One of the first things I noticed when looking at the restaurants menu and website is that the owner's focused on making sure guests follow the dining experience he envisioned. You need to follow the rules he shares or take your business elsewhere, which is something I respect and appreciate. The shrimp appetizer was very good. It was crispy and the creamy sauce gave it a unique flavor. The Ramen was excellent. Creamy broth! This fusion of Japanese ramen and a subtle Italian style was very enjoyable.

The ramen was very good, broth was very flavorful and the pork was well portioned and tender. The style of noodles are not my favorite compared to noodles I’ve had at other ramen spots, taste almost like thin Chinese egg noodles, but nonetheless it was still enjoyable. Will be definitely be back again.

Excellent place! We were visiting Dallas, and came here following a recommendation. Spicy chicken was very spicy but also very delicious, Garlic pork also incredible! The staff is so attentive and friendly. The owner gave us complimentary desserts too -- nice gesture fully topping our already amazing experience, we will absolutely be back! Thank you Edit: came back a year later, still as delicious as we remembered. Also you can ask for spice on the side and that makes all the difference being able to control the level :)

Food is always amazing. Their shoyu ramen is one of my favorites. We tried their karage curry and it’s really tasty. We didn’t have a wait time because we had an early dinner but there is usually at least a 15-20 min wait time during rush hours.

🍜 Not sure where to begin! I love ramen. I’ve visited all the top spots in North Texas, Austin and look for any place I can find when I travel domestically. This place continues to be my favorite. Chef Akira makes some amazing ramen loved by every single person I’ve brought over the years. The SHIO ramen will be thicker, a little salty and just the classic ramen to try on your first visit. The SHOYU ramen has some more flavors mostly with soy sauce and a paste if you get it spicy. My personal favorite after many visits is the Spicy Pork Garlic Shoyu Ramen with extra chasu (pork). That said, my kiddos always love their dumplings, edamame and chicken shio ramen. For the more tenured customers, Yoshi or chef may extend an invite to their special chef menu nights. On those nights, chef akira revisits his past chef days in pasta for Italian or French cuisine and brings together a great 5+ course menu with a great wine pairing. If you were blown away by the food, go to the store next door and buy chef a classic black bottle of JD 🥃 (also seen perched on the top wall) as a thanks for their amazing work. 頂きます! (FYI there is an opening fee for BYOB, I don’t fully recall — more importantly, you can only be seated in parties of 4 or less)

Great appetizer and great ramen My egg in the ramen is a bit over cooked but the flavor overall still very good. My husband loved his pork rice bowl. We will be back ! The fine print on the menu is in red ! No party more than 4, no running around kids, no loud cellphone conversation! There are rules in the this restaurant, make sure you are aware of them before you go.

This is a small, high quality, and lovely ramen shop. They also have curry that is very flavorful. The chef really shows that he cares about the food he puts out (you can see the kitchen). There isnt much seating for a big party but coming with 2-4 people shouldn't be a problem. The food comes out quickly and the quality level is always excellent. This is my go to ramen shop when I want a good bowl (not the cheapest place but worth it). Definitely recommend going here.

We had an early dinner on a Saturday night and we ordered the Deep Fried Gyoza, Pork Shoyu Ramen, Garlic Pork Shoyu Broth Ramen, and the Garlic Pork Shio Broth Ramen. The broth is really good. Overall the ramen tasted great. The place is beautiful with stunning murals on 2 walls. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have table seating and seats at the counter. We ordered 4 ramen bowls, but they forgot one when they brought it out. They quickly made the other bowl and served it. The prices are a little higher than other ramen places and if you want extra toppings, there's an additional charge... which can ring up a high bill.

The food here was pretty mediocre in my opinion. Kept hearing about it and wasn't impressed. Kind of weird to order a spicy pork shoyu with all the ingredients at the bottom. There were multiple noodles that were sticking together and the noodles were a bit mushy. The broth did make up for my review from a two star to a three star though. I did try the beef tataki and again, wasn't impressed. I think everyone should give it a try though before going off my review since we all have different taste buds. Some of you guys might actually like this place. It isn't a 4+ rated place for nothing.

Pretty funny that they don't allow parties with more than 4 people, because it was completely empty at lunch time on a Saturday lol Anyway, my boyfriend and I got the same thing, essentially tonkotsu ramen. I don't understand the hype; people saying it's the best ramen in DFW must've never had Oni. The broth was extremely bland (I joked that it was the healthiest tasting ramen I've ever had, which is not a compliment), the egg, which you have to pay $3 for, was overcooked (probably because they inexplicably bury the whole egg under all the noodles which keeps cooking it), and the piece of pork was tiny, mostly fat, and also hidden at the bottom of the bowl. Contrary to what it looks like in my photo, I was not, in fact, just eating a mountain of green onions in broth. This is the only ramen place that I've been to that buries all the toppings under the noodles. Service was fine. Wouldn't come back.
