Nos atendió Abel todo ok muy atento, la comida es abundante y muy rica, fresca. El lugar es muy lindo con toda la onda. Lo único que le faltaría es un vestuario con ducha para poder cambiarse para no volver mojado al ferry.

Excelente atención, especialmente la de La Willy en la playa, recomendación los seco hrs el de camarón con pulpo, la cerveza bien fría, calma total en la playa.

Estuvimos 4 días consecutivos y la verdad que la atención fue excelente! Los primeros 2 días nos atendió Nacho, el tercero Willy y el cuarto Teo! Destacamos la atención de los 3, muy atentos y muy buena predisposición 👏🏻👏🏻 Si leen esto gracias por su atención

Tuve una experiencia muy agradable. La comida estaba deliciosa, el servicio fue rápido y muy amable. El ambiente es cómodo y tranquilo. Sin duda regresaría y lo recomiendo totalmente,gracian al mesero kalin.

Carlos, Will, Yesi y Emi todos se sacaron un 100!!! Todos super ambles! El Mejor Bar y la Mejor comida de Playa Norte! Cerveza Fria! Y las Mezcalitas Perfectas!! La Vista Hermosa a el Mar. hicieron unas nuevas decoraciones muy bonitas y el baño lo renovaron…y quedo muy Bonito. Si la gente se queja es por Que no entiended Que la Vibra en Isla Mujeres es diferente. Bar El Buho es para relajar y disfrutar de tu bebida/comida. No es de Que andale rapido rapido sirvanme. We had lots of great experiences at Buhos during our visit. The setting is incredible and the decor is charming. We had breakfast there daily as part of our stay at a nearby hotel; the coffee was good, and the morning staff was extremely attentive in accommodating my child's food allergy. We had lunch there once and the tacos were delicious, again with very attentive staff who still let us enjoy our table on the beach as long as we wanted. Several times we had cocktails at the beach bar in the afternoon, which were better than the next bar on the beach. There was a live band in the afternoon that was great. Prices are high in this area in general, but Buhos was comparable or a little less than its competitors on the beach. The staff was so friendly and attentive, it really made it a pleasant place to go, especially Eva, Carlos, and the afternoon beach bartender in the visor.

I was a bit discouraged by the Google rating, but the group wanted to eat here because of the proximity to the beach. The food turned out to be delicious and nicely presented. The dishes were large and filling. Prices are higher than in an average restaurant- but that’s because of the location and the beach. You could even sit barefoot with your feet in the sand. The staff were helpful and present- also very helpful later when getting a receipt for foreigners.

One of the best fried fish I have had in years. Miguel was our waiter and he did an excellent job. Requested habanero/lime salsa, which was fresh and perfect for the fish. 10/10 recommend. The beach bar had very slow service but when we moved to the dining area Miguel was quick and very friendly.

I had an amazing experience enjoying lobster at the beach! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. What really made the experience even better was our server, Wily. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Between the beautiful beachside setting, the mouthwatering food, and Wily’s excellent service, it was truly a memorable dining experience. 10/10! Would claw back again!

Me and my husband had a great time at this little beach club, the live music was very entertaining but not too loud, the food was amazing and very well portioned. the service was okay, it wasn’t bad but it would take a little bit till we were able to locate our server but overall a great experience.

Fun beach vibes and good food! After spending a great day on the beach and catching the bikini contest, we stopped by Buho’s Beach Bar & Restaurant for some beers and dinner. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The food was good – a bit pricey, but the service made it worth it. Just a heads-up: you’ll need cash, so be prepared. Great spot to enjoy the beach life on Isla Mujeres

Great place to beach in this gorgeous place! We arrived around 10am and place was mostly empty. They rent out sun lounges for 450$ (2 lounges + 1 umbrella + 2 bottles of cold water) or beds for 500$. They mention you must buy food and drinks as well but no one came to force us to do it. We did however proactively order food and drinks so that’s probably why. The food was delivered straight on the beach, it was really good and abundant. Priced reasonably for the place, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 huge burritos and an immense plate of nachos for 990$

We stayed at The hotel that is attached to this bar/restaurant. You get a free breakfast but in my opinion, is not the greatest but it is food. The free breakfast is 2 prices of toast, coffee and orange juice. Instead of the free breakfast, I got the sandwich club without the egg and it came with fries. I can say that this sandwich combo was filling and very good. I ate it in the am and was good until the evening. This is the only thing I’ve ate here beside the free not so good breakfast. The restaurant is right on the beach under some shade so you will fill the heat from outside and sand on your feet. The staff was somewhat friendly. The food took some time to get to us but no longer that any other place we’ve eaten at. I wish I would of tried something ese but I’m a picky eater and found what I liked and stuck with it.

This restaurant serves and maintains the umbrellas in front of the beach. Get there early if you trying to get an umbrella. There's a cost for it but I wouldn't want to be stuck in the sun on a hot day. These umbrellas provide full restaurant service and they'll take everything out to you. Place accepts cards and I highly recommend it. Also everything on the island shuts down like around 6 so after that you are left with no umbrella but at that point the sun is setting.

Another great spot to just sit down and relax. Theres plenty of parking spots for your go-cart, and loads of random seating scattered across the beach that you don’t need to pay for. The service was kind of slow at the bar, but it was not a huge problem since we were just getting Mexican waters. Afterwards, we went back to our seats and enjoyed the nice sunset with the silhouettes of men with assault rifles. The true Mexican experience.

Beautiful place! We rented a chair and umbrella for $30 (full day). There are vendors walking around selling different items. We got a massage on the beach. We had to negotiate, but got it to $40/person for an hour. It was amazing. We did not order any food because we didn't hear many good things, but it smelled amazing. The water had some seaweed and was a little cloudy, but still beautiful. The water is pretty shallow. You have to go far out to get deep.

Beautiful location right in front of the beach. The food we had on the other hand not so great. We had the continental breakfast ($120 mx pesos, $6-7 US), which was complimentary with our hotel stay. It came with coffee, “orange juice”, and French toast. The best thing was the coffee. The orange juice was a mix of concentrated with actual juice 80/20. The French toast looked like a concoction for a kid. It had whip cream, a cherry , strawberry marmalade and chocolate drizzle. Too sweet even for my sweet tooth. So since my partner does not eat sweets, we ordered the house breakfast ($220 mx pesos/ $11 US), which is fried eggs on top of ham and cheese with mole on top, side of black refried beans and peasant potatoes. The beans are from a bag, the potatoes were good, the egg was okay. It’s an egg not much can be said about it. The mole was watered down and the cheese was okay. So will we return to this place, nope. There are some really great places on the Island where you can get a tasty breakfast for about the same price. As always different taste for different people. Try it out, you may or may not like it.

Sure it has a great location. You are sitting right in the sand of Playa Norte. We stopped here after a long day of travel wanting a drink and some food. We sat down and no one seemed really interested in waiting on us. I had to go up to the bar and then shortly after that someone came. The food was good. I had a shrimp Alfredo that was good and my wife had some shrimp as well that she really enjoyed. Overall the prices seemed high for what we got and it took a long time for us to get served and for the food to come.

Vinimos a alquilar el camastro aquí porque decía camastro y la sombrilla 150 por persona.. primero el mesero nos dijo que no la iba a poner porque había viento osea ya nos dijo que no y después porque faltaban 3 horas para cerrar.. 3 hs procura que esté bajo el sol? Luego en la caja dicen que 100 pesos es el camastro y con sombrilla 150. Le muestro mi ticket que dice camastros y sombrillas y me cambia la versión q es 150 más.. todo de muy mal trato.. pésimo el servicio con los camastros y la atención al cliente. No se dan a entender bien y te ponen excusas para no ayudarte

Si tienen ma oportunidad de venir a este lugar no lo hagan, para empezar para los canastros o algun otro alquiler forzosamente es en efectivo, costo $500 las camas y consumo mínimo de $500 por persona, no puedes consumir ningun alimento o bebida externo. Luego que alquilas el espacio, no va ningún mesero a atenderte, a llevarte el menú, si lo que ellos quieren es vender, pues no lo hacen. Les hable y tardaron 30 minutos en ir a atendernos, fueron hasta que saque un jugo, ahi si corrieron... los precios son parecidos a los demas lugares.. pero sinceramente si van no pidan michelada grande, que aparte de que cuesta $200 el mesero indica que es 1 Litro, mentira es un vasi de 1 Litro lleno de hielos y 1 latita de cerveza, no preguntan si con mucho hielo, poco o sin hielo. En los alimentos los nachos estan buenos y muy grandes, el ceviche de camarón mejor ni lo pidan, no tiene sabor, sabe a camaron descongelado. Luego pedimos jna coca cola $60 sin azúcar y segun ellos no tenian, ligth y tampoco, despues qje la pasan y la cobran dicen ayy! Si tenia, pero ya no la puedo cancelar porque ya la pase... realmente es muy mala su atención, muy lentos en la atención, no te dan lo que quieres, no tienen regaderas, los baños estan en buenas condiciones. Mi experiencia fue bastante mala. No regresaría.. ah y todavía a la hora de cobrar dice que cobro mal sus cuentas y te da la cuenta de otra mesa..

Un timo real. Intentan estafar al turista. Primero nos dijeron 450 pesos las hamacas y un plato y bebida por persona. Luego 450 pesos las hamacas más un plato y dos bebidas. Luego 450 pesos más 500 pesos en consumiciones libre. Hasta que llegamos y viene el señor que cobra y dice que son 450 más 1000 pesos. Además a los de al lado no les dejaron pagar por 3 personas, obligaban o dos o cuatro. La comida no tenía buena pinta. Todo mal. Al lado tenéis opción de alquilar solo las hamacas a 450 sin exigencias. Además el altavoz suena muy mal, a lata. Chao chao Buhos.

Do not go to this bar/restaurant!! Even though the location is good on the beach it is not worth it and there are so many other good locations! They are shady (will explain below) and also the food and drinks were not near as good as other spots on the beach. Went here for lunch and drinks today and the server and bartender tried to scam us. We had already ordered a few drinks and some food and were almost ready to leave and he kept asking if we wanted shots which we said no to each time he came back. Then he said how about one round "on the house" and we finally caved and said sure why not if it's free. We did the shots had another round of drinks and then were going to leave and they brought the bill which was higher than we thought it should be so we asked about the drinks and he charged us for the shots. We said no that was on the house and his english was good so he knew exactly what he was saying to us when he suggested it. Then he brought me over to the bartender and I explained to the bartender that he said it was on the house and we wanted to pay for everything except the shots. They spoke in Spanish (even though they both spoke good english), and then the bartender immediately picked up the phone and said he was calling the police which was a total ploy but the principal was unethical again (again, spoke good english direct to me so no excuse on miscommunication and also said some derogatory thing about expecting free things in the US but this is Mexico which was funny because I'm a Canadian anyway lol - but also very rude and makes no sense). We were not confrontational at all and just said that they were being unethical but it wasn't about money for me and is principal and warning others so I paid the whole tab including the shots and we left. I told them I was going to leave a google review and I also snapped a picture of the bar and the two staff (server on the left in blue at the bar and the bartender in white behind the bar) in case someone from management or the owners read this and identify them because I am sure they are doing this to others. Anyway, avoid this bar (on top of this the Guacamole was not good (I think packaged and not freshly made and drinks were sub par and small) but otherwise Isla Mujeres is a great place to visit and would highly recommend the island otherwise! Absolutely disgusting food, and rude service , everything is overpriced . We ordered pizza and after waiting 40 minutes what arrived was a sad flat tortilla with some cheese on top . We didnt want to give the tip for the bad experience, the staff not only did not apologize but literally refused to accept payment unless we gave them a tip. So I will give another tip for every tourist going in this direction : literally search nearest garbage bin and you will find better food than here
