Poppy's Frozen Yogurt

Stopped here on my Hike of the Tahoe Rim Trail and got Ice cream and iced coffee. Hung out here for a few hours. Great rest stop if your out hiking.

Yum. Fast, nice staff…everyone in the group was happy…they had afogato made with fresh espresso…i didn’t get it, my wide said i missed out…

The espresso milkshake with espresso ice cream is to die for!! But dont throw the spoon away before you finish so you get all the yummy crushed chocolate espresso beans!

We got the BLT and breakfast sandwiches, both on ciabatta bread - both were amazing! They can also make the sandwiches with waffles. Everything was great, the only issue I had was that I thought my breakfast sandwich had too much cheese, but that's only a matter of preference. Try the mimosa sorbet!!!!

Delicious frozen yogurt with generous portions - the small isn't truly a small. Getting the fresh fruit topping definitely meant I got less topping than my rainbow sprinkle-loving boyfriend, but he also made a point to ask for sprinkles on bottom and on top.

Poppy is the nicest man and the people working here are so sweet, helpful and always willing to customize your order. This is my favorite frozen yogurt place in Tahoe ever! While their ice cream and yogurt are all awesome, their acai bowls are what I usually get. They are always blended perfectly and loaded with lots of fruit, granola and honey. I usually add coconut flakes to mine! My sister usually gets extra granola, and the granola is really tasty :) Oh yeah, and the ice cream scoops are huge which is awesome!

The best milkshake on the Lake? For sure! I got the salted Carmel mixed with peanut butter chocolate and couldn’t have been happier with the result. The owner sources premium ice cream and doesn’t skimp on the portions. I topped it all off with whipped cream and can’t wait to have it again. Super friendly staff as well! Thanks Poppys!

Cute little dessert shop with A LOT to offer. A variety ic creams, smoothies, coffee, tea, and snacks. Luke was super helpful and made sure our long order was on point. Everything was on point and I would definitely recommend this to everyone!! 💯

Great outdoor location with shade. Quick service and an easy walk across the street to the lakefront. Flavors were great and they did not skimp on the toppings or the fillings like in my cookies and creme it easily had 4 Oreos worth in the small cup.

We’re a family of six and we ordered a variety of things. The strawberry smoothie was really good, the kids enjoyed their sundae’s and I really liked their frozen yogurt. The staff was really friendly especially to my seven year old boy who can talk a lot.

This is a great spot for a treat. The servings were generously sized. You can eat on their balcony or take your ice cream or frozen yogurt to the park across the street for a lakeside view.

It is a small little ice cream and coffee with a limited selection but is a great stop for a treat. Only ice cream and drinks on the menu, but there is a subway next door of you are hungry.

I loved It here ♥️ 💗 but...they did not specify the cone size, but in all creamy and delicious. 😋

And I shouldn't have to ask, it slows down the entire process as I now have to make decisions at the counter instead of ahead of time while waiting in line. Price transparency, please. Otherwise it just screams shady.

Friendly service but it about starts and stops there. Cookie dough ice cream had one piece of cookie dough per scoop. Oh and a scoop is $4

Wow, I think they may have been making the ice cream, literally churning the butter to cream while we waited to order. Waited in line for 10min and it never moved. People actually got out of line in front of us! If you do not have 30-45min to spare this is not the place for you!

This place is under new ownership, so sad! I'm all for have a family run business, but having an 11yr taking orders is not working. I've never seen lines so long in the 15yrs I've been coming here. Also, the portions are smaller but not the prices.
