After a game of airsoft, we're really hungry. We stumbled upon this place by chance, but we felt right at home. The lady in the kitchen is excellent, the gentleman at the bar is fantastic, and the dining room staff is incredibly friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for simple, traditional cuisine.

This restaurant was chosen purely by chance, given its proximity and the reviews. I can certainly confirm the excellent ratings the place already has. A simple place, where love for their work, courtesy, and passion for food allow places like this to continue to exist. The price is perhaps a bit steep, if you really want to make the review 100% authentic, but we ate wonderfully, so we can turn a blind eye.

The place is a parish church. We were there for an event. I didn't have high expectations, but I was completely blown away by the quality of the food, from the fried gnocco with saluti, to the ravioli, to the braised beef with polenta... everything was delicious! Well done!!!

It's always a pleasure to come to lunch at this osteria, with seasonal, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes. The menu includes a first course, second course, and side dish; there are several options to choose from. If you're passing by, don't hesitate to stop by; it'll be an excellent, well-rounded lunch, with excellent service too. Well done, keep it up! 😉

My family and I ate here on Easter Monday, expecting a simple menu of medium to low quality, considering the holiday and the crowd. It was a surprise! The welcome was excellent, as was the entire service. The staff was friendly, helpful (especially with the kids), and always smiling. Appetizers: excellent quality cold cuts, nervetti (superb), and other delicious dishes. First courses: rice with shrimp and zucchini (which, when we first heard it, didn't exactly excite us, but it was actually the best we'd ever had with these ingredients!), tagliatelle with ragù (homemade, delicious), and the main course: homemade ravioli stuffed with braised meat (phenomenal! Must try!). Second courses: veal with herbs (very fresh, unique), roast (a simple dish, but the meat was excellent), and lamb chops Milanese-style (never heard of it, never eaten it, spectacular!!!). The side potatoes were delicious, and even though we were bursting at the seams, we finished them all! Fruit and Dessert: a choice of various options. We had some very good strawberries, with cream. The house wine was excellent! Coffee included. Adults paid €25 and children €10, eating exactly the same food, without portion reductions! 👍

On a rainy evening, they welcomed 12 runaways looking for good food without warning. The place was unpretentious, with plenty of food and service tailored to our needs. We left feeling full and satisfied, right at home.

The food was decent, with plenty of oil, and clearly everything was very tasty. We weren't thrilled. Let's forget about the service, the timing, and the atmosphere was just okay. Well, from my perspective, I'll delete it and we're fine. Good luck.

We arrived late on a Sunday for lunch. We were the only guests present. The outside of the place is terrible, but unfortunately, the inside doesn't improve. The staff is friendly, but it's definitely not enough. Being in a remote village like Calvenzano doesn't help, and without added value like ambiance and quality, promotion is impossible. Personally, no on all fronts.

On December 24th, despite our reservation, they didn't tell us that the heating wasn't working due to renovations. We ate in the cold. Terrible treatment.
