Situl arheologic din Cartagina, aflat pe coasta Tunisiei, păstrează ruinele unei civilizații antice care a influențat profund istoria mediteraneană. Printre vestigii se numără porturile punice, Tophetul, băile romane ale lui Antonin și ruinele de pe colina Byrsa, care ilustrează continuitatea dintre perioadele punică, romană și creștină. Lugar precioso con vistas espectaculares al Mediterráneo. Estuve con un grupo escolar y no tuvimos mucho tiempo pero agradecí la visita de todos modos. Un lugar recomendable si paras en Tunez.

Este yacimiento arqueológico es un lugar que recomendamos visitar en Túnez, ya que hay mucha historia detrás de las ruinas. Muy llamativo el puerto de forma circular, y los baños. Lo mejor es ir con un guía que os cuente su historia y curiosidades.

Estuvimos en este lugar cuando viajamos a Túnez y nos encantó. Contratamos esta excursión en el Hotel y estuvo genial. A los que le gusten las ruinas antiguas con columnas e historia es su lugar. Indispensable visitar en Túnez, recomendado.

Las ruinas son muy bonitas. Las termas impresionantes. La entrada cuesta 12dinares tunecinos, 3,60€. Una pena que no esté tan bien cuidada como debería pues puedes pisar los mosaicos que están en bastante mal estado por esto mismo.

Impresionante lugar lleno de ruinas (paredes y algunas columnas), donde al pasear puedes ver su historia y ponerle mucha imaginación. Lugar histórico. Es un placer poder ver con tus ojos todo esto, y después ademas, visitar el museo del bardo. Tienes que comprar la entrada, que te valdrá para todo en un dia y poder visitar toda cartago (desde el balneario- que es justo aqui. Al teatro, viviendas antiguas, etc etc).

After visiting Tunis, we made our way to Carthage. It’s a smaller site, and unfortunately, one of the locations was closed during our visit. The entrance ticket was 12 dinars per person. Even so, Carthage offers fantastic photo opportunities, especially on a sunny day. If you’re planning a quick visit, you can easily explore the site in about 20 to 25 minutes. There are also restroom facilities on-site, and both inside and outside, you’ll find shops with lovely handmade crafts to purchase. I’d definitely recommend visiting for some beautiful pictures and a touch of history

Beautiful place full of history and marble columns. Watch out for scorpions. It’s a beautiful archeological site near the sea. I am a bit worried about it’s conservation since it is in open space and people are still sitting on the columns and climbing the wals.

Interesante si buscas ruinas romanas.

Absolutely incredible experience - these sites are amazing, they aren’t busy at all and you can pretty much walk wherever you want around the ruins. It is a real shame that a lot of the sites haven’t been maintained well and are a bit overgrown. Also there is a lack of information about some of the sites - for example, there is an incredible ruin of an Odeon (ancient theatre) which was the largest in Ancient Rome but there are no plaques/information boards about it. Definitely read up before you go and bring your imagination. But if you like history, seeing these sites will be an epic experience.

Could be better maintained. Grasses and weeds growing all over the archeological site, hindering the view of some of the construction. Some places smell wonderful though, thanks to the vegetation. Just the over grown weeds should be taken care of so as to improve the guest experience.

Quello di Cartagine è un sito storico di grandissimo valore: rovine puniche, romaniche e paleocristiane che raccontano millenni di storia. Tuttavia ci sono delle criticità che meritano di essere segnalate: alcune parti delle rovine sono meno ben conservate, i pannelli informativi non sono sempre completi o in lingue multiple, il che può rendere difficile cogliere tutto il contesto storico. Per questo gli assegno 4 stelle su 5.

Muy bonito pero pequeño , se ve en menos de 30 minutos. Tiene tiendas en la calle para comprar regalos o recuerdos.

Ruinas de antigua ciudad punica, Cartago. En el pasado tenia una rol muy importante, fue destruida por los romanos y reedifaca posteriormente. El sitio fue declarado Patrimonio de Humanidad Unesco en 1979. En el presente queda muy poco, como decia Caton, Carthago delenda est. Aun asi merece la pena verlo.

Detrás de las Termas se encuentra el Parque Arqueológico, donde la cuadrícula rectangular de calles muestra claramente el trazado del barrio residencial del Cartago Romano. El parque refleja la larga historia de Cartago, con tumbas púnicas de los siglos VI y V a.C., la Basílica de Douimès de cinco naves que data del siglo VI d.C. y una capilla funeraria subterránea (la Chapelle Sainte-Monique) del siglo VII. . Por todo el sitio se encuentran los restos de cisternas romanas, y debajo de un árbol hay una gran cantidad de «balas de cañón» de piedra caliza; antiguos proyectiles de arsenales cartagineses.

It is recommended to buy a combined ticket (around 12 to 15 Tunisian dinars) which gives access to several areas of the site, such as the Antonine Baths, the Byrsa Hill, the Punic Ports, and the Roman Theatre. Plan to spend at least two to three hours to fully enjoy your visit. The best time to go is early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when the light enhances the ruins and the temperature is more pleasant. Since the different sites are spread out across the city, it is preferable to go by car to move easily from one area to another. An unmissable destination for all lovers of history and beautiful discoveries!

The Carthage sites are so impressive due to its historical significance . You are literally walking through time Sadly the place has not been preserved.The trees are not trimmed. There is trash at places. The all in one tickets allows you to enter all of the sites in Carthage.

Great historic site to check out if you are visiting Tunis. The Carthage ancient baths are intresting considering their age and the gardens around are well kept. However, be mindful with the photos - there are a few places where they are forbidden. This could lead to some unpleasent situations.

This complex houses a major part of the Roman ruins in Tunis. For 12 TND, you get the access to all the sites during the day. Expect to do a lot of walking and the place can be crowded during the morning hours.

It’s very spread out and closed at 5:00pm. Need to get organized if you want to see multiple sites. I got my ticket at museum, which was closed for renovation, for 12 denars, that covers all the sites. The neighborhood is nice and pleasant to walk, but better to have a private transportation to ferry you among the sites. If you are coming from Tunis, beware that the train is not running and public bus 347 is very crowded and does really run on time.

Il sito archeologico di Cartagine in sé è un'esperienza assolutamente da fare se si visita la Tunisia. Si respira aria di storia tra le sue rovine, che però in alcuni punti non vengono bene valorizzate e conservate. I vari siti della città sono distanti tra loro ed è quindi impossibile visitare il sito turistico a piedi, inoltre non ci sono mezzi di collegamento come navette o trenini in grado di portare i turisti da un sito all'altro. Gli spostamenti devono essere effettuati tramite taxi o auto privata. All'interno dei siti, ad eccezione di un paio, o nelle zone limitrofe inoltre non ci sono attività commerciale dove poter mangiare!

Realmente son las peores ruinas de todo Túnez, las termas de Antonino están bien y las vistas desde las ruinas de Cartago, el resto...

Una pena la falta de nuevas excavaciones y señalización. Por lo demás las termas son imprescindibles y el lugar, frente al mar las hacen unicas

Para ser el principal atractivo de Túnez, está muy señalizada su entrada principal.

Hay varios puntos que visitar pero de las ruinas queda bastante poco, no lleva mucho tiempo y se puede hacer una visita rápida, pero merece más la pena ver Douga.

De Cartago no queda nada, ya se encargaron los romanos en su momento. Es una visita decepcionante. Las termas de Antonino, tan en ruinas que solo son visibles los cimientos de los sótanos, por el contrario , reflejan la gloria del imperio romano, y aunque es un pálido reflejo, fue tan grande el brillo que aún deslumbran.

Lo único que merece algo la pena son las termas de Antonino. Muy mal conservado. Nada que ver con Dugga y El Djem.

Apenas queda nada, no tuvimos suerte con el guía, con un buen guía quizás pueda llegar a ser una visita interesante por su relevancia histórica.

Bueno..., pues muy desorganizado, ruinas mal conservadas y exparcidas por todos los lados. Algo de mala impresión y muy mala atención por parte del personal del lugar

Sinceramente, a mí no me han gustado mucho cómo lo tienen. He visto que la conservación es casi nula, ningún cartel explicativo de las estancias de las casas o parte de la ciudad que vas visitando, algunas ruinas reconstruidas de forma que han destridludo el encanto del original. Mi opinión es que no merece mucho la pena pagar los 12 TND para ver lo que tienen allí, si ya has visto otras ruinas anteriores.

Me decepcionó. Yo esperaba ver las ruinas de una ciudad cartaginesa y tan solo estaban las termas de Antonino en muy ruinoso estado. Si ya has visto las termas de Caracalla en Roma, estas no tienen nada nuevo que ofrecer

Un site historique laissé à l’abandon Très déçu de ma visite à Carthage. Le billet coûte 12 dinars mais rien ne justifie ce prix. Le site manque totalement d’entretien et de considération pour les visiteurs : pas de plan, pas d’explications, aucune organisation. On marche beaucoup pour finalement ne rien voir de vraiment mis en valeur. Carthage mérite mieux que cet abandon. En l’état, c’est une perte de temps, d’argent et d’énergie. Je ne recommande pas du tout.

La museografía es muy pobre, faltan explicaciones. No se puede pedir todo, es cierto, pero la ayuda al visitante/viajero independiente es mínima o inexistente. Para ir es ideal ir en grupo con guía o alquilar un coche porque los sitios de interés están alejados unos de los otros.
