This is the best place. To eat hands down. For a person on a tight budget. When I was homeless. I ate here , everyday. For every meal for almost 5 years straight!. Trust I know which places you can . Get the most bang for your buck.😎
Love taco bell. This one is no different from the others I've visited. Great staff, clean store and quick on making the food I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!
It's amazing. You can order tacos, crunchwraps from A-Z. Lemme just say Taco Bell raised me as a child. It taught me how to love, how to act, how to be me. It deserves 5 stars.
Fast service friendly good food still like Frito burrito bestWell I went the other day and it was wonderful as usual Andre is very friendly and so are the other workers that work there thank you for being so close to my house
They made the food perfect. Nice hot and big servings for a taco bell. Perfect friendly employee's. Love it. Best taco bell ever

The service at this location is exceptional! Andres was very helpful and made sure my special order was exactly what i wanted. The dining room was spotless, too!
I always have a good experience at this taco bell, even when I come fairly close to closing. Always a nice group of guys behind the counter. Two complants however. First there is there's no music. It's just dead quiet. And more importantly, there's no option to tip when you pay here and I'm confused as to why. I come here a lot since I live up there street but can never tip
Thank you to everyone at Carpinteria Taco Bell! You've all been life savers over the years I've gone here. A true second family of mine.
Loved that they didn't have a drive through. Extremely fast service and with a smile. Three people working behind the counter and all said thank you to us for eating there. First time I've been wowed by a taco bell.
It's everything I want. Its clean, offers colorful quirky decor and features attentive staff. I love that they call out orders by name. The food is always what I expect. It's the best Taco Bell in Carpinteria.

Quick, cheap, tasty food. Staff never smiles! And when they announce your order it's almost impossible to understand what they are saying. But service is very fast!
Fast, fairly priced tacos! I suppose you know what you're getting when eating here so it was as to be expected. Decent fast food in a clean restaurant.
It's hard to say much about a fast food franchise that would surprise anyone whose been to one. It was clean and not very busy when I was there. The food was standard Taco Bell fare, but thanks to inflation, it was pricey.
Currently no indoor seating. No drive thru, No bathroom Plenty of parking Not just this taco bell, but all have changed prices and menus recently.

Eat here often, it's decent. They follow the rules typically and make taco bell standard food. Service is okay. Place is always clean. Can't complain.
Food was standard taco bell. We got what we expected. Kids did not like it at all. It was their first visit. It is missing a star just because it is taco bell and not much has changed in quality or flavor since the mid 90s. Just new inventions like a giant cheezit. Including a giant cheezit in your menu says volumes about the food served and a corporation trying to survive. Imagine the ideas in corporate with trained chefs developing the giant cheezit menu items. It probably was the same as hotdog stuffed pizza crust, and pasta bread bowls. This is the kind of stuff that makes Jamie Oliver cry in his sleep. Overall the food was what it was. Staff was friendly, bathroom and restaurant clean. Side note: The last taco bell i visited (thousand oaks) someone had smeared several bean burritos all over the bathroom walls. No tortillas. I tell myself it was bean burritos, I know it wasn't. This was about 11 years ago. I did not order the bean burrito this time, so I can't comment on that. My courage to return to taco bell was rewarded well.
Wasn't crowded. Customer service experience was better and faster than any other Taco Bell that I've been to here in CA. Employees were friendly. Would recommend if you want a quick bite.
Once the scale of how good Taco Bell's can actually get this one is pretty great. Some of the decor is a bit dreary but is has ample seating, parking, and the great selection and prices you'll expect from your local Taco Bell. They messed up my order so no 5* :(
I don't know many Taco Bells to compare but food ready in 3 minutes and tasted good! Yes no drive through, but parking is easy and in Santa Barbara drive through has been no go for decades. Mc D,s next door has no drive through so welcome to Carpinteria.

These ladies need to step their game up I tried paying cash and they made me repeat my order after already putting it into the cashier there was no customers in the restaurant and they still took about 15 minutes to get my order out, all I ordered was some french fries and two cinnamon balls 🥴
Still a good place for fast American Mexican food. But no longer at bargain prices. It cost me $9 for a Mexican pizza and drink. Huge menu to choose from
Extremely quiet place; they should consider investing in some music installation as there's almost nobody eating in. The food was like any other Taco Bell.
Honestly not a bas taco bell compared to the rest, hurts my heart that they don't sell coke but the cheesy Dorito I had while ago was bomb!
It's Taco Bell You're eating here because you want clear out your system or you really like Mountain Dew The service staff for this one are less than pleasant They basically just Grumpily shuffled you off to the computerized Waiter, Though that does provide an opportunity to make all kinds of modifications to your food.

Almost 7$ for a burrito Supreme 2.30 for a taco I'm out. I feel bad that they are forced to pay 20$ for a high school job. I'll just go to a regular restaurant and pay the same
The tacobell here is rather dreary and you tend to find a lot of homeless hanging around the restaurant holding up for hours and hours at a time. The place feels a little dirty as well. The only real decent thing about this place is the staff is pretty nice.
Dirty, all the female workers have attitude and the old lady with the cockeye and mustache always miss pronounces my name as the female version with a laugh. The college age guys are always very nice and friendly which is why they get the 2nd star. If I don't see the guys me and the family just keep walking. But it's better than the McDonald's
Horribly inflated prices on all menu items. There is absolutely nothing on the menu under $2. Items that are $1 at most Taco Bell’s are about $2.50 here. You won’t find at $5 boxes here either. Do yourself a favor and stop at a Taco Bell in Ventura, Oxnard, or Camarillo.
Weirdly quiet. No music playing. Not like other Taco Bells. It almost felt strange to eat there. Everyone else got their order to go. Hard to explain but it didn't feel like a typical taco bell.
As far as I'm concerned, Taco Bell is Taco Bell, no matter where it's location is. Cheap and quick food. It's meat, beans, cheese and lettuce.....all presented in a myriad different shapes, colors and configurations. It's all the same, it tastes the same, no matter what you order. The names of all their dishes have Spanish sounding names that mean absolutely nothing when translated to English. What the heck is a Chalupa, anyway? Gordita Crunch?
Much more expensive than other TBs, BUT they make up for it in the food, everything we at was very good, and they didn't go light on the portions. Big downside there is no drive thru.
One and only I've never seen a drive-thru?Slow service and unhappy employees.Depressing to see ontop of all the tables and chairs put away for covid.
I order my food via the app. It said my food was ready and once I arrived my food was not ready. They had the wrong order in my bag. I had to wait extra for my food. Once I got home I open my Mexican pizza and it was unacceptable.

Ordered my food off of Doordash, Iv we never had a problem with any of them! Doordash workers are awesome! My issue is with how the food was stored, wrapped up or whatever. It was pretty much rolled up all together, very disgusting and disappointing!
The place is always empty. Staff could care less. Cashier was texting on his cell phone while we were deciding what to order. Food was taco bell standard but the prices have become unjustifiable. Without looking at the price, I ordered a #6 meal 2 chalupas, 1 regular taco , medium drink for over $15.00. With so many really good taco options to choose from, probably a better option to plan and get some quality authentic Mexican food somewhere else.

Arrived at this location after a bad experience in Ventura on a long drive, arrived 30 mins before closing. Friend really wanted the quesalupas and was told they didn't have the first option, nor the 2nd option. Ordered something else instead, was informed they had closed the fryer for the night and things weren't working. Was not offered any similar substitute items that we could buy to eat, so we left.
The most disgusting place. Extremely dirty and very unfriendly if you are a Taco Bell addict I would recommend any other location. Got food positing from this one
Taste like Taco Bell food - that's a good thing. The bad thing is that this place is grossly overpriced: expect to pay about 2x as much as other TBs.
Terrible service, as I was waiting for my food two employees ran out the door to chase two kids for no apparent reason. I will not be returning to this location ever again.
My favorite fast food brand but my experience in this location was awful .
Not friendly nor welcoming. When I spoke the service personnel did not reply. I felt as though I was not wanted even though I bought a lot of food and returned on multiple occasions.
The absolute worst. Want to know how bad a Taco Bell can be? Come to this location and pay twice the normal price and be treated like your very presence is a hassle for them.
No breakfast menu, no $5 boxes, prices are nearly double compared to any other Taco Bell nearby. Portions are smaller and sloppily made . Staff is cold and disgruntled. Place is always empty. Doesn’t even seem like a real Taco Bell. Very weird
Eh.. Very judgmental employees there. Especially the manager, I want to say, this gentleman is. NEVER go in for a complaint for somebody else because you get judged for it from then on. I love it how I don't say my name just that one time and they always print out a ticket with my name.
If Taco Bell is supposed to “Live Más,” this location is barely alive. No breakfast? No exclusive items? It’s like they found a time capsule from 1998 and decided, “Yep, this is good enough.” Want the new Taco Bell chicken nuggets? Too bad. Craving a Crunchwrap Supreme for breakfast? Not here, friend. In fact, if it’s something even mildly exciting on the menu, they’ll somehow horribly prepare it—or just plain not serve it. And the taco shells? Let’s talk about those. Stale, broken, and so thin they practically disintegrate before you take the first bite. It’s like their motto is “why serve one taco when we can break it into three pieces for you?” Pro tip: bring a spoon because you’ll basically be eating taco salad. As for the staff, they’re not here for your happiness or even basic human decency. Eye contact? A smile? Forget it. You’re lucky if they acknowledge your existence long enough to mutter, “What do you want?” It’s like they were hired exclusively for their ability to look annoyed at all times. All in all, this place is less Taco Bell and more Taco Hell. Avoid at all costs unless you’re into stale shells, shattered dreams, and the cold, unwelcoming embrace of mediocrity.
I've ordered many times and received wrong items more times that I can count so it makes you wonder what's going on but if u actually go in and observe staff, it's clear that even the longer term employees don't have proper training. However my biggest concern is that the employees appear to be required to wear gloves while working and I don't see any policy in place about changing gloves. I have witnessed employees use the register then go back to making food as well as opening the door to the dining area with their gloved hand and fill drinks pressing the buttons on the sea machine that all the customers have used and then returning to preparing food with those same gloves. Disgusting. I can't imagine what's going on out of eye view. Never eating here again.
Made an order at this taco bell for the family. Recieved a total of 6 burritos. All wrapped in the same wrapping amd not labeled. So we spend the next 5 minutes. Opening every single burrito to figure out what burrito is for who. I also, never recieved my cinnamon twist that I ordered. Ultimately this taco bell. Doesn't have employees who care about there job. Not sure why they are being paid $20 an hour to not care about the quality of there work. Can't take an extra minute to label the wrappers so your not having to unwrap every burrito to figure out who ordered what.
