Glad this Quiznos is still going strong! Had the chicken carbonara and look at the chicken! Not processed meat. I have to drive a ways to get here but worth it!!
PLEASE DONT LET THIS QUIZNOS CLOSE!!! there are less then 130 Quiznos in the United States. Please keep your negative comments to yourself unless you want this amazing place disappear. Just had lunch there and the one poor girl working trying to keep up in the heat. Ill try to go back tomorrow for repeat business if I can.
The BEST Quiznos in town! The lady is super nice and the meat portion is plenty!! Try the new lobster sub, premium yummy ↖(^ω^)↗
The fact that this is a legitimate, clean, and well run Quiznos with a full menu is worth 5 stars. Of course this is not a five-star steak restaurant, but Quiznos is the best sandwich brand flavor/food wise in the States. So glad this location opened up near me
Genuinely love this Quiznos so much. Been eating at Quiznos since I was a little kid and the sandwiches are just so good. The same lady makes my sandwiches every time I go and she’s just the most wonderful individual. It really brightens my day every time I go to pick up my food and she greets me.
This is my all time favorite sandwich shop. Quiznos is unfortunately not as popular it used to be and a bit on the pricier side but the subs in my opinion are worth it. Very quiet and clean atmosphere. And the cashier is just the sweetest lady ever!
I was on a nostalgic vibe today, so I just remembered about Quiznos…it was THE pioneer of toasted subs back in the day! Needless to say, I decided on a pilgrimage of sorts to find the Holy Grail if subs today, and I was disheartened to find that there is ONLY ONE LOCATION LEFT IN THE DFW METROPLEX! 😭 It just so happened to be in Plano, and I recognized it being near JUSGO and MITSUWA, both institutions in their own right, so I decided to make the near-hour long trek there today. Boyyyyy when I saw that sign…a wave of emotions came over me. Sure, the sign was weathered and cracked from the years, but it was like visiting on old friend. Familiar, yet different. I came inside and was greeted by a nice lady, and I instantly saw what I came there for… a Traditional on Rosemary Parmesan breaded with everything on it, toasted to perfection, of course. 🤤 The lady was kind enough to fix me up the 16-inch sandwich, and I proceeded to have a seat near the window to enjoy the warmth of the sun today…86 degrees on a Friday, post-Christmas, was *ROUGH*! 😂 I peeked over to see if the sauce and condiment bar was still there, and it was…but it wasn’t. Their excuse is that since the pandemic, the bar never came back. We all know it was cost-cutting, which I didn’t appreciate *at all*. I *always* used the sauce and condiment bar every time I came to Quiznos. I decided to quench the Traditional down with some Powerade, and chomped on some Mrs. Vicks’ Salt and Vinegar kettle chips. It was *always* my “usual”. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, sans the omission of the sauce/condiment bar, so I think 4/5 stars is justified.
A poem: Ah, my Chicken Carbonara, a toasted dream from Quiznos' fading gleam! Once a beacon, now a haunt, its presence, a diminishing taunt. How I yearn for that creamy art, a recipe etched upon my heart. With chicken, bacon, Alfredo's sigh, beneath a toasted, mozzarella sky. A raven's shadow, Quiznos fell, a slow descent, a mournful knell. Each shuttered door, a lover's tomb, sealing away that rich perfume. Yet, in this culinary blight, a flicker, a hope, a nascent light! Perhaps a renaissance we'll see, and Carbonara, back to me! For in that taste, a magic lies, a Phoenix rising to the skies. Toasty rebellions are built on hope. Thank you for keeping the flame alive Quiznos.
I ordered an Italian Salad for delivery via a food delivery app. My work has a bulk order service and my order came with a few others as well. The Italian Salad is $8 and the size is relatively small. The presentation is horrible. See photos. They put meat and melted cheese on top. Doesn't look appetizing.... But the salad was very delicious. I would order the Italian salad again.
I used to love Quiznos so much when we had two locations in Mesquite until they disappeared over ten years ago. Really been missing them and thought Subway (while good for curbing the appetite) just does not compare to these deliciously crafted and toasted sandwiches. Sat the 7th, I was surprised to have found another location in Collin county and had to come make a stop before they close. There were no customers, the place was clean and one young lady was working. I asked for a turkey bacon guac with red wine vinaigrette and a broccoli cheese soup- which kinda is my complaint. Like the location on Josey Lane, they were not cooking on mid to low heat in a pot. They were in plastic bags from the lower mini fridges and both took their time squeezing the soup to the max level in the to-go bowls, and that eventually would have to take home and reheat. But it was good though not the best. The sandwich however was excellent! Felt ten+ years younger as it tastes just how I remembered! I believe there is always room and time for improvement. But I truly hope Quiznos will make a comeback.
Nice experience, not busy on a week day. The store was struck in the past, they still have not upgraded to the current trend. Cost of their sandwich, soups are pricier when compared with other food chains. Their breads, soups used to be the best, felt some difference now. I tried their food again after a decade or so. The service staff is friendly but not sure they're knowledgeable on promotions, didn't tell us will get free sandwich after installing their app, enrolled in rewards program first time. Otherwise would get better rating.
I love Quiznos, and the fact there is one close to home was exciting. The service here is amazing, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. However, I don't know if Quiznos is starting to fail or is hurting for money, but the prices have grown kind of insane. A small (8") sub, a small cup of soup, and a water was $22.60. Over $26 with a 15% tip. I can get a steak dinner at Chili's for that price, this is just a small sub and a small soup for lunch. Crazy pricey for honestly food that has gone down hill. Years ago their peppercorn steak was the standard for good subs. Now the meat is chewy and rubbery. My assumption is they switched providers to a cheaper provider while simultaneously increasing the price. No bueno, bad combo. Either way, as much as I loved coming here, I probably won't come back unless someone else pays.
Excited to see Quiznos since there aren't very many around. Paid $27 for large and medium sandwiches . No wonder most Quiznos are no longer in business.
There are signs all over suggesting to skip the line. There was no line. There were no online orders. The only staff person seemed to be waiting to close. Great Sammies though! Go, you won't have to wait. The time consuming part is choosing which sandwich you want.
The honey bacon club was always my go-to sandwich. I ordered one again for my first time in a while, but it just wasn't the same. The one glaring issue was the quality of the turkey. It looked and tasted very cheap. The rest of the sandwich was good, other than the fact the meat portion put on was light. Maybe that was a good thing. The cost of the reg size was $11.59. The $5 first time app coupon made me feel a little less ripped off. Without that it was extremely overpriced. The young lady that served the sandwich was very friendly.
Show up during hours posted on door. Not open again. Lady inside just waves you off Really crappy way to run a business. Can see why they all closed down.
Quiznos used to be my favorite sandwich chain. I’m glad I at least have memories of how good it used to be. This location feels like it’s barely surviving, and after my recent experience, I can understand why. The empty “flavor station” and Covid signs make this store feel like it’s stuck in 2020. Do they know that the pandemic ended? Even at lunchtime, it was quiet, and the store felt tired. One of the first things I noticed was how much more expensive it’s become. Simple signs printed on plain white paper were taped to the glass advertising prices for various combos and sides. These amateur signs lead me to believe this location is not getting a lot of support or oversight from corporate. $5 for a bottled drink? $4.50 for a bag of chips? Yikes! No wonder the restaurant was empty. I can get a much better deal from any of their competitors. For just two regular sandwiches — no chips or drinks — I paid $25. The sandwiches were not nearly as good as I remember them being in the past. The bread didn’t taste fresh and they used bacon bits instead of bacon slices. I’m sad about it, but I’m sure I won’t be back. I can get better food for a better price elsewhere.
Does this location have a business phone number like any other regular business should? The number listed is out of service. I’ve called several times at different times of day and nobody ever answers! Came in to grab a couple sandwiches and was extremely disappointed with the service! The employee here is not properly trained and failed to include items in the bag that I paid for. I also noticed the bread was not toasted and was very dry and did not have all of the toppings like it was supposed to. You need to hire somebody else. People that are more qualified and willing to put the effort to do their job right! I will be needing a full refund for this!!!!
Worst experience ever. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!! read all the 1 star reviews, I definitely should've read them before .The lady who was there on June 29th has the worst customer service made my order completely difficult and didn't give me all my change she closed the register before giving me all my change do better Plano Quiznos. Since when did it become ok to steal a customers change? that's exactly what it is not giving them there coins but the dollars. 0 out of 10. You do not decide to keep a customer's change she was so difficult. Update it's been a week and no one has gotten back with me, they only post like they care and are going to look into the situation.
We like Quiznos but this location is so slow. It usually takes 10-15 minutes to get a sandwich even if your the only person there! The lady that works here is very nice and she does her best but she is the only one working. It’s hard for her to do everything. The owner should consider getting her help!
