Fish sandwich was amazing, salad and pizzas really good. We really liked their juices and iced mint coffee. Also, their dark chocolate cookies were great. Nice outdoor seating with live music. Great vibe and service. All waiters were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back.

First time visiting and overall great experience. I ordered the fish sandwich and my friend had a burger we both ate all of our food. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant could have been cleaner for sure only downside.

This is a beautiful cafe. Please be advised : credit card only. No cash accepted. The staff was friendly. The inside was immaculate. My cousin (she’s a regular) and 👁 (my first visit) both had cheese burgers and a salad. Both our burgers were prepared perfectly. Salads were well made and everything was fresh. Went on a Thursday afternoon right after breakfast hours and it was quite busy. The kitchen was awesome and let us order a cheese scramble for our toddler even though it was lunch hours (she went for my husband's fries instead....). I ordered the fish sandwich and it was expensive but delicious. The fish was not dry like what you would usually assume in a sandwich. Mixed half of the fish in my salad and it was perfect. Just the right amount to fill me up. Husbands burger was nice and juicy as well. We (mainly my toddler) enjoyed the homemade ginger ale and I had the mint coffee which was refreshing but not amazing like I will go back for it kinda drink. Space can be a bit tight. We had a baby stroller so really depends where you find a seat. They had patio seating as well.

I have eaten at this Northstar many times and I took my wife for the first time we both got the Mushroom Fritata and I also added the Sausage sandwich as well, my wife we very impressed with her food. And I thought it was amazing myself. We went in shortly after noon and it was extremely busy, ended up sitting upstairs which is so nice and relaxing to watch the while place run while up there, but all our food was fantastic the mushroom fritata was pry my favorite part of my whole weekends food that I enjoyed for the weekend. Please note they do not take cash here so you will need a card for sure just a heads up!

This was my first time at this location but I’ve enjoyed North Star many times in the past. The food is reliably good, tasty and I generally think the homemade ginger ale is the best I’ve had. This location has a nice layout and vibe- plenty of tables, a nice outdoor area to eat and we got our usual order- the chicken sandwich and the burger both cooked great. The prices have been creeping up lately, and along with tip and a drink etc it no longer falls into the mid range price for dinner.

Everyone at our table was pleased with our dinner. I loved my North Star veggie burger and finely seasoned fries. I sampled my daughter’s pizza and my wife’s Buddha Bowl — both were excellent.

You order first and then find your own seat. I found Northstar online through reviews and was really excited to try the place out. I got the Townsfair Salad and it was very mid. Could be I didn’t order a fan favorite, but I didn’t really taste anything spectacular. It was kind of hard to navigate what to do once we entered the restaurant, until we were told to go back to the front to order before we could sit down. It was also really hard to find a seat that was cleared before someone else claimed it. I stood by a table and waited until I could grab a server’s attentions to help clear our table. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Hopefully I can come back and have a redo.

Breakfast at North Star is always a treat, I got the Sunrise Burrito Scrambled Ohio organic eggs, cheddar, crispy hash browns, roasted veggies, and organic black beans. I also tried the pancakes with a side of breakfast potatoes. All were amazing! And the food was phenomenal. The service was pretty good, nice little place to get breakfast and just enjoy time for yourself. They have a great cheese burger as well!

Limited on item choices. Their version of Applewood smoked bacon is not even Hickory bacon, do not order this because it is small and not even cooked all the way through so order it crispy if you must. Now their sausage is off the chain I would order three plates of these delicious pieces of Heaven! Their coffee was a miss for us and I usually love Ethiopian coffee. Very loud inside there, must be an echo chamber.

Like other reviewers stated, the burger is nothing special. My meat was unevenly cooked. Fries were way too salty. Service is excellent. Ambiance is nice. Plenty of seating. Paid parking lot on the side.
