An excellent family-run restaurant, where you can feel the warmth of home. The famous "aunt" is always friendly and attentive to every need and request. The food is exceptional, with authentic flavors and an attention to detail that makes all the difference. As soon as we arrived, we found croutons on the table, promptly replenished by the "aunt" herself whenever they ran out. There were four of us and we weren't familiar with the place, but we relied on other customers' reviews. We decided to give it a try and were thrilled. Here's what we ordered: Appetizer: • Mixed cured meats First courses: • 3 tagliatelle with Fassona ragù • 1 ravioli with braised meat ragù Second courses (recommended by the legendary aunt): • Braised Angus beef with polenta (my favorite dish) • Tripe with polenta • Rabbit with baked potatoes • Roast with baked potatoes Desserts (made directly by the aunt): • 2 classic tiramisu dishes served in a glass • 1 tart-style tiramisu (very popular) Of course, water, wine, and coffee were also included. You're probably wondering: how much did we spend? On Saturday, we paid only €26 each for lunch, leaving with full bellies and, above all, a smile! We hope this review will inspire new people to discover this corner of our home, just as it brought us (four runaways) to a place where we're treated with kid gloves and nothing is missing. I have visited 'La Cassina' on April 19th for my birthday. My girlfriend and her family treated me to a birthday meal. I must say this restaurant is a 'hidden gem'. The atmosphere was extremely warm and welcoming. Giuseppe and the staff really went the extra mile and served us the most amazing dinner. We had cozze (muscles), Fritto misto and so many other dishes from the set menu. I highly recommend this 'hidden gem' located in Cascina Bianca, south of Milan. If you have a car, please go there for lunch, or dinner you will not regret it. Book in advance as this place is very popular and researched and is often fully booked. I will go back there.

I discovered this wonderful traditional trattoria for lunch with my sweetheart. We ordered a delicious mixed antipasto with cotechino cured meats, served with homemade mashed potatoes and a delicious fried zucchini flower. It was very hearty and homemade, so we ordered a first course: fettuccine with wild boar and ravioli with ricotta and burrata cheese and saffron cream. Everything was delicious, with a home-made flavor. I also recommend the wonderful homemade tarts. Highly recommended and well-priced. The traditional setting is also excellent.

Warm, homey, and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent wine list. Simple, family-run establishment, courteous and helpful. The meat is high quality with excellent value for money. Very authentic cuisine in the heart of the Pavia countryside. The menu offers a wide selection of both meat and seafood, although I wasn't entirely convinced by the latter. The homemade desserts are balanced and fragrant. The service was penalized not by the staff but by the unclear bill, excessive in some respects and not well-defined with the various... a high score, however. Definitely prefer the meat or menu they recommend with various price ranges. If you decide to order à la carte, make sure you understand how the courses are added to the bill.

A very crowded restaurant in a traditional setting. The dishes are mostly traditional Padana Valley cuisine, cooked to perfection. If you're a discerning diner, you'll feel right at home and enjoy a decent meal. Fair prices and quick service. A special mention goes to the chocolate and salted caramel tart, which is sublime.
