We, a party of 3 Kiwi's from New Zealand called in here with a reservation at 6.30pm. We were welcomed so warmly, the drinks, food and service was so impecable. When the bill came I had to ask if they had missed something of as it was remarkably good for what we received, and they really look after their locals too.
Had a great dinner. I ordered off the happy hour options (calamari & sausage and peppers) while my wife had Diablo shrimp pasta. All was great and a shoutout to our waiter Josh for recommending the calamari. One note: if I could have one issue the presentation of the calamari needs some work.
I absolutely loved Trilussa’s. I was in Palm Springs for business and one of the locals recommended this restaurant! The staff are very welcoming, the atmosphere is laid back, they had live music indoors, I sat on the patio because the weather was perfect! I had the house Pinot Noir and Spaghetti and Meatball. The food was amazing. They offered us a complimentary after dinner drink which I thought was a nice gesture. The staff are very attentive and I just cannot express how much I enjoyed dining here.
This is a very nice Italian restaurant between the Mary Pickford Theater and The Roost Bar. They have a happy hour at the bar with smaller plates, but I prefer the main restaurant's full dishes. I have eaten here 10 times and never a complaint. They have outdoor seating when weather is good. There is a lot of parking nearby.
Very nice Italian restraunt with a great selection of meals. Had the seafood rosotto and it was excellent. Very fresh assortment of seafood. Nice bottle of Italian red wine. They had live background music playing. Outside patio looked great but too much wind tonight. Waiter was very good and prompt. Nice touch of complementary Amaretto or Sambuca after dinner.
Great was everything—but the noise level is a tad over the top!’
Always good food. Never rushed, even when busy.
The service is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and well made. Highly recommended!
Always a place we stop at when in Palm Springs area. Great food and service.
Fabulous food and large portions too, with excellent staff and beautiful outdoor seating under the heaters.
Trilussa brought a smile to my Tuesday evening. The music duo singing near the bar was a nice welcome and the whole place was buzzing with conversation and the smell of pasta. Attentive service complemented a prawn special that was a sheer delight coming from a busy weeknight kitchen. I would have had dessert but couldn’t indulge. Our table, however, was surprised with a complimentary after dinner drink which made our time there end with a content exhale. We all walked out knowing we’d find that corner of the valley again.
Excellent food and service in a pleasant atmosphere. They had a $39 dinner special for Restaurant Week that included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I got the Caesar salad, veal Marsala, and chocolate cake, while my wife got a Caesar salad, lasagna, and carrot cake. Portions were generous (huge slices of cake!) and the food was delicious. Additionally, our waitress, Ana, was attentive and personable. We’ll be back!
Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Do go. I enjoyed this fibers restaurant quite a lot. I would go back.
Cozy place and wonderful servers. Couldn’t be any better for our kids quiet 4th bday.
The pasta taste very good. The baby green is very fresh. Love this place!
Great Italian restaurant! Food was spectacular, and ambiance was wonderful. We ate at the counter, a guitarist was playing, and the wait staff is great.
We love this restaurant. On our most recent visit we had the price fix menus for $29.99. A fabulous way to try so many delicious items. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and there are an abundance of heaters or blankets if you have a need. All the servers were very attentive and the wine selection was superb!
Excellent service and atmosphere, happy hour is the best! Wagyu sliders are amazing !
I was invited with a friend to try this incredible restaurant and I'm so glad I did. The menu is very well-thought-out and full of incredible selections you won't find in typical Italian restaurants. They have a great selection of beautiful wines by the glass. The energy is incredible they had wonderful live music and The staff was super knowledgeable. You will absolutely love this place if you haven't tried it
My new favorite restaurant in the desert. My guest & I ate there 2 evenings in a row. I have never done that ever before. We ate different food both nights. DELICIOUS ! A large beautiful place with a quieter large patio as well. Go online & reserve the time you want to go. It is very popular.
Diet starts tomorrow **shovels cannelloni into mouth** For this I must lift the veil of fitness and speed. Sink the signet ring into warm wax to depress a symbol of delusional supremacy. Our father had gone to bed early, shake the VCR. Cleopatra only cries for none. Mandrakes sway under the blind sun, stirring Spanish cocktail recipes. **Clink glasses**
We have dinner regularly at Trilussa before performances at the CV Repertory. It never disappoints. Service is efficient (if not overly friendly). The atmosphere is refined, albeit noisy during the busy times. Most importantly, however, the food is consistently excellent.
BEST Italian food EVER!! I mean dang! Made a early reservation, if you want a booth ya gotta reserve in advance. Hostess, Mariska?, sat us after a couple rounds at the killer deal happy hour time at the bar$😃 Helpful hint, it's a great deal from 4 to 7 daily...are you kidding me🍺🥂. Josh, our server, showed up with fresh bread and olive oil with minced olives OMG. We had a cesear salad... awesome and authentic...could've had a huge bowl! Then dinner, I had lasagna...simply the very best ever and I eat a ton out (look at my reviews) so it's a bold statement. My wife had prawns with capalinni so good. Then taramasu for desert...sooo good! What an experience...make this a stop if your local or just visiting.
This is the place my folks have coined there anniversary celebration restaurant. This year was #48! (You know, that rarity these days🙄) The food was purely heaven! My 2 niece's were with us, 10 & 4. Picky eaters... and they couldn't contain there choosy taste buds asking for bites of all our dishes. To top off a wonderful and hearty experience, cannoli... OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thank you Trilussa for another wonderful evening. Your staff was more than accommodating and extremely detail oriented. Stars cannot rate Trilussa, you will not be disappointed.
Wow absolutely wonderful gay friendly italian dinner restaurant great service amazing food ! i highly recommend!! its such a great place
Love the early dinner prices! 29.99 for appetizer, main dish, and dessert! Delicious!!!
A classic Italian restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere. We made a reservation for outdoors at night and it felt warm because they have lots of heaters outside!! Our waiter was very kind and patient with us as we took our time to order. As for the food, the bruschetta is amongst the best and all the ingredients are fresh. The Fettuccine Alfredo is… so creamy; so tasty; so great! Loved our experience here! Would definitely recommend!!!!
This place was great! Was able to dine inside via reservation. Rack of lamb was cooked ABSOLUTELY perfect. It came with some mint jelly? that was far too strong for me, but if you like mint, I'm sure it was great. Gf got a chicken dish with white sauce and artichoke hearts and enjoyed it! We got a few mixed drinks, they were done to perfection. Had the tomato, basil and mozzarella app, was different, but good. The oil they drizzled on it was a bit over powering. Everything came out as ordered, correctly and hot. At the end of our night, before leaving they offered a complimentary biscotti? and 2 different shots of flavored liquor - was a great finisher! Wasn't hungry enough for dessert, but this was just right. It says, "casual" dress, but I showed up feeling underdressed because the place is so beautiful!
Oh we had a blast at this place! Drinks, food, ambience and service - everything was perfect! Chicken Marsala here was the best i've ever tasted! Traveling with Kids always end up going to Italian restaurants more than any other place so we were bit reluctant at first but i'm so glad kids forced us in here :-) Definitely recommended if you are in Cathedral City!
Our first visit here and we were impressed! Great service from Elizabeth and the food was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.
Worth the trip the the Palm Springs area just for this restaurant. Personal and family favorite. The tapenade is amazing, but the scampi/prawns over linguini...beyond incredible. Like drink down the sauce delicious. Upper end family atmosphere. Gentle, non-obtrusive live music. I just can't recommend this place highly enough. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Excellent food, drinks and service. The complimentary biscotti and mini snifters of amaretto after the meal were a wonderful surprise. Josh was an excellent server and suggested the carrot cake for dessert. It was among the best I’ve had. We’ll definitely return to TRILUSSA and recommend it highly after our exceptional dining experience.
A friend of ours invited us to dinner this past Saturday. This was our second time, since we don't come to Cat City very often. All of our meals were wonderful; the Caesar salad was chopped which is not common....the dressing as light...we loved it. We forgot how good the food was.....so....now we will be back more often. A special thank you to Brian, who was our waiter. He was helpful, patient and his suggestions were great. G & C Higuchi (the reservation was under the name 'Miriam')
Food, service, ambiance is Excellent.. Highly recommended. My only complaint was when i booked our reservation, I specifically said booth and patio... not only that I didn't get a booth (placed us in the middle - which i hate) it's also inside (this i don't mind at all). I w8sh they would pay attention to the details of the reservation requests...
This is one of those restaurants that when you get the check you are surprised it didn't break the bank. From the Ceasar Salad to the main course to the desert it is more than fairly priced. Their house Cabernet is probably the best, least expensive drinkable red in the valley. $10 for a nice pour is a bargain now adays. Great tasting food. More than fair prices and 5 star service. I would eat there once a week except there is no parking. Next to the theaters you drive around in circles waiting for someone to leave so you can park and go have dinner. 3 times we have gone there for a last minute dinner and couldn't park anywhere so we went elsewhere. We absolutely love this place but we don't stop in as often because we can't park. I even have a handicap pass and these are full. This place has the best food for the best price in the valley and it is harder to find parking compared to finding a reservation. It's still 5 stars though.
It's the end of our stay in Palm Springs and we're sorry we didn't find Trillusa sooner. The 4-5:30 prix fixe menu was quite a deal - appetizer, entree, & dessert for $30. I had mixed green salad, seafood & pasta, & carrot cake. My wife had minestrone soup, eggplant parmesan, & tiramisu. Everything was excellent and the portions were generous without being too big. My wife asked for a prawn add-on to her entree and it wasn't there when her entree arrived. That was quickly corrected, though. The noise level was moderate - enough to notice, but low enough to still carry on a conversation. The lights kept flickering, which was a bit distracting.
Very busy place, but they did honor our reservation. Service was flawless and they didn't rush us to finish our meal even though there were people waiting to be seated. We ordered fish, chicken and pasta and everything was delicious. Wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.
Food was excellent. Bus person had to tell waiter we were waiting to order. Patio with heaters was very pleasant.
Did a 2 day trip to the PS area and scheduled a reservation at Trilussa at 6pm on Dec. 21, 2025. We got seated right away and ordered plenty of wine/beer/appetizers. My wife had the Vodka Rose with Gluten Free Pasta, I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with Prawns (Get this it was $4 for 4 giant prawns!) and my daughter had the Gnocchi. Amazing food all around - great table right by the Christmas tree and awesome service from Andy (I believe that was his name). We ordered dessert and it came with free after dinner liquor and cookies - the amaretto was amazing. Will be back every time we visit PS. Only negatives: Parking lot is pretty small and you will need a reservation on weekend evenings.
I had a wonderful experience at Trilussa's. I put in an order for some grieving family members, and the General Manager reached out directly to help coordinate and support me to make sure everything went through smoothly. I am so grateful and had to share this above and beyond service and experience.
Had the best eggplant parmesan ever. Great service, background music, and atmosphere. Artfully painted wall murals. My new favorite Italian restaurant.
Must do happy hour. Hands down that's the way to experience this restaurant. 4-7 in the bar area only, dedicated large menu featuring many of the best regular menu items but in smaller and shareable portions so you can try a whole bunch. So good
The outside is romantic and great for a lovely dining experience. The inside is a bit noisy but very jolly. The food is really Italian and very good. The best Calimari Fritti in the valley! The Tiramisu is delicious and even though it's a bit pricey itbis well worth it!
I'm pretty sure this is the best restaurant in the Palm Springs area after living here for 3 years. We are regulars here because the food is consistently delicious. They have a happy hour menu every day that can't be beat with great entrees and amazing prices. They also have a sunset menu with seating in the main restaurant at a great value. The water tastes amazing because it's filtered and the staff are always friendly. They always decorate for holidays and the restaurant is always extremely clean and beautiful. I love this restaurant! The staff here are very friendly and they have music one night a week in the bar area.
We had been hearing from friends about this restaurant’s great happy hour, so we decided to try it out and we were not disappointed! Happy hour goes from 3:30 to 7 PM (one of the longest around). You have to sit at the bar to get the happy hour menu, and seating at the bar is limited, so expect to wait a bit on busy days. The happy hour menu is great, with many options for snacks, pizza, salads, and entrees. Portions are smaller than the regular menu (a bit), but a salad and entree were still as much as I could eat. I had the eggplant Parmesan, which was excellent. (The happy hour version is served without pasta). My wife had the salmon with pesto pasta, which was also very delicious. The drinks came out quickly and the martinis were ample enough! We had an amazingly friendly and attentive server, and she really made our evening wonderful. She brought us a complimentary glass of Amaretto and some biscotti after our meal, too! They have live music on some evenings. This restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but if you have a seating preference, I would recommend making a reservation. We will definitely return here again!
My first time at Trilussa and I was very impressed. The staff was welcoming and smiling and the ambiance was gorgeous and inviting. For us “early birds”, the sunset menu was affordable and generous. Pasta Fagioli soup was warm and delicious. Lasagna Bolognese was layered with goodness and packed with flavor. Spaghetti with meatballs was delicious. Meatballs were tender and full of flavor. Carrot cake and Chocolate cake, just scrumptious. We will definitely be returning.
Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, caring staff. When here this evening for an early dinner. Had a delicious rack of lamb which was cooked to order, a wonderfully presented Caesar salad before hand, and a light but delicious cheesecake for dessert. Sorry I didn't get a photo of the salad!
Enjoyed the Happy Hour and then had dinner. Large wine selection. Food is just enough, not too much. The service was great! The only issue was that I called to inquire about Happy Hour and I was told it was too busy, but when we got there, there was lots of room.
Really enjoyed or meal here. Was greeted at the door by happy, smiling faces. Our waiter Josh provided excellent service. Veal cacciatore was delicious as well as the lasagna.
My husband and I went out for a date night here. It was a little busy, but nothing too crazy. We were able to be sat right away. We looked at the menu and decided on what we were going to order. It took the waitress a little while to get to us but we're patient people so no big deal at first. Then we ordered our food when she came. The food also took a little while to come out, but when it did, it was really good. I got the filet mignon and my husband got the margherita pizza. The sauce that goes over the steak was really tasty. After we finished eating, we wanted to order dessert but the waitress didn't come back to our table for a LONG time. When the busser came to refill our waters, we just ordered it with him because we had been waiting so long. The dessert came out in a timely manner. When it was dropped off we asked for the check immediately because we weren't sure how long it would take to get it. The waitress was nice and seemed knowledgeable about the menu but the service was slow. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it seems like all of the servers work both indoor and outdoor at the same time. I think that can cause a delay in service and not allow the guest to have good experiences. They should assign tables by section so the servers aren't running around the entire restaurant and neglecting certain tables.
Easy to locate, but difficult to find parking. Busy with moderate noise level. The food was just good as compared to N.Y.C. little Italy. Fun for groups and service was great.
In the area for an extra long weekend, which also happens to be my husband’s birthday. We are with our two small children and I have to say our evening dinner was a delight. Really which IYKYK is almost impossible. Delicious food. Lovely ambiance. Exhilarating, yet relaxing, live guitarist. Everything is fresh, seasoned well and flavorful. Even for our children. They were very kind and generous. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but it would have been perfect had we not had little ones. I will be coming back. Photo evidence of an entire meal enjoyed is attached. A light lovely birthday dessert.
Enjoyed my meal, could have a better atmosphere and service, but it was okay.
Get reservations. Proper, quaint and an excellent Italian spot. the gnocchi is large and pillowy. The seafood pastas are fresh and herbaceous. Always worth a dinner here.
Amazing food, friendly service, amazing bus staff, always challenged at the pace of a meal. I can't say enough, the food is off the charts when it shows up. Scampi appetizer to die for. Filet mignon entre that melts in your mouth with an unbelievably delicious sauce that I can't quit tasting. Great finish with an aperitif.
The food was wonderful and spoke for itself with my rating of a 5. The staff was a bit slow but still friendly and nice. I just wished the servers and staff were paying more attention to the customers than closing. I get it, its late reservation, but it was available before your opened and was accepted, so some planning and coordination. Don't think i tipped cheap. They still got a 2X% tip, so this is just my honest feedback. I will come back here and eat again and recommend to others as was recommended to me.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great menu selection. Best kept secret is their happy hour with special cocktail and food pricing ... available only in the bar area. Came back here on a Friday at 6pm. Big mistake! The staff were in the weeds. We waited forever to order a drink...finally went to the bar ourselves. Waited another 15 minutes for a server, finally sent the bus boy to find one. At one point there were 16 people waiting to be seated at the door. All that being said, the food was excellent and the bar menu a great value.
Drinks were good, but it was kinda weird they would not let us get the happy hour specials if we were going to eat on the dining area. Food was good. Place was hot, they kept leaving the patio door open, so it felt really hot. Edit; came back and the service was excellent. Food is great!
The atmosphere was fun and had a good vibe. The food was above average but not great. The service was terrible. It was 45 minutes before someone took our order, of which I had to track down our waitress to do so. They forgot drinks and our waitress rarely came by. Reservation was at 6:30. Food came a little after 8pm. I had to track her down to get our bill. We would have ordered dessert but thought it would take too long.
Service was slow, yet staff were standing around doing little. Food okay, but nothing special IMHO.
Went to an early dinner on Mother’s Day. Don’t know if the Manager was having a bad day or if that was just being herself. She was very rude and unwelcoming. We enjoyed our dinner our waiter Lorenzo was very nice and accommodating.. We got there at 4:00 and at 6:00 the Manager came in and said we had to leave, because she had a party to sit at our table. I know that you’re trying to get as many customers as you can in. But that ruined our experience. Maybe you need to spread your reservations, so your guests don’t have the need to be rushed out!
Food was good and vibe was great as well. One thing was weird when I checked in at the counter of the restaurant, they asked me to show my COVID vaccine card which I saw people in front of us and behind of us don’t have to show that either. Even we said we’ve already got the vaccine, they still want to see the card or picture. Don’t know is that the requirement for the restaurant or is something we looked different with others. (We wore masks!!)And that was our first time to be asked the vaccine card when entering a restaurant.
My wife enjoyed the Pasta Primavera. My Veal Parm was just OK. Our waiter Josh was very nice and provided great service.
To be honest we expected more. Pizza is definitely not authentic Italian. It tasted okay but it was cheap style. New Zealand lamb chops were a small portion and you have to ask for a side, it only comes with little greens and a jello that tastes like toothpaste. Service is good. Parking lot was full on Monday evening.
We came here from Morongo Valley after getting married for our honeymoon and the vegan options were awful, even though they looked great online. We just wanted bread and pasta after two days of really hard work getting our property ready, but we were offered gluten-free things instead of vegan, which have nothing to do with each other. We got a cauliflower pizza crust which totally sucked and we think that the regular pizza crust probably was vegan. The staff had no idea what the ingredients were in the food and it was obvious that everything came out of the back of a truck from LA. They had bread that was clearly vegan from the La Brea Sourdough Bakery. But they told us it had egg in it so we sat there not eating it until it got cold. They’re not actually cooking the food here - they’re ‘preparing’ the food, which is embarrassing. Even though the atmosphere is rad, we would never eat here again.
I can't really tell you about the food as we couldn't eat here. No where that we could find did it state you needed reservations. When we arrived we asked how long the wait would be, and she asked if we had reservations. When we said no, she stated "well you need them" and was very abrupt about it. She then said it was about an hour and could wait at the bar or she could seat us outside. When we asked if they had misters (which we would have taken outside seating) she said we have them but they're not on. We asked if they could turn them on, they stated again, they're not on, very rudely. So we walked out thinking i guess they don't need or want our business.
Service was very slow. We had a large table with 13 people and it was. very tight and uncomfortable we, asked to speak to the manager and mentioned those things to the Manager but she did not seem to care, her response was the person who made reservation was told that the table was going to be tight if that was the case we would have opted to go somewhere else. I also mentioned to Chennai past reservations we always bring large parties and that didn't seem to matter either. Gino
Sorry folks but if you think this is good Italian food, you need to get out more. All 3 of our dishes were poor for taste, presentation, and my food was cold. Our server was very nice, but I would never return. Olive Garden might be a step up compared to our meal. Too bad.
We’ve had several nice dinners at Trilussa. However tonight was the exception. We arrived early for an 8:30 reservation. When we checked in, the host told us that our table was still occupied but that we could wait in the bar. At 8:30 we rechecked with the host stand and it was clear that the current host did not know that we had been waiting. We were shown to our table — one of at least 7 available tables in that section of the restaurant. We waited another 15 minutes with no one asking for drink or dinner orders — even though there were several wait staff standing around chatting. We left and went elsewhere. Interestingly, as we left one of the wait staff that had been standing around thanked us for coming.
Bought a pizza to go last night from this place. Holy cow. It was essentially a frozen pizza! Crust hard as a rock! I have truly had better frozen pizzas! Maybe the other dishes are good at this place, but please stay away from the pizza!!!
The worst experience at this restaurant this past Monday I took my family out for dinner we had a reservation at 7 pm everything was fine until we sat at the table for 25 minutes with just water and bread without getting knowledge everyone was going by our table and nobody even say hi or anything I ask one male server if they can open our wine that I had brought and he’s respond was I’ll send your server, it was until 25 minutes later that we got up and left but before we left I let the young lady at the host stand the reason why we were leaving and she smile and said ok bye have a good night, as much as I recommend it in the past lll share this very bad experience with friends and people at my work, very disappointed
Hi, I am resident of this community campanile my home address is 529 via S Ccs so my sincere advice to every single buyer please please don’t buy a house in this stupid community because you will regret it. They have nothing nothing but just building of houses such as suffocating atmosphere no greenery. it’s all concrete jungle only one community pool, which is always dirty and flooded with the people. No parking space available. You cannot park your car in front of your house believe me you can come and sit with me and I can show you practically so this community is nothing and they are robbing you in the name of HOA in the name of Security zero the gates are always open 24 x 7.
This review is strictly for the hostesses. One particular hostess was very rude. I told her I had a reservation for 4 and asked if we could be seated on the patio. She mumbled and said it’s an hour wait. I then asked if we could get a high chair for my 1 year old. She looked at me and said “we don’t have high chairs here” in a negative tone of voice. I asked if she could check (because I’ve never been to a restaurant where there aren’t high chairs) and she just kept saying she’s never seen them there. Thankfully, another hostess came and interrupted her and said that they do in fact have high chairs. This is the second time we’ve been here and the hostesses are rude. We also waited 20-30 min for our table even though we had a reservation. Everything else besides that was fantastic! Food was amazing and our waiter was amazing.
