I absolutely feel this place can satisfy anyone. There are so many things to eat that you can't ever imagine getting through all of their choices. The different areas you can choose from. I ate here mostly breakfast but was here for all the times. The staff is on their game with making you feel served. Friendliest people you'll ever meet.

The lobster was terrific. The staff is terrific. I ate here twice during my vacation.

Seafood restaurant by the beach, is 1 of the a la carte restaurants at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. We dined there everyday during our week's stay. Food so good, service so attentive, staff very friendly

Comida deliciosa, Xiunel me recomendó el tiradito y estuvo delicioso!!! Lo recomiendo ampliamente con el carpaccio se atún. Muy buena atención por parte de Xiunel y Sergio, atención excelente, muchas gracias!

Only came here during lunch for the buffet so this review is based off that. FAVORITE restaurant out of the whole resort. Normally I’m not a buffet person but I’m glad they had this option. Best part of the buffet: the pasta station. You choose what you want in your pasta, the type of pasta, & the sauce you want. I always did peas, mushroom, onion, and ham with alfredo sauce, a sprinkle of chili pepper. Ughh that pasta is SO GOOD. Much better than the pasta at the italian restaurant… Also, the lemon sorbet at the dessert station.. REFRESHING! The whole week I was there, I had a routine of food I would get: salad, pasta, lemon sorbet. Definitely best place for lunch out of the whole resort in my opinion.

Chef Ivan helped me navigate celiac safe, gluten free options here. He made me a cheeseburger and fries one day, as well as fresh chicken from the back. The nachos at the buffet looked simple but they are a MUST try!!

Always look for Margarita at the grill and get the fried rice. It is sooo good. I got it every single day. The lobster in the evening is amazing

A great restaurant for lobster and fish ... During the day the items they offer at the Mar House buffet vary from day to day, and our favorites were the meats and fish off the grill and the various cevices. The dinner menu includes an amazing whole broiled lobster, and an excellent tuna carpaccio. Service was always prompt and excellent.

Mar House was great for dinner! Lobster tails for days along with an above average rib eye and big tiger shrimps. My wife loved their mussels.

This restaurant is located in the Majestic Elegance Resort. This restaurant hosted the welcome dinner for the wedding I attended. The food was good. I had the Salmon. They were sure to ask about any food allergies which was great. The salad was ok. The drinks were good.

Beautiful restaurant, but the food is just ok. I do prefer the lunch buffet over the dinner. My main favorite was the grilled squid during the lunch buffet. Lobster tail at dinner was pretty good. Did get eaten alive by mosquitos inside the restaurant at dinner.

Seafood centric restaurant within the resort. The grill has great options during lunch and dinner, including mahi mahi, sea bass, lobster and other seafood plates. 🦞🦀

Good selection of food. Hot and cold aswell as Pizza. The drink selection isn’t as great as the rest of the resort and after a certain time you can’t get a hot drink. But apart from that amazing food and brilliant staff ! Can’t wait to return for dinner.

The buffet food is alright. The dinner was very good! We had the surf and turf - the steak was excellent. The fish and chips were great. However, the lobster was not good/fresh.

Good service and atmosphere. However food did not really match appearance. Seafood soup tasted like the water used to wash the seafood. Grilled lobster was very disappointing, 3 tiny overcooked 'lobsters' with mushy meat. Shrimp and lobster tail however was good.

The lunch buffet was always great and full of choices. But unfortunately this is the only dinner restaurant I have a complaint about. The one night we came here for dinner we waited for nearly 2hrs to get our food. Once we finally did, some of our food was completely burnt and some of our food was raw. Having said that our server was as good as could possibly be, and did their best to make up for the kitchen errors and we also don't want that overlooked

My least favourite restaurant of the resort. We went twice to make sure the first time wasn’t an off service and to give a fair review. The food is not bad but the service is terrible, the restaurant is dark and very congested.

Food is simply bland and cold. Steaks were not cooked correctly. This post is based on 5 separate occasions.

Food was overall good but their service is super slow and it seems like they are understaffed. We got the fish and chips and marinara mussels, the mussels were super good but their fish and chips was stale. They also forgot our appetizer soup which we later asked for and still did not receive it. For the main course we got the salmon fillet and the Caribbean special. The flavors were good but small portions.

Waiting over an hour is fine but the food tasted like soap. All 4 stood up and ran. Actually went to the buffet. No passion no service not even a person to make tacos.

The lunch buffet was great but the a la cart dinner was super nasty.
