The food is really good and the service is excellent.
The food is great, very good, in fact, excellent. Excellent cuisine, excellent service, super treatment. We'll be back every day.
We were a group of six friends, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We chose from a few of the daily specials, unlimited water and house wine, coffee (double round), and amaro. We had a great time, they were quick and friendly. And when you pay, you won't believe the price. It will be our go-to place for future visits to the area.
I've been to La Casetta several times for lunch and dinner. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The owner is extremely kind and always available to answer any questions. The trattoria-style food is delicious. Definitely worth a try for those who haven't been.
This was the first time my husband, a friend, and I went for lunch. The place was welcoming and friendly, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent and plentiful (for us); the prices were very fair, the chef was excellent, and there was parking. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

A simple restaurant, but with truly great food and people.... Starters, main courses, side dishes, dessert.... Everything was delicious! And, truth be told, there's no shortage of elaborate dishes... The pasta was perhaps a little too bland, but the toppings were exceptional.... The service and friendliness were absolutely top-notch... Highly recommended...
Nice place, you can eat outside in the garden. We had the tourist menu for €11. Delicious first courses, like tagliatelle with venison sauce, agnolotti with butter and sage, etc. For second courses, you could choose between rib-eye steak, for a very small surcharge, or Milanese steak, or asparagus with eggs, with a choice of side dishes. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous! The owners were very kind. Recommended!
Random choice: we were looking for a casual bite to eat, a real trattoria, and a place with local food—two elements that seem increasingly difficult to reconcile these days. And here we found it! It was a pleasant surprise: we'd been there before, but the sign hadn't told us much. The interior was our first surprise: a simple, village trattoria-like setting, but well-designed with two connecting rooms. It's spacious, clean, and warm, with details of rural life. The staff is courteous, without frills. The menu is more than decent: well-cooked and beautifully presented dishes with a good selection. Excellent value. If we're in the area, we'll definitely return.

Convivial dinner with a large group; they reserved the entire place for us. The staff was capable, but too few to handle such a large group. Nice and clean, unpretentious. The food was good and well-cooked. I'd like to return to a less crowded setting. I recommend the tagliatelle with salami sauce. The dessert was excellent.
In search of "old-fashioned" trattorias (those where you can eat well and cheaply), Watson and I, for our weekly gastronomic investigation, head to Ghislarengo, a small town of less than 1,000 inhabitants in the province of Vercelli. Here, on the outskirts of town, is "La Casetta," a seemingly agricultural building renovated inside and out to be transformed into a "ristobar," as the owners call their business. And indeed, despite its modest budget, the establishment is more than decently maintained. Inside, the building is divided into two rooms: the first houses the bar, while the second houses the kitchen. We are greeted simply by the young waitress who lists the daily specials: "...for customized requests, please submit the request a few days in advance...", explains Renzo, the owner, intelligently justifying this requirement by the need to source the highest-quality and freshest ingredients. Having decided not to book until the last minute, we choose from the daily specials: veal with tuna sauce, ravioli with butter and sage, rib-eye steak, French fries, lemon sorbet, and coffee. We wash it all down with mineral water and a bottle of Nebbiolo d'Alba, which I unfortunately forgot to take note of. The table setting is spartan but complete. The dishes come quickly, and we finish them just as quickly, proving the dishes aren't bad! Three-quarters of an hour later, we're at the cash register to pay: €51 for two! I can hardly believe it. Considering that a bottle of Nebbiolo is priced at €15, that means the full Saturday night menu costs only €18: the true price cap! Now, it may seem difficult to evaluate this type of establishment, where the tablecloths aren't embroidered, the staff isn't in uniform, the dishes aren't decorated, and the wine isn't decanted, but no, it isn't. If you get the right quality (in the broad sense)/price ratio, La Casetta deserves 4 stars because a place like this still allows many people to be able to say: I went out to dinner!
We found this little spot somewhat by chance along the road for lunch with a set menu. It was good, with quick and friendly service and a good price. We'd go back.
We passed by at midday after a few minutes I looked for someone they told me if I had booked I didn't it wasn't very full so there is room but I don't know
Let's start with the assumption that I wouldn't even give it one star. We sat down at the table, and the waiter arrived, offering us two first courses and three second courses without even giving us a preview of the menu. We ordered four tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, two rare rib-eye steaks, a roast beef, and a grilled steak. The tagliatelle were overcooked and dry with little sauce, the rib-eye steaks were well done and not at all rare, but everything else was okay. We ordered dessert. I chose a pistachio parfait, but it was stale and tasted like it had been frozen. We got up to pay. When they asked us if everything was okay, we explained that the appetizers hadn't been listed and that the dessert was stale. The person behind the counter treated us very rudely, calling us rude and spoiled.
