During those chicken sandwich wars how was Shake Shack not in the conversation? The chicken sandwich here is really good. It’s not all just breading with a good size chicken in the sandwich. Their new Korean style fried chicken was great and should be a must try during its promotional run. This place may be more known for its burgers as it should but their chicken sandwiches are on the same level.
Had what was one of the best burgers ever. Got the Shack Stack... WOW! Fries were perfect and crisp but not over done. Had a strawberry milk shake and it did NOT disappoint! Very satisfied with everything we ordered for the value of a higher priced burger joint.
byron is great! its not often that you get friendly personable attentive service at a fast food place. i left with a smile because of him! 🙏🏽
Went here last week it was very clean the staff were nice and the food was great I totally recommend the bacon burger and cheesy fries they are delicious. The food came in about 8-15 minutes and it tasted great. , would definitely recommend this place.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Shake Shack (Marina Waterway) I had such a great experience at this Shake Shack thanks to Jess! From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel immediately welcome. He even cleaned our table promptly so we could sit comfortably, and throughout our meal he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Jess went above and beyond—offering to refill our drinks, making sure we were satisfied, and treating us with genuine kindness the entire time. It’s rare to find someone so customer-oriented and attentive. His service truly made our visit exceptional. Thank you, Jess, for making our experience wonderful! We’ll definitely be coming back. 🙌🍔✨
I love they have the Pooch Cup! And have taken my dog there in her tutu before for one…Also got the French Onion Shroom Burger last night. I usually don’t care for mushrooms because of experiences tasting other Fungi that taste a certain way, but this burger was really good!! I am vegetarian and actually do not eat real “burgers.” BTW The manager came over to the Massage Envy I was working at the the time located in the Waterside shopping center that is closed due to covid. But, a first impression is a lasting impression….They have always been so friendly the manager gave our staff free shakes right off the bat and free food when they first opened!! Always good vibes there, no drama, bs - just good fast food!
I have been to countless locations over the years and would say this MDR one is one of my very favorites. The staff is especially very friendly and even when there is a line the order never takes very long. One of my favorite things about this chain is how often they change up their seasonal items so I was excited to stop in yesterday to try some of their limited run items. It’s located in a shopping mall so there is plenty of free parking all around. It’s also in a less busy part of Los Angeles so it’s never quite as crowded as some of the more central locations. Inside is very large, there are plenty of tables to dine in, but I always choose to grab to go. I also love how there are many kiosks as you enter so you can pretty much place your order as soon as you arrive. The seasonal items I tried were the French Onion Soup Burger, which I thought was fantastic. I am an onion and Gruyère fan so seeing that combo was an no-brainer. I also tried the Banana Pudding Shake, which I have had before, and loved. It had vanilla wafer crumbles on top and just was honestly delicious. I also tried the Parmesan Garlic Fries to mix it up and thought they were great as well. I would suggest ordering a side of cheese and mixing that for another great combo. I would recommend and will be back again many times in the future.
Ordering is easy with self service tablets and food is prepared quickly. Space was large enough to accommodate our party of 5 and the workers were nice and checked in from time to time. Atmosphere was also good, everyone was enjoying their food and sharing laughs
The food was sooooooo good. So fresh. The employees were absolutely so friendly and very kind. I love that about a place. When the employees are awesome and make you feel welcome it just makes you feel so valued and appreciated as a guest. Customer service is a rarity anymore but this place is excellent at it. I hope you appreciate your employees! I think they all deserve raises (: Trying to find parking here was insane. This seems to honestly be an LA area issue. You guys need more parking garages.
Buying a chicken sandwich is risky business, sometimes you get an amazing sandwich and sometimes you get a cold, stringy soggy dog. Consistency is everything. This was my first time having chicken sandwiches at Shake Shack and they were awesome! I have had chicken sandwiches everywhere and usually KFC makes the best but these were the best I have ever had and are my new favorite. The classic chicken sandwich was thick and juicy, the pickles were amazing, the bun was perfect. The spicy chicken sandwich with the "Hot Ones" sauce (actually spicy), bacon and cheese was almost a religious experience. 🙌🏼🐔. These are the most expensive chicken sandwiches in the fast food world (classic $8 spicy $10) but they were totally worth it. I can’t give advice on anything else they offer because I’m all about those chicken sandwiches.
This was our first visit to Shake Shack and it did not disappoint! The burger was amazing and their fries were delicious. They were hot and crisp. No limp fries. My husband loved their lemonade as well. Will definitely visit again when down in the area. We are from the Central Valley (California). Additionally, the staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Wonderful dining experience.
My first visit to Shake Shake was in Marina Del Rey at about eight thirty on a Tuesday evening. Incredible visit. I ordered a single level cheese burger, chocolate shake and French fries. Berger was perfect, cooked just right and the single layer was easy to eat without making a mess. The French fries were crisp, salted just the right amount. Restaurant was spotlessly clean. Even with Covid social distancing we were able to get a table inside. There were two outside tables available. Great way to end the day.
So glad to see Shake Shack finally open in Marina del Rey! This is the same Shake Shack you know and love. Burgers are tasty, milkshakes are delicious, and fries are crispy as ever. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but I enjoyed the meal. The location is very modern and has a bunch of tablets to order off of if you don't want to go up to the window. It's a nice no-pressure way to order and customize your burger.
Shake Shack is an excellent Burger and chicken sandwich spot with this spot being a great example of the chain. I just ordered a smoke shack double in. Lettuce wrap with chicken bites. Also ordered a side of nacho cheese, mayo and honey mustard. Overall lunch was good, the setup seems to be more kiosk style because it’s presented at the front. Not a fan of this setup but it’s somewhat efficient and you can’t really rate customer service. I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items.
Very very good burger. Excels on the type of burgers it proposes to make. Their fries though, are very greasy.. You season them yourself, and although they are crunchy I am not a fan of this wavy (?) format. It’s stated that the house beer is made by Brooklyn Brewery (which I know is a good quality brewery) but I found it to be average at best. If everything was as good as the burger I would give the place five stars. But it isn’t. Never tried the shake this franchise has their name for. Too much weight on my conscience for that! Service here was fast and of top quality. All in all a very good option for burgers.
Had the ‘Shroom burger for the first time, and it’s delish! Breaded and deep fried and stuffed with melted Muenster and cheddar cheeses on a delicious potato roll bun... mm mm good! So tasty and definitely not healthy, haha. The bacon cheese fries got a bit cold by the time I ate them, but I still liked the thick, crinkle cut potatoes. The strawberry milkshake with malt added was the bomb! So creamy and delicious—just like eating liquid ice cream. The unsweetened iced tea cut the sweetness of the sugary lemonade in the Fifty/Fifty.
Its down by the marina and its no different than a spin off of in and out. Slight difference Shak3 Shack can sell beer.. I ate at this marina del Rey location. I would expect high standards in service quality and I think you get the point. Anyways, I had a hard time getting to the place just because of the freaking parking lot and entitled drivers as well as people. Im sorry the area may be a nicer choice of living, but you don't get entitlement rights!! Please come down off the cloud and see the world in the perfect lens of reality! Need not dive deeper but in hopes you understand the underlying effect before entering the establishment. I finally walked into this place after the charades I played in the parking lot, I looked up and around trying to grasp the setting and I was not to enthusiastic about the building the company the atmosphere tone. It was a basic blahhh feeling that overcame me and my smile went from lively to dull. I said to myself, "ahhh chop it up for a loss and regroup!!" I did that and was kind of catching a freestyle but dress to impress want to throw it in others face vibe. That was the second time which sucks because the shake shack in Santa Monica kicks ass with a chill vibe and friendly workers and manager too. This location is very different and maybe there is a a work atmosphere that mimics the attitude of snootyness, entitled, and judgmental, because this vibe is exactly how it was.... The reality of it all- this establishment is like a crossover with cars. Cars are wanting to be suv's. Think about it (my goal is not to offend shake shack at all i really like the products), if businesses mold and shape societal views and people's perspectives i guess its doing it with this particular shake shack. Back to the experience as to why I am providinng the stars and babbling review. .. This location in marina del Rey did not have one clean table to sit at and there were a few table with people. Cleanliness is key, and if there are dirty tables imagine what the restroom looks like.... there were a lot of employees too but i guess the importance was focused on talking and gossiping because it wasnt too busy and there wasnt a drive thru. One can assume some employees were to caught up in their own personal conversations to notice the dining area. After all you have to use the dining area to get to the bathroom, so this is definitely a hygienic and sanitary issue if people broke this down, but does anyone actually care to think about these issues or wait for the next person to say what you were already thinking. Next--- the food----- Food is good although it was too oily t his last time and I swear everything shrunk in size because the hamburgers are now half the size of what they used to be but almost 2xs the amount. I think it is fair to state I did not have a good experience and I want to keep it like that because the shake shack really is a cool neat little corporate hamburger stand. The first of its kind/just kidding... Overall the experience i expected based on previous experience with surrounding shake shacks was a great positive experience; however; this one left a sour taste in my mouth to which I will not order from here again. It was way to much work just getting to this place and then to walk in to an unsanitary establishment after seeing every table was dirty or maybe a toddler cleaned the tables. There are child labor laws in violation if toddlers are bussing tables 🤣🤣.
I finally tried Shake Shack. I was disappointed and shocked that the hype didn't come close to reality or my expectations. I went to an excellent location by the harbor in Marina del Rey. I was served a weird burger. The tiny hamburger patty seemingly had a chunk of meat missing. It was like 3/4 of a patty that didn't even come close to filling the bun. I love crinkled fries but not cold, hard, and crunchy. The hamburger tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. The restaurant and the restrooms were borderline clean. I can't recommend Shake Shack, especially for the price. In a reply to my reviw, a Shake Shack manager acknowledged the condition of the restrooms and dining area and offered me some kind of make-up if I provided a receipt? I'll be back sometime to do an update of my independent review. I much prefer Hi Ho and their wagyu burgers only a block away. Check out my review of them.
