From the time I walked in to the time I left was an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly, answered all my questions, and was super professional. Food was superb absolutely enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

We came here just by the luck of the draw. We got inside we ordered and we sat down. I began reading reviews. Many were bad and many were good. Many of the bad ones were on the foods we ordered. Everything we ordered was really great! Good experience here. Only issue was I didn’t have cash and the register system didn’t have a tipping system. So I couldn’t tip. ☹️

Catfish dinner was delicious, food is made to order so you might have a slight wait for food but it's fresh and hot when you get your food. All kinds of stuff on the menu and they have ice cream and fried pies as well. Great friendly service. Highly recommend if near this place in Canton TX.

I recently visited , and it quickly became one of my favorite spots! The restaurant has a charming, nostalgic diner feel that took me back to simpler times. The hamburgers were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and served with all the classic toppings. But what really stole the show was their ice cream. Creamy, rich, and with just the right amount of sweetness, it was the perfect way to end the meal. The retro decor and friendly service made the experience even better. We recently had lunch at the Dairy Palace, and it was a fantastic experience. The burger was excellent. Also had an elk burger which was also good. Loved the curly fries; they were crispy and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Went to the dairy palace while we were visiting Canton trade days. Went there for breakfast. The food was great and the restaurant was clean.

We always stop here on the way to Dallas. Great Jalapeño Burgers! We always order the fried mushrooms with a side of ranch dressing. Friendly staff!

Dairy Palace is a wonderful place! Me and my hubby had a lunch date here. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service! Oh and must try their homemade pies! Delicious!

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Very convenient location, has a drive-thru, and plenty of parking. The prices are great, as well. 10/10

Had the Elk burger. And the wife had the 1/3 lb reg burger. I didn’t order the normal plum sauce though. It came on a weird wheat bun. The meat was dry even after plastering it mustard and ketchup and had a different taste. Not too bad. But I wouldn’t order it again. $11.50? I think it needs season all for a better flavor. The place is cool and they make a lot of kinds of burgers

Update: We went back 3 years later.... food still delicious, friendly service. Still took about 45 mins to get our food (party of 4), with an arrival time of 7:14pm. Great selection at the ice cream bar, with a handful of toppings. Walk up to order & pay. The food was delicious. The service was friendly. Still took us 45 minutes to get our food, with arrival time around 9pm.

Went for dinner while in town called to order for pick up. I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes from the time I placed my order. I paid for my food and sat to wait. Waited another 15 minutes. Was finally given what I thought was my order, the lady that gave it to me had a nasty attitude. After my 2 minute drive back to my hotel find out it wasn't my order so i went back to get what i ordered. Needless to say my Bison burger was cold, the sweet potato fries were cold like the had been sitting for hours, the okra was Luke warm. I revisted the next day, for breakfast, the staff was amazing despite being extremely busy. The food was great too. Night shift needs to do better.

Very disappointed. Always heard good things about this place. We had the 1/3 lb burger with fries and onion rings. The meat was very overcooked and dry. Ask for the fries crisp they were limp and soft. Requested the onion rings crisp as well and they were almost burnt. Also I hate dealing with the little packets of ketchup. What a pain. Probably will not go back for a burger anytime soon. Hopefully these issues will be resolved.

Ordered fried mushrooms, bacon burger with fries, steak fingers with fries, chicken fried chicken, and chicken fried steak with fried pickles. I have to be honest, I think this place is overrated. The mushrooms were ok. The burger was overcooked. The meat was cold and flavorless. The rest of the food was just ok. No one was crazy about the breading. The pickles were also bad. There was also something wrong with the soft drinks. Three different types of drinks and all lacked syrup. So the drinks had very taste. I did like the fries. The service was great. There was a line to order. The food came out quickly, considering how many orders were made before us. Taste is subjective, but preparation is not.

(Edit: This keeps getting flagged so I am reposting as it doesnt violate fhe terms) I really hate leaving a bad review unless the service is bad, which it wasn't. But this is the worst food I have had since I can remember. There is no way this is made to order as I see claimed. Anyone can tell the difference between fresh food and microwaved leftovers, but someone like me with a low tolerance for histamine can tell better than anyone because leftovers make us sick. This food left me so sick I cannot even describe it. The nerve of charging good money for food so STALE or rubbery or soggy is something I will never understand. The fries were a little soggy and under-cooked, but fine otherwise, or maybe it's just that I was that hungry. That is the only thing I could take more than a few bites of. I ordered the foot-long hot dog. This is actually just two hot dogs side by side. That was weird. Anyway, the franks were fine irt flavor, but the bun was so stale and hard that it wasn't edible. I've had better hot dogs on the Amtrak and from gas stations. Actually every gas station hot dog I ever ate was fresher than this one. The onion rings were so soggy and rubbery they weren't edible. There is no way these weren't microwaved for too long (any time in a microwave is too long for onion rings). Hamburger was nothing to write home about (unless you're writing a pretty scathing letter home). If they can't get a normal beef hamburger right, I somehow doubt the more exotic ones are any good, either. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but I'm honestly not interested in finding out and I would rather be hungry than eat here again. If the food hadn't made me too sick to do anything about it, I would go back and demand a refund.

I know alot of locals think this place is great. I however do not and this is the third time I have tried this place and won't make the mistake again. I ordered two breakfast burritos with extra bacon and tater tot. The burritos had less than one egg on each (more cheese then egg) supposed to have grilled onions which we ended up with only two little pieces. The bacon was a fair amount, cheese never melted because it was cold This is the worst breakfast burrito I think I have ever had. I even showed the man who brought it out to my car and he proudly said "yes" this is what you get for 18 dollars. He did offer to take it back but really if this is what they believe is okay to serve then I have the choice to not return.
