Very good place, with delicious flavor in all the dishes we ordered and very fast service, plus it has a good atmosphere in keeping with its menu.

Excellent service. I was distracted and didn't ask for the waiter's name, but he's the first person in our lives who's offered us vegetarian options on his own initiative after we mentioned we don't eat meat. He was even careful to point out that some dishes were prepared with animal fat. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was very family-friendly and welcoming.

A beautiful, clean, and atmospheric place. Lovely paintings and photographs. The food is delicious; the Oaxacan tlayuda is a 10/10. The prices aren't too high, and it's a quiet place to chat. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly. The only downside might be that the food takes a little while to arrive, but I think going during off-peak hours solves that problem. I highly recommend it.

The service was very friendly, the dishes were plentiful, and the prices were affordable, just what you paid. For foreigners visiting Hospital 20 de Nov, it's excellent. The location is very good. Better than chain restaurants.

We arrived by chance because almost everything is closed on September 16th. The coffee and hot chocolate included in the breakfast packages were delicious.

Very good seasoning, it tastes like Oaxaca. The place is a bit enclosed, but there are tables outside.

This is my second time here, and I always leave with a happy stomach. I highly recommend it; the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. This time I ordered enmoladas, but before I had a tlayuda with chapulines (grasshoppers) and some chicken breasts. The portions are quite large. And my boyfriend ordered a chile en nogada, which he loved!

If you want to taste the original flavours of Oaxaca this is the perfect place, awesome in flavor and tradition

The food was good, but nothing amazing; the portions were huge. The tortilla chips were awful, soaked in oil. We didn't eat them because they literally tasted like oil. The place is nice, and the servers are friendly.

The food was okay, but it's not something I'd go back for every weekend. The soups (or broths) were salty and cold; we asked them to heat them up, but we didn't even finish them halfway through. The orange juice wasn't natural. There were three waiters, but only one was actually serving the entire restaurant. I asked for a receipt for my meal; I was supposed to receive it on Friday, and I still haven't gotten it. I guess I'll just forget about it. They don't even pay attention to what you ask for. I'm sure there are other dishes that are good, but I won't be back.

The place and the food are very nice. The tasajo (dried beef) has a unique but very tasty flavor. I also loved the salsa. The chocolate and bread were also delicious. The service is very fast. I only found the papaya and guava water bland. And the orange juice didn't taste fresh.

We were looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this restaurant. You can have your dog outside 🐶. The service was very friendly; everyone was great. We ordered a mezcal espadín, which was delicious and a good price. We also ordered caldo Xóchitl, a tamale, and a tlayuda quesadilla. Wow, everything was delicious! The price was fair for the generous portions. The decor is very typical of Oaxaca: clay plates, papel picado (cut paper decorations), and paintings depicting Oaxacan traditions. It's a great place to remember the flavors of this wonderful state. Congratulations to the staff ☺️ Keep up the great service!

If you're looking for authentic Oaxacan flavors in Mexico City, this is the place. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch options, prepared in the traditional way… the hot chocolate and café de olla are made in clay pots. The service might seem a little slow, but that's because the food is prepared to order, which is another plus, as the food is always fresh. I definitely recommend it 👌

My family and I have been frequenting this place for a few months now. We loved the service and the food. But now everything has gone downhill. They've changed staff, and it shows, because the service is now poor. The seasoning and portion sizes have also changed. It's a shame because we considered it a little piece of Oaxaca in the city. I hope they turn things around and can return to what they once were.

The seasoning was acceptable. I ordered chilaquiles with a New York strip steak; the cut wasn't amazing, but it was okay. The chilaquiles were made with regular fried tortillas. I was given papaya juice, and it was too thick and bland. A fruit plate with three slices of papaya, three slices of melon, and a few slices of banana. The coffee was too sweet for my taste. They offer bread, which, of course, costs extra, but I wasn't tempted.

It's a medium-sized place with enough tables. It's not THE Oaxacan breakfast because it's not a unique experience, but it does the trick. The hot chocolate is okay. The tamale was actually quite small. The meat in the chilaquiles looked better than it tasted. Breakfasts are part of a set menu, but whatever. The service is slow, but they're friendly. I doubt I'll return, or who knows, maybe for the tlayudas, but I don't have high hopes for them.

It's sad that they try to take advantage of their customers. The set meal is awful, the soup is salty, they charge $20 for an egg in the rice, and they only give you one glass of water; the next one costs extra. I'm never going back there.

The service is terrible: they take too long to serve the food. They also charge extra for dishes that are poorly prepared and served. For example, they served a consommé with very few vegetables, which was bland and tasteless. They only offered a glass of water without giving you the option to choose a drink, and then charged as if it were a full service. A very unpleasant experience.

The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's a shame the chamorro is dry and tasteless. It really doesn't taste like anything, not even salt, and it's drier than anything. The mole they serve it with tastes like jarred or tetra-pack mole (the kind you get from the supermarket). The garnish doesn't make the restaurant any better if the food isn't delicious, nothing more.

The tlayuda was burnt on the bottom. It was impossible to eat because it was so hard. They also told me there were no glasses of water and that they could only give me bottled water for an extra charge. I left very disappointed, and they filed a complaint with PROFECO for not offering free glasses of water, a requirement all restaurants have, as stipulated by law.
