Cafe located inside the mall at Carmel. They have pastries, coffee, and meal options here, plus they sell pantry items like honey. Lots of seating, like a good court. We got some iced coffees, great taste. Service was pretty fast, and very friendly. Order from the counter on the left and pickup from a separate counter on the right.

Found this little cafe restaurant in the interior walkways of Carmel while browsing the shops and looking for a place to stop to eat. Carmel Belle had a large variety menu to choose from. We ordered to very different styles of food, more like a lunch and dinner plates, between my spouse and I. We had the BLT and grilled salmon. I was assured salmon would not disappoint even with a very busy Saturday lunch rush, and not the regular restaurant that would serve salmon. This place was terrific! The owners are wonderful people and waiters are polite and helpful! We look forward to stopping by here again on our travels! Thanks Carmel Belle.

Came because we saw a review about the scone being really moist, and it was true — ginger apricot, maybe the best scone I’ve ever had. Poached eggs done just right, and the sausage was tasty too. Good service and good fireplace ambience.

I ordered a fresh-squeezed juice, a smoothie, and a latte, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-balanced. The juice was vibrant and refreshing, the smoothie was creamy and satisfying without being overly sweet, and the latte had a smooth, rich flavor with perfectly steamed milk. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a healthy drink or a great coffee, Carmel Belle is a fantastic choice in Carmel. My husband and I while walking around town on our vacation saw this place and thought that this was a very nice place for brunch. It was quaint and cozy inside one of the alleys downtown Carmel. It even had a fire pit that was on for cooler weather. You just order in the counter and you're given a number and just sit anywhere. The strawberry infused water is self served in Mason glasses. My husband had the hot sandwich mushroom and brie and a latte and I opted for the cold chicken avocado salad sandwich. They were both served with a little side salad of urugula and they were both good, fresh and satisfying. The service was fast and courteous. The atmosphere was so warm and people seem to be so cordial with each other. Overall we had a great experience.

This was hands down the best coffee I’ve had outside of Italy. They offer an (Italian style) macchiato and I was dubious but I went for it. Whoa! So good. Smooth I love sugar in my espresso but it was unneeded here. Plus, they offered it in a “for here” cup. And we sat outside people watching. Really a wonderful spot to chill in an adorable town.

Absolutely loved being here. The gentleman who took my order at about 7:30am? was very kind. I appreciated this lovely place so early on a cool quiet Tuesday morning. Thank you! The coffee was excellent as well.

The lady at the point of sale was impressively patient and there was a classy professional lady attending the floor who without being asked brought us glasses for our wine when we had grabbed paper cups..anticipation of needs is so rare. Will give the food another shot next time we’re in town.

Now my favorite in Carmel. They have a great food offering, the classics plus some healthy choices: freshly squeezed juices (detox green was great and they also have celery juice! A unicorn to find in USA), healthy smoothies, real European coffee (I finally found a real macchiato 😍). Portions are fare which I appreciate. All fresh and super tasty. Ambience was quiet, with a fire going in the crisp mornings. Next time I’ll try the charcuterie board to go and have at the beach. Thank you guys! Loved it.

Loved this place! We ordered the salmon pasta, I’m not a huge fan of salmon but this was so good!! The service was incredible. The waiter let us know multiple times that our food was almost ready and expressed sincere apologies when they had a back end issue with their orders. Great food and friendly server!

Great coffee, but 3 stars for poor and unfriendly service. Barista female had an unpleasant attitude while prepping drinks — then became extremely bothered by the fact my order was to-go and she prepared it for sit down. She did not proceed to switch to a to-go cup and her co worker ended up doing it. Disappointing experience.

Meh…. Ordered the Cobb salad and the grilled “cheese”, not great….. grilled cheese had the smallest slice of cheese… absolutely no flavor….the cob salad was pretty boring… the tomato was sliced in half and was soggy and wrinkly as if had been sitting in the fridge for quite some time….not on our list next time we visit Carmel by the sea..

On our second visit, while we waited for our food (which unfortunately arrived undercooked), a restaurant employee began cleaning the floors right next to the customers at the tables. They were moving chairs even at occupied tables, creating lots of noise, which made many people visibly uncomfortable. It almost seemed like the person was trying to get people to leave as the time was near closing. It created quite an unwelcoming atmosphere and is just terrible customer service. We aren't high-maintenance customers and understand that things must be prepped for closure, but there is a way to do that without making people around you uncomfortable and not want to come back again.
