful/interesting)

Finally had the chance to go back to Orchard City Kitchen and it did not disappoint. The food was creative, yummy, and presented artfully. The seasonal menu was elevated but not pretentious. No complaints about the drinks or food whatsoever! The dumplings and the riblets were our favorites. Cheyenne our waitress was awesome. She was very attentive and friendly even for a busy Mother's Day evening. It was my dining companion's first visit to OCK. Thank you for making it a magical and memorable evening!

Today, I had the delightful experience of dining at OCK for the first time, and it was nothing short of fantastic! Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with flavors and aromas that were simply irresistible. It felt like a delicious indulgence! In fact, it was the first time we didn’t even ask for boxes for our leftovers because we enjoyed everything so much. While the portions seemed small at first, they turned out to be perfect for sharing with family and friends. We walked in with empty stomachs and left feeling wonderfully satisfied—truly an experience to remember! I can’t wait to return!

Went to Orchard City Kitchen with a friend and shared wonderful food while catching up over a two-hour lunch! The garlic noodles with a 63-degree egg, udon, sesame oil, and oyster sauce had quite an interesting tang, but the fry bread with chimmichurri, cultured cream, and white cheddar cheese—WOW. That was amazingly good. The taco salad and roasted broccoli rabe were no slouches either. Definitely a good spot for luxuriating over your meal!

We came here for a wednesday lunch. The menu was kinda cutesy secured in a tri-fold format using animal/plant (fish and carrot) colorful paper clips. We ordered some small and larger plates and consumed them family style. The service was friendly. The Harry Potter themed cocktails were surprising. I chose a Pale Ale on draft. Our favorites were the crab gougere (very large puff) and pea fritters (these are ordered @). Next favorites were the burger (check the cross-sectional view) which would have scored higher if it was served hot/warmer as well as the unique roasted coned cabbage side dish. The wings and blackened avocado salad were disappointing scoring a meh (3). We do like the ability to order many different things and experience the fun presentation and flavors. And, I hear the menu is seasonal so we might be back.

Came here for a second time after like 15 years. It's just as good and pricey as I remembered it. Made a reservation days ahead online and was seated promptly for lunch on a Saturday. Good sized restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating (heated). Tables are spaced out nicely so there's decent privacy. The menu isn't huge, but it's got a nice variety. We were able to order off both the brunch and lunch menus. We ordered the triple B $14, KFC $16, scallop carpaccio $21, and Loco moco $25.50. The triple B and scallops were fantastic and were the best dishes. Both unique and well thought out. The Loco moco was pretty decent too and a big portion, aside from the patty being sort of burnt. The KFC was the most basic, underwhelming dish. Nothing special and very saucy. Would not get that one again. Food came out relatively quickly. Quality ingredients and nice presentation. Service was okay. The price is on the higher end, but the portions were actually quite reasonable. Casual restaurant. I would go back since their menu changes often. Parking can be difficult but it's a large lot and free as well. Worth a visit

The food here was decent. There were some dishes that were really good, and others that were very underwhelming. The burger and the Triple B were delicious. The mac and cheese had an interesting flavor that I can't say I'm a fan of. Would definitely try it again to give it another chance after a menu change.

1st time🥇 Food: 10/10 Winter citrus salad 🍊 : celebrating citrus season with orange and grapefruit over radicchio. Bursting with fresh herbs and nuts. 6/10 Lamb riblets : these needed to be served at a hotter temp. That aside, I ate more of the pineapple, cucumber, onions than the lamb (and I LOVE lamb but not this). 7/10 Dumplings 🥟 : solid but not a standout (I don’t even remember what they taste like) 9/10 Bacon 🥓 Butter 🧈 Biscuits : the bacon and the BUTTER were the best parts. Candied thick-cut bacon. Whipped honey butter. The biscuits weren’t dry but still 1-2 minutes over. Service: Service was friendly. They came back around to check on us regularly. Atmosphere: Farmhouse style decor matched the farm-to-table menu. Very lively with music and people inside. We sat outside on the patio near a tree and a railing lined with flowers, even the patio was intentional. Table-height propane heaters kept us warm on a chilly day.

The service and the vibes were great, but the food was lacking. To be fair, the beef ribs plate was delicious, albeit small and lacking more mashed potatoes for the portion size. Drinks were also tasty. A bit overpriced, but ok. But that was it. All the other plates we tried were small, had issues, and were crazy overpriced. The duck, for example. It came with no sides, and a runny sauce in a flat plate with no edges! We were more concerned about not making a mess than enjoying the food. The bone marrow pasta was another huge disappointment: barely any flavor of bone marrow, tasteless dried pasta, and a presentation that made it feel like a reheated dish. I was still going to give it 4 stars until I tried the dessert. I was so excited about eating the pumpkin queijada! I saw it on the desserts/sweets part of the menu and I planned my meal around it. But well, the menu lied and it was absolutely not a “sweet”. Instead, it was a savory dish, with a way too intense cheese that completely took away some great flavors from the pumpkin. I left there $200 poorer and thinking I should’ve chosen a different restaurant to celebrate my anniversary.

I really want to like this place. Really. But after several disappointing trips, this one lost us. Aran might have been busy, but with what looked like a 3 tables (granted there were three tables in various states of being bussed throughout our experience) he was just terrible. We asked some questions about the menu and a couple items and ordered a martini dirty. He offered lemon twist or olives and she chose olives. A little while later a hamachi tataki arrived. Yes it was one of the items we asked about, but nothing wrong ordered. We were going to have the cassoulet and the squash, but we didn't get around to ordering. By the time we finished he dropped off the martini with a lemon twist and no olives (?!?) Then walked away without touching the very empty plate or asking if we wanted to order anything else. By the time he came back around and we were still hungry we were frustrated and pretty much wanted to leave. I asked about the olives and the bill and a few minutes later, we got the olives and nothing else. It took another flag down to get the bill much later than that. I want to like ock. We need more good, local food options that are better than the generic chains popping up, but so far this hasn't been it, today reminded me why.

Besides our waiter, who was very kind and professional, this restaurant was very disappointing. We had to send one meal back, a plate of carrots, which were cold and practically raw, and numerous other dishes were very underwhelming. The ambience is horrible with the acoustics making everything extremely loud, the lighting too bright and the decor very bare. For that price point, the meals should be much more gourmet, portion size larger and should be more suitable for an intimate experience. Finally, their endorsement of Harry Potter in their drink menu was not only tacky, but also supporting J. K. Rowling, a vehement anti-LGBTQ hatemonger, is extremely offensive
