Absolutely stunning place to have dinner, especially if you are looking for something off resort. Prices are very reasonable and very comparable to back home in Canada for an upscale restaurant. Portions are a fair size as well. Plenty of options on the menus from local beef cuts to anything seafood. This is the best option on the lagoon side if you are in the southern part of the hotel zone. If you are looking for a cool sight too, they usually have crocodiles swimming beneath you 2-3 days of the week in the evening (8-10pm) so keep your eyes peeled. Highly recommend!

First of all, the ambiance is absolutely outstanding. The restaurant is located right on the Cancun lagoon, with beautifully arranged outdoor seating areas that feel private and relaxed, as well as the option to sit indoors if you prefer. From the outside tables, you can watch boats slowly passing by while enjoying a stunning sunset, which really elevates the entire experience. The music selection adds perfectly to the atmosphere. When I visited, soft jazz was playing, creating a very pleasant, elegant, and calm vibe. The food was truly excellent and very well executed. The menu offers great variety: from a classic chicken milanese with pasta, to a delicious “Aguacate Bambú” stuffed with shrimp, and a beautifully presented salmon dish served with black rice colored with squid ink. Everything we tried was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. To top it off, the mezcal cocktails were outstanding and paired perfectly with the food. The only aspect that could be improved would be the restrooms, which did not quite match the level of the overall experience. Aside from that small detail, Navios is a fantastic place for a special dinner, combining great food & amazing views. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible dining experience at Navios. Our waiter, Braulio, was fantastic — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our night special. If you visit, do yourself a favor and order the Golden Granada drink… holy cow. The pomegranate flavor is unreal and easily one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The setting alone is worth the visit. The restaurant sits right over the water on a dock, so you’re just above the surface. The ambience is intimate and romantic, and the sunset views are absolutely spectacular. The best time to arrive is right before sunset — we had a small two-person table that was perfect for couples and gave us an incredible view as the sky changed colors. For appetizers, we ordered the tuna tartar and the Navios ceviche, both fresh and full of flavor. For our entrées, we had the grilled octopus and the garlic seafood — two solid choices that did not disappoint. We finished with the house flan, and wow… the caramel notes were amazing. Everything we tried was superb, from start to finish. Highly recommend Navios for anyone looking for great food, unbeatable ambience, and an unforgettable dining experience in Cancun.

Fabulous place for sea food fusion and the ambient is just perfect for late lunch/early dinner. Roberto was our waiter and he did fantastic job serving us! The food was beyond our expectations! The portions are quite big so be careful when you order, you don’t wanna over do it. We had octopus carpacio and bone with marinated octopus-interesting combination but very tasty! Also we took lobster tacos, amazing really!

Everything was top notch! Ambience is romantic, soothing and scenic with the waterfront and lakeside views. We ordered lime soup, ceviche, fire shrimp and Veracruz fish with cilantro rice. Servers were very friendly, polite and explained all the items in great detail. Pricing is reasonable for a fine dine seafood restaurant. If you’re staying within Hotel Zone, this is a must visit for dinner!

One of the finest open air luxury restrobars in Cancun. They are mostly running full despite a big sized seating area so reservation is suggested. You'll be dining among some of the finest people. Some more elite ones also travel here in their private yatchs parked right at the restaurant. The food and drinks are very high quality and taste amazing. Service is top notch. A must visit once atleast if you are in Cancun (despite your all inclusive resort packages).

Celebrated my 40th birthday here and they brought out fabulous dessert and song. The live jazz was a nice touch. Good was great. Beware of the crocodiles lol we saw a pelican and a huge iguana. Views are stunning at sunset.

Best meal we had in Cancun! I am gluten-free and dairy-free, and was able to enjoy a truly delicious meal with the Pulpo in Adobo. I was the only one with food allergies in our group, and the staff was very attentive to make sure I had a safe and delicious meal. The Marlin Tostada was excellent! A friend got the catch of the day, and staff helped her debone the fish part way thru the meal. Truly magical atmosphere on the lagoon - staff showed us an alligator who had swam up under the dock during the meal.

This place is amazingly beautiful, and the food is superb! the server recommended the berry and passion fruit mocktail as a non alcoholic drink and that was the best! Also the garlic shrimp, and grouper was very delicious. the music was light, and so soothing, the girl with violin alone gets 5 stars! the servers were very cordial too! I would love to give more stars to this place really!

If you're in the Hotel Zone, eat here!!! Delicious, innovative menu featuring land, sea, and vegetarian options. There were many items that I have not seen anywhere else in the Yucatan Peninsula. Their location on the lagoon is quiet, romantic, and memorable. I would not bring young children here given the fact that the restaurant is on a wooden dock above the lagoon which does in fact have crocodiles in it (one made a guest appearance during our visit) as well as the fancier vibe and nature of the menu. The wait staff was very attentive and the food came from the chicken quickly and warmly. I would most definitely come back here.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our concierge at The Westin Cancun Resort Villas & Spa. I also noticed that it had a very high rating on Google. And it lived up to its public reputation for sure. The atmosphere, service, and food were top notch! I would definitely recommend it if you are seeking an optimal dining experience while in Cancun.

Exceptional! The food, service, and atmosphere were all phenomenal. The presentation of each dish was picture-worthy, so I’ll save them below. Beautiful setting for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. The crème brûlée and pineapple sorbet was served in the pineapple sections, and was the absolute showstopper!

Thank you for an amazing experience. Food was outstanding! Freshly made, tasty, and delicious. The menu has so many great options to choose from. Service is attentive, welcoming, and pretty quick.

A great romantic dinner. Navíos is a great little seafood restaurant that sits on the water. Each table is on the pier over water. The food is great, all seafood choices. I had Tuna Steak, I could cut with a fork. Tuna medallion marinated in black sauces, roasted garlic & sautéed cambray potatoes My wife had Garlic Seafood. Shrimp, fish & octopus marinated with garlic, cilantro rice & grilled vegetables. Wine list was better than average, but wine by the glass was limited to only a couple of white wines and two Cabs. Service was top notch. Get there before sunset and watch it. Two people with food and wine around $100USD

Great restaurant! Around $50-70pp USD depending on drinks. It's a great spot for enjoying dinner on the water at sunset. They have seating up and down the dock. We loved the shrimpdillas and the pasta dishes were surprisingly tasty. Great cocktails and nice vibes. Especially liked the playlist! They were unfortunately training quite a few people during our 2 visits so the service was a bit hit or miss. We did celebrate a birthday and it was very special and unique, it will be a highlight of our trip. So thank you!

Navíos Cancún is an excellent choice for a meal. They serve delicious seafood with genuinely fresh ingredients. The location is beautiful, offering great views of the lagoon, and the service is friendly and professional. It's a wonderful spot for a memorable seafood dinner by the water!

Pulled up to Navíos in Cancúr ike a man ready to make serious life decisions. mostly about seafood Started with the coconut shrimp-so good I almost called my ex just to tell her she lost Then their famous margarita hit me with that "bro, you're on vacation" energy Main event: Pescado Frito--a whole deep-fried red snapper lookina at me like it wanted smoke. I dominated the plate... and immediately realized it was the best dish I've ever had in my life Fresh tortillas made in-house too. At this point, I was emotionally invested, Sunset on the laqoon? 10/10. Would move in if thev let me.

What a wonderful place! Its absolutely beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The food and drinks were perfect. They were even giving us spray against the mosquitos! Definitely reccomend! A must visit place for those in Cancun!

Food & atmosphere were spectacular! Greeted in the magical ambiance by beautiful live violin music, we were escorted along the illuminated foot bridges to a beautiful hut. Food was creative with unique flavour combinations and lovely presentation! The Jamaican Dressing on the Cava salad was delicious! The service was impeccable (thank you Quinto!). The visiting gator glided underneath as a mythical addition to our dreamlike evening.

I want to start by saying me and my husband travel all over the world and have had some amazing food from all over and this place was top notch. My food was extremely good I ordered the scallops and we got the ceviche as an appetizer. Everything was so good and the service was amazing but the highlight was my husband’s face after taking a bite of his meal. I knew immediately he was over the moon. He got the bone marrow and octopus tacos and said it was the best meal he’s ever had in his life which is a huge compliment. We definitely recommend.

This restaurant is a must when you go to Cancun! Beautiful waterfront restaurant with a 1 million dollars view! priceless sunsets! The food is amazing! The presentation of their dishes are unique and the combination of flavors make honor to the highest quality of the mexican cuisine. The staff very professional and I want to thank you Luis Miguel and Antonio who made our night the best night in Cancun. They were very professionals as well, very knowledgeable of the menu and always helpful with our needs. I highly recommend this restaurant. ❤️

Fantastic dining experience on the water. The seafood selection is amazing. We got to see a crocodile under the restaurant. If the breeze is low there will be mosquitos. Apply bug repellent beforehand!

Food was amazing and our waiter was friendly. The food came out decently fast and it was so good. They have a pretty big menu and lots of tasty options to choose from. The setup of the restaurant is very nice and scenic. It’s right next to the water and they built a dock so people could enjoy the view while they eat. They bring out some bread and special butters as a starter. I got a grouper filet which was about 475 pesos. For the atmosphere I put a 4 star because of mosquitoes. I know they can’t control that but it was just annoying. Our waiter actually gave us some bug spray without us asking which was nice. They also had signs for crocodiles and said that they usually see it 4 times a week. Overall fun experience and good food 😄

Superb place for a relaxing and luxurious lunch. We dined in one on the outcrops. It was shaded and there was a lovely breeze blowing the view was fab. Our waiter was a lovely elderly man with great English (better than my Spanish) the food was superb. We didn’t have one bad dish. The most interesting was the avocado wrapped shrimp. So tasty. Highly recommend going here. Very relaxing.

I’m usually not into the fine dining and small plate restaurants. However, this restaurant is impressed. We ordered the fire shrimp and the lobster tacos. They did provide us with chips and dip. The dips three flavor were amazing and nothing like I’ve had before. Also not to mention but their dessert is ahead of menu with amazing options. We got the house Flynn, which was perfect and taste texture in size highly recommend. Alberto May

Gorgeous spot on the water serving top notch seafood. We went twice and both times were excellent!! Would highly recommend the scallops aguachile which came with a delicious sauce. Some practical notes, service can be on the slow side, and the prices are in the mid to high range. They also have guarded parking just outside which is handy.

The service was amazing! They were super busy when we went for dinner but they kept full attention on us and kept checking on us constantly. Really appreciate that!! The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. Not too dark but not too much light…I personally liked it very much! There was a young lady playing beautifully violin when we first got in. Our food came out in less than 20 minutes and each item was delicious! We enjoyed our time and meal here & would definitely go back.

What a great restaurant this is! We were greeted with a welcome cocktail after providing our recommendation and it was absolutely delicious. The fish of the day was served and cooked perfectly as the Navios rice dish. The service was very attentive yet not intrusive with all the staff very knowledgeable and able to provide advice should you need it. The view was also great which would’ve been made even more special should the crocodiles have payed a visit. We would love to visit again and highly recommend it to everyone else!

I was lucky enough to visit the restaurant twice this week. I treated my husband to birthday dinner. I asked for a table with a sunset view and staff were very happy to assist. Service and food was so good that we decided to return the following day for lunch on our last day of holidays. This place is a paradise for seafood lovers, the menu is very extensive and wine list is good. We had some scallops ceviche, black rice and coconut shrimps on the first visit (no photos, sorry to busy enjoying food and watching the sunset) And on our second day we had tuna steak and garlic seafood. I’d recommend it to anyone who is in Cancun and is looking for quality food. Diego was superb looking after us! Gracias

Celebrated our anniversary here and it was beyond beautiful. We were afraid that it would be all about the location but the service was that of an upscale restaurant and the food was amazing. You really cannot go wrong. They have an extensive menu, mostly seafood but also land options. The cocktails were delicious. When we didn’t like one of them, it was gladly taken back and replaced. We were surprised with dessert, on the house, for our anniversary. We arrived amshirtly before sunset which is really the idea time to come. Sitting out on the dock, you have the most amazing views. Verybinstagrammable for those who care and for those that don’t, it’s just an outstanding experience when in Cancun. Big shout out to our wonderful server Quinto who really did an outstanding job of making our special occasion memorable and perfect. We will definitely be back next time we are in Cancun.

Chose as a top restaurant due to reviews and boy did they deliver! Memorable visit, the place is set in various platforms in pilons over the water, torches help create ambiance, feels like South Pacific. There was a live saxophone player when we got there, walking around the tables playing. Every dish we got was excellent, my adobo grilled octopus seemed to be the winner, for me, best octopus of my life. Service was stellar. Drinks were excellent and tasty too. Highly recommend this place.

Incredible dining experience here at Navios this past Friday. The atmosphere, service, food, drinks and dessert were a highlight of our trip so far! Took my boyfriend here for his birthday at sunset over the lagoon and it was stunning! They also had a violinist play.

We first visited this restaurant five years ago when we came to Cancun for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. So, of course, when we came back, we had to go for lunch again! The location is great—very relaxing with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The service was really nice, just like we remembered. For food, we had the cream chowder with asparagus, which was super creamy and delicious. I got the grilled octopus with sweet potato purée and veggies, and it was really good. We also ordered a pear and spinach salad, which was fresh and tasty. To drink, I had the maracuja water (so refreshing and flavorful!), and my husband got a cappuccino. Overall, we highly recommend checking this place out for lunch or dinner if you’re in Cancun. It’s a great spot with good food, a nice atmosphere, and a beautiful view!

I’ve been lucky to try amazing food around the world, Navíos in Cancún is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. From the moment you arrive, the place feels unreal dreamy seating, water all around, and the kind of atmosphere that looks straight out of a movie. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a full experience, like stepping into a little piece of paradise. Now let’s talk about the food… WOW. We ordered the Navíos Risotto, a seafood risotto that was literally amazing perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor.. The grilled octopus was tender and beautifully seasoned, and the mixed seafood was fresh and high quality. For dessert, the crème brûlée served inside a pineapple with sorbet was next level creative, refreshing, and absolutely delicious! Every single dish was incredible! You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. On top of that, the service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling rushed Navíos is not just about eating, it’s about the vibe, the view, the flavors, and the memories you make there. If you’re in Cancún, this is a must. I’d come back again and again without even thinking twice ✨🌴🍽️

Amazing place with a beautiful view and a great atmosphere! We had the lobster tacos, cheese-baked shells, and the marlin tostadas — everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Big plus for being pet-friendly 🐾❤️, which made our visit even better. The service was excellent, especially Alberto May — super friendly, professional, and attentive. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

I ate at this restaurant my first night on the strip, and wound up going back for my subsequent dinner. Food is mostly delicious, the location is wonderful, and the staff are attentive. My first night I had the Thousand Pear Leaves salad, fresh spinach with pears, goat cheese and candied almonds. Really wonderful after a week of not much salad. Followed with the Veracruz-style grouper, which was cooked perfectly, with rice and vegetables. The Pancho Villa cocktail was delicious, tequila with passionfruit puree. Second meal was also good, started with the pescadillas based on reviews, but I was underwhelmed. Have had much tastier fish tacos/quesadillas on the coast, and for a fraction of the price. Also had the Cava salad, which was pretty heavy on frisée. The coconut shrimp were pretty good, but did not replicate my entree experience from the night before. It seems as though there are a lot of staff, and they tend to just kind of hang out on the deck, chatting. They are always responsive if you need anything. Sunsets are beautiful from this location. Alas, I did not see any crocodiles, but my waiter showed me video from the night before…

Baller seafood spot right on the lagoon...place is actually a pier/ dock that juts out onto the lagoon, beautiful at sunset. Recommend making reservation for outside table cuz otherwise you ll be inside and it gets a little bouncy. Saxophonist killed it when we were there. Seems like some folks were able to take water taxis there as well.

Amazing and stunning view. However food is ok but just like other restaurants - too salty. Plus it seems a little bit overpriced. Also, no other place good to go nearby (walking distance), just this restaurant.

One of the better tourist restaurants in the Hotel Zone. Atmosphere is excellent - book a table at sunset! Food was good, but with some execution errors. The shrimps were rubbery and the Himalayan salt plate was somewhat gimmicky (Image). We also got a fish dish, and while the fish was delicious, the vegetables looked like they came out of the frozen aisle of the supermarket. The ceviche was lovely!

We've made this our traditional birthday spot. Carlos is the best. Food and ambiance is always great!

b

The place is amazing, wonderful decoration and good atmosphere. However, I am really disappointed about the taste of the food, it's not Mexican at all, much too adapted to the tourists probably. It's more ''fish and chips'' with sweet sauce flavor in both dishes that we tried. Not salty enough, no spice at all... well that's more a tourist attraction than a Mexican restaurant.

We stopped by to have lunch as it was raining outside. It was quite empty. Just a few customers. Service was great. Our waiter was lovely. We ordered a seafood plate. But unfortunately, the seafood was not very fresh here. So we just ate quickly and left.
