A typical restaurant with a vintage feel. The focaccia is highly recommended: light, fragrant, and just the right amount of salty. Fresh and tasty draft beers, a wide selection. The restaurant isn't large, but it's very quaint. Friendly staff.

On Monday, June 23rd, I went to Rex Bibendi with my partner, booking online with two coupons: one for a new beer and one for a new toastie. When we got there, after taking our order, they blurted out that the coupons couldn't be combined, something never specified online, and they handled the situation in the most horrendous way possible, despite us being the only table there. The most incredible thing? They weren't even capable of offering us an alternative, since they'd already brought our beer. They could have offered to bring us the toasties anyway and perhaps charge me for an extra beer, but no: total incompetence and zero customer service. In the end, we ordered the two beers with the coupon and a plate of mini Rosti, which turned out to be a complete joke: 10 small, round pieces of about 2 cm, fried (when rosti should never be fried), and, what's more, they weren't even homemade rosti, but simply frozen potato croquettes. All this for 8 euros, or 80 cents a piece, an outrageous price for such poor quality. To top it off, there wasn't even a napkin at the table. Considering that the rosti were fried and left oil everywhere, not being able to clean our hands was simply ridiculous and disrespectful. I was deeply disappointed by an experience that I would describe as terrible in every way: service, food quality, and customer service. I will never set foot in this place again and I strongly advise against it to anyone who wants to avoid being ripped off.
