Good food, good atmosphere, great views, and oysters. Friendly waiters, the cheesecake could be improved, but everything else was great.
A great place to eat overlooking the Eo estuary, with excellent food and service. They also allow pets on the terrace, which is a real advantage for those of us traveling with our "friends."
We ate in the bar area, where they have two or three tables. The food was well prepared and the portions were generous. The monkfish was perhaps a little dry, but everything else was fine. Prices were commensurate with a coastal town overlooking the port (a little higher than they deserve). It's definitely a recommended place.
Fantastic place to stop for lunch overlooking the Eo River in Castropol. The fried seaweed, mussels with chorizo, and cachopo were spectacular; the blue cheesecake was delicious. Plus, the waiter who served us was wonderful, and the biker-themed decor was really cool.
A spectacular place, a very peaceful atmosphere, top-notch cuisine and produce, wonderful service, you pay what you get, no more, no less, a variety of fish, clams, sardines, oysters, barnacles... José is a professional, and so is his team. They never disappoint.

Spectacular.
Awesome place. Nice patio and outdoor dinning area. Everything is really fresh and cooked from scratch. Loved the seafood and fish. They also do amazing seafood paellas. Views are unique.
A restaurant with a lovely and pleasant decor where the food is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. Of the dishes we tried, the calamari was a 10/10, the croquettes a 6/10, both rice dishes a 9/10, and the desserts a 9/10.
If you pass through this village, do not hesitate to eat here, the service is impeccable and the products excellent, for your information the kitchen opens at 1:30 p.m.
Not the best restaurant around in terms of quality nor portion, but still a solid choice with a great view.
I had the menu. The soup was awesome: garbanzos, bacalao, and spinach in a flavorful broth accompanied by generous chunks of pan integral. The fried potatoes and chicken patties that followed were somewhat boring. The meal needed vegetables as well.
The waiter tried to be helpful, and the food my girlfriend got was, she said, tasty, even if it wasn't much to look at. Please note though, there's nothing vegetarian here and they don't know how to improvise - not even potato fries or a tomato salad.
It's a beautiful view from the restaurant, but croquettes wasn't salt enough. Pulpo a la planchas was very good and tastefull.
We originally reserved a table for 10 people, then confirmed that we would be 12. We arrived by boat from Ribadeo for our 2pm reservation only to be told we had booked their sister restaurant on the other side of Castropol. This is NOT true... We were all in Indiana costume and in 27 degrees we had to walk 15 mins uphill to their other restaurant, Complejo Peñamar. The menu del dia was 38€!!! Our bill per head was 45€, outrageous for what we had. We then had to walk back to the other side of Castropol to get the boat back to Ribadeo. This treatment and experience completely ruined our day.
