The multi/ 9 grain pancakes are seriously the best I've ever had!! I mostly get breakfast but I did have the salmon once and it was also very good. I approve!

I Have not been to Denny’s in years so I decided to go. It was fantastic! The food was hot and fresh and the service was great. The staff was super friendly. It was spotless too! The cinnamon roll pancakes were the best. I love this Denny’s!

I go to Denny's for the hash browns and they did not disappoint. Good simple breakfast, friendly, efficient service. I don't understand why non-chain diners cannot make a dish as simple as hash browns. But Denny's can!
I had Multigrain pancakes with eggs bacon and potatoes.....It was Delicious....My compliments to the Chef....My friend had soup and a sandwich which also was very good.....Two very good meals and a very enjoyable place to dine...

This place has stepped up its game and is back to being a top Long Island contender. The new menu items are glorious and none of the classics are gone. Giant upgrade for the Dennys franchise overall. Go ahead and check it out,I am very impressed with what they have done there.
I have been here many times. Each time it had been quick to be seated. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always look happy to be doing their job. Did its always exactly how I ordered it. No complaints. Can't go wrong with this Denny's.
Hell yeah. Came here at 10pm, staff was super chill, they even let us special order food. Had the whole place to ourselves, it was awesome!!!

Excellent and friendly service, all food was prepared well, and was delicious. We went early, before the rush on Valentine's day, and we were in and out unbelievably fast. They followed COVID protocol completely, and everyone was spaced well. I was pleasantly surprised, as it can get extremely busy, due to the area.
As always, great! Anyone who has gone to this location knows it's an amazing staff, and food is on point. And for anyone on the contrary, they are always receptive, and staff will help adjust your order. That's service! That's quality!
Had a great breakfast here pancakes are banging so so good eggs were cooked perfect. My server was great coffee was never empty and they have some great coffee. Place was clean and the bill was fair. I was very pleased

Can't say enough good things about this place It has a old fashion feel. Like a country diner in the middle of West Virginia. Not fancy at all. However, its clean and you barely have to wait to be seated. Food comes our reasonably fast. The food is delicious by the way. Just as good as its competitor Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They make you feel so welcomed. I spend about $60 for a family of four. It's very affordable. Love this place. Been going their since 2012 will continue. Its become one of our family favorite places to go. If you are in the area, please stop by. You will find that they exceed your expectations...

Amazing Denny's. Food was excellent and service was great! However, perhaps the reason for that is because the restaurant was not busy at all. Not sure if it's always like that. The last remaining Denny's on Long Island.
The moment we walked in, the hostess was friendly as well as the workers. Our wait staff Jennifer was excellent! Jennifer made sure we were happy with the food & service. Jennifer made customers feel very comfortable & relaxed! We will definitely come back again!

5 stars because the food is great! We recommend the brisket grilled cheese! However, the place is mostly empty and you will wait about a half hour for your food. Wait staff was friendly, and accommodating. Just don't go there starving.......Update, restaurant is currently under new management. They will no longer accept digital coupons that are NOT printed out, like they had previously done. Also, coupon MUST have an actual expiration date (not just say for use in 2019).

Let me begin this review by saying I rarely eat at chain restaurants and the last time I ate at a Denny's was in the late 1990's. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first but I was happily surprised. I ordered an egg white, veggie omelette and it was delicious! I especially enjoyed the roasted squash and mushrooms filling. The home fries were also really good. As was the coffee! All in all, eating at this Denny's was a treat!
Staff was great food was decent- place was an absolute ghost town when I went. Bathrooms had like 5 air fresheners which made me kinda lose my appetite and could definitely use a tidy but it wasn't a deal breaker. I would go back, they have so many food options I may have just picked a dud.
This is one of my favorite places to go with friends. I like the atmosphere, the service I get from the waitresses and most of the food. Their coffee and breakfast items are delicious. Pancakes are not as fluffy as Ihop pancakes, but I still like them. There is one thing that I have an issue with is that certain dishes that I order get a bit overcooked such as the skillets. Not to the point where I can't eat it, but it does affect the quality.
It's good for breakfast but I wouldn't have any other meal. I felt rushed to order and was bothered by the server after the food came. Too many visits to my table.

Went here for breakfast with my husband. The service was good, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food was very good and the bathroom was clean. The reason for four stars and not five-we each had one cup of coffee, which was never refilled, nor was there an offer to refill it. Each cup cost $3.50. It was a regular size mug, nothing special, not oversized or anything. I know that prices have gone up but that seemed a bit outrageous. In total, we paid close to $40 (before tip) for breakfast for two. Sorry to say, we won't be going back. For us, it was just a little too pricey for coffee and pancakes.
The restaurant was very clean and the service was great. Lots of breakfast options with choice of ingredients. I was able to make a substitution with no problem. I picked a Grand Slam with tasty scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage links and pancakes. The chocolate pancake balls with the cream cheese frosting were a hit with everyone at the table. You may order breakfast, lunch or dinner all day. Denny's fries were perfectly crispy and not greasy. I liked that they are raising money to fight childhood hunger.
We were placed in a far corner booth because I had my service dog. This is not the first time. Service seemed a bit discombobulated and slower than usual and we went in at a time when, maybe, 4 booths were occupied.
Last time I was here the menu was bad. This time it was much better. The selection was changed but good. The service was okay as I wanted another drink but once we gave our order s we didn't see the waitress again. Where other staff brought our food out to us and that was chaotic, but wasn't there fault because they didnt take the order.

Pretty good for the price. Coupons make it very affordable and are pretty easy to find. Only complaint is the waiters / waitresses frequently smoking right outside the front door and then coming straight in to take orders still smelling of smoke.
A little dirty . Menus, tables, floors BATHROOM.. no soap , toilet paper and seat covers. Granted we came on a Sunday night at 11pm but there was server's just sitting and texting/ chilling. I heard one say she was there from 9 in the morning. So I get it!.. but certainly need someone to keep things sterile. Or least looking fresh. Otherwise food was dayummm good! I've never seen so garbage on the carpet. Place isn't crowded. Coffee is burnt to the hilt. There are approximately 8 people eating in here & nobody cleaning the rug at all. I ordered french toast I literally got a piece of bread in half. Usually you get at least 2 pieces. My friend got the chicken sandwich said it's blah.
If this place had a little better service, it would always be packed. The prices are fair and the food is good, when they cook it right. But this place needs better service because it's bad. You're not lucky if toy go there and there's no wait... it's because the service is really bad
Horrific customer service! Never going back. Updated review: decided to come in today and give them another try. The food was okay. I ordered the French toast slam and it wasn't as warm as I would've liked. The waitress was very pleasant and waited on me as soon as I sat down, that was great! It's always freezing cold, and I believe this also attributes to the food getting so cold very quickly.
This isn’t about a location it’s about the company itself. The “promo” of 20% off the order is a lie. 93 cents isn’t 20% off of $11.68 which is what my order is on the app with the TAX of 93 cents. That’s all it took off was the tax. I should actually be getting $2.34 off my order. What a lie.
Took a long time to get food other people that came in after got food before us and when it came out it was wrong and the hash browns were burnt. I do love there pancakes and server was good but they need to improve kitchen food is good some days and not others.
They were so slow with our food.. It took forever to get our drinks and silverware.... However it was a Tuesday and New Years Day! My youngest children were free meals, they took off all drinks and they gave us free deserts. We ended up paying 32 dollars for a family of 5!! All the food was hot! Just because I am a senior doesn't mean I want to be seated at the geriatric section. I should be able to pick where I want to sit. I was over charged. Dennys supposedly is have a special for $7.88. We were charged the full price. Also who the heck pays almost four dollars for a cup of coffee. It wasn't even a full mug. Although the server was very nice he had no clue as to the special.

It's the McDonald's of diners. The food turned to cement in my stomach, but it otherwise tasted good. The people are friendly but distracted. Eggs were fine, but the bacon was sad and the sausage links makes Banquet seem 5 stars. Potatoes tasted like cigarette ash and my drink tasted like someone cleaned the glass with menthol. If you have to eat here, go for pancakes.
The service was adequate. The food portions were big. The quality was awful. I ordered crispy bacon and got a limp ball of fat. The eggs seemed to be made from part powder. The potatoes or has browns as they were called, we burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. The sausages tasted like someone dipped them in a perfume. I ended up at Denny’s because it was the only nearby place open for breakfast, and it served its purpose as a decent spot for a meal with friends or family. Overall, it’s fine for convenience, but nothing I’d go out of my way to revisit. If you’re looking for a quick, filling breakfast, this place will do, but don’t expect anything memorable.

Waitress was slow. Did not clear dirty dishes from soup when she brought the sandwiches. Also, unable to multi task. Very important for a waitress. There were only two other tables of customers. Now I remember why I haven't been there in two years.
The food wasn’t bad but the service was terrible. Our waitress was Mary and she walked around the dining room like she was lost. She was rude and never came over to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. We had to ask her halfway through our meal for napkins and that was after she was standing behind us not saying anything but looking at us. Our dirty plates were left on the table while we waited over 10 mins for our check.
Service was slow with only three tables at 8pm. Also the burger was very salty as were the fries and the burger was dripping with grease. This is the first time I had a negative experience.
After 10 minutes upon arrival, waitress finally comes over and says I'll be right with you. After another 10 minutes, I got up and got my own waitress. Order came out cold, wrong. Will never come back again. Our waitress, the one I got, was great though. Her name was Ashley. She made the order right, except for the cold food. We waited long enough, didn't want to wait longer
Service was fine but they were really understaffed. Granted it was 3am but having only one person to seat customers, wait tables and run food seems to be a but much. Food was great and came out quick. My rating does not reflect poorly on the staff at all, it reflects the excuse for an owner that allowed the place to become so decrepit. The interior is extremely rundown and damaged. Speakers were playing music the whole time but they were so old and damaged I couldn't even figure out what song was playing, just sounded like distorted noise. Bathroom was pretty gross and the smell of urine was overpowering. The whole place just does not look clean which is not an impression you want to get from a resturant. I could go on but you get the message. Basically the service is fine but the owner is hilariously incompetent.
The food was to regular Denny's quality although the service was not. The staff was very rushed and busy, they didn't seem to have control over serving all their guests. Although there was nobody in front of us we still had difficulties trying to be greeted to a table. Once we were seated and order it was roughly a 25-30 minute wait for food. Now I'm not entirely sure if I've had extremely good luck with other dennies locations prior to this although I can't say I've had more than a 15 minute wait. Overall, expect long wait times and no service to the table after your order has been fulfilled.
There's currently a mask mandate in new york. That is why I have to rate this place so low. The food is great, and the service is great, but there is a sign on the door saying that a mask is required to enter the premises. I was there for dessert tonight(and dinner another night) and when I entered, not a single member of the staff had a mask on. They don't enforce the masks, even though they have a sign up. We did not feel safe.
Ordered a meal and was pretty let down. Needed butter and had to flag someone down just to get it. No one checked in once to see if I needed anything else. Coffee was another miss - drank the whole thing and not a single refill offer. Service was seriously lacking. Won't be back.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. We sat for an hour and a half with no food. When our appetizer finally came out it was ice cold. We wanted to send it back but our waitress was MIA. Our food finally comes and it's all wrong. When I ask the waitress to take the food back and bring us our check because we no longer wanted it, she gets nasty! She tells me her manager is in the front. I went to the front spoke to the manager and told him I wasn't paying for anything. His response was "ok" as the waitress tried to make us pay for something we didn't eat. WORST experience. They need to close.
We walked in at 10:01 and the server said they were closing at 11:00 but that they stop seating an hour before close, and that he would get in trouble for seating us if they checked the time stamps and saw that we were sat 60 seconds late. Please just put that somewhere online or change the hours to say that the lobby's closed or something.
First and last time coming. Place was dirty, carpets a mess. Both my mother and I had 2 small bugs each on our arms throughout being here, lovely. Staff was loud in the back yelling and laughing like high schoolers. Mom had a fiesta skillet and it looked a mess, and I had a club sandwich which was fine, bread barely toasted. $35 later, one of the worst places we've been.
We waited a very long time for a our order, guest who sat and ordered after us got their food before us . We also received the wrong food order not once but twice. Service was not the greatest and management did nothing to accommodate us at all . We will not returning to this location as loyal customers no longer very disappointed.
Everytime I online order, I pay extra for Toast. And they never give me my toast. Not driving 30 minutes back just for toast but cmon can't even get a refund either. Update: just ordered yesterday, and they forgot my salad too. Asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one in at all that day, and would receive a call back. Second time at this location in 2years and I should've continued to stay away. Slow had to leave seating because it was dirty, even though barely anyone in there.That made it worse due to the slow staff and just bad food. one out of 2 meals was returned due to spoiled sour etc.etc. it could stand to have a remodeling job. More staff better a chef 😒. Unlikely I'd ever go back.
Service was the worst. Took them 3 times to bring toast that wasn't cold, then burnt and by then I was finished with my eggs. I only went there because the diner was packed. And I knew it was a mistake but didn't want to wait. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Always under staffed and seems like very inexperienced serversand the cashier was on another planet
Honestly, if it wasn't for the kids asking to go, I don't think I will go to Denny's again, voluntarily. Everything seemed pre packed/frozen and they just warmed it up. We had better quality food at home and could have made Everything we paid for at Home. Sorry Denny's owners and fans, this is just my opinion.
As we were being seated I noticed the floor was filled with dirt, tables weren't clean. The hostess went to seat us and dropped silverware on the floor at our table didn't even pick it up. There was fluid on the table and also on the seats and she didn't even clean it up or try to seat us somewhere else. This place is disgusting, we didn't even stay we turned around and left. This place is unsanitary!!!!
The service was terrible. We were seated right away, our waitress, Shannon asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered 3 coffees. Then she took our order. After waiting 20 minutes, we still did not receive our coffee yet other people seated after us were being brought there coffee, juice, water. So I stopped asked another waitress about getting our coffee. She said she would take care of it. Finally we got our. Our breakfast was delivered same time, but part of my order was missing. Our waitress Shannon walked by and I called to her and she ignored. So I called over a hostess and told her what was going on. She brought out what was missing and offered 20% off our meal for the poor service we were receiving. But it didn't stop there, Shannon our waitress ignore us through our entire meal, did not ask us if we needed anything else or apologize for her poor service. Then when it came time to leave she threw the receipt on the table, didnt say a word and walked away. When we got to the checkout the cashier asked how everything was and I told her what happened, she then got a manager and I told her. Here I found out that this isn't the 1st time she has had complaints about Shannon the waitress in the Centereach Location. To top that off the girl wants to be a manager. Thats not going to happen until she can become a good waitress and over come her rudeness, take responsibility for her poor actions. They should have - 🌟, for times like this one.
The table was dirty, when we were seated the guy brushed the food off the table with his hands. My spoon had dried egg on it. It took 1/2 an hour to get my "cold" eggs, 45 minutes to get my second cup of coffee. I don't blame the waitress, it was just way understaffed. There were only two waitress working as far as we could see.
First time I ever went this place. First thing it is overpriced for what you get. Second the food is not that good. For example. The hash browns was very dry. The eggs was overcooked. The sausage was tiny and shriveled. My wife looked at me, and said is this a joke for the price we just paid. First and last time for this place.my fault should have taken her to I hop.
If I could give a lower score I would. The food was awful. Out of our group of 5 people 3 had extremely over cooked scrambled eggs that they just couldn't eat they were so bad. 2 people got burnt bacon and the fresh fruit in the children's meal had blueberries with hard little stems on most of them that I had to pick off before they could be eaten. They seemed understaffed. The wait staff was very friendly. I wish I could have complained but was there for my mother's birthday and I know it would have upset her if I did.
I just had the worst dining experience in my life. The food was lukewarm, even the coffee. The service was terrible. After bringing my food to the table, my waiter was nowhere to be found. There was no follow-up. No Is everything okay?" No, "Would you like more coffee?" Nothing. After sitting at my table for a full fifteen minutes after finishing my breakfast I tried to flag down another waitress. I know she saw me. We made eye contact and I waved but she turned away and left the dining area. I went to the front counter and no one was there. I could hear voices from the kitchen, including that of my initial waiter, but no one was at the front counter. And no one showed up for a full five minutes. I could have walked out the door and driven away without anyone noticing. Finally, the manager appeared and when I complained about my experience he attempted to defend the waitress that ignored me. When he should have said "We apologize for the inconvenience" he wouldn't even listen to my complaint and, instead attempted to make poor excuses for his waitress. Then he asked me for my table check - this is after I had already explained that both my waiter and the waitress never came over. I explain again and he asked me where I was sitting and then tries to charge me for another table. My table was a corner booth so there could be no mistaking where I had pointed. So I told him he had the wrong table and he said it was my fault again. The manager's incompetence and insolence, not to mention the absentee waitstaff and the lukewarm food are why I will never visit this Denny's ever again.
Had breakfast there yesterday with 2 friends and we all had the worst experience. Orders were prepared wrong and took way to long for the food to be served. Eggs way over cooked, wrong toast, very small portion of hash browns. Not a fault of the waitress. Manager said they were training new kitchen staff and gave us our meals on the house along with a apology. Better luck next time we hope.
I never write rewievs but this time I had to. First of all the waiters look like they just woke up....undone hair and their presentation was not professional. Our waiter had his pants hanging so you could see his underwear! The place wasn't busy and we waited more then half an hour for our food, when we finally got it I was grossed out...the plates were greasy like with finger prints all over them. Same with the utensil. I order tea with lemon and when I got my lemon it was still with the sticker on! Who does that? Overall unpleasant experience the place is dirty and disgusting the carpets there are old and stink. I will never go back. I only gave one star for the pancakes because my kids said they were good.
Not happy with the service my wife and I received. The waitress was rude and nasty. Never came by and ask how was the food. I was afraid to ask for anything else. My wife order the tilapia fish and It was uncooked, it was sent back to the cook. The manager came by or person in charge, and apologized. She did not identify herself. I wonder why the place was empty. I hope the management look into the Denny's in Centereach, NY. I hoped something get done about this. This is a place I used to visit at least 3times a week. Worst service ever! Not the waitresses fault. Left after sitting for more than a half hour with no service 7/24. Not even a cup of coffee. Heard another patron tell the manager they waited for food over an hour. The manager should have been better prepared for a Sunday morning service. At the very least he should have been working the room. Never going back again! After we left my niece told me the service there is always like that. Went to the dinner up the road and we were eating 15min after they sat us. Did I say we were a group of seven?
If I could i would give it 0 stars. The waitress had an attitude with us but treated and checked on all the other tables. My friend asked for another water and she just kept walking and taking care of other tables. The food was dry. Definitely not worth the price. As it is we are sitting here for 15 minutes now with empty drink cups
I wouldn't go back. I was there with my sister-in-law and our babies. The hostesses wasn't polite and insisted that we get highchairs so the waiter can have room to serve the food. First of all my son is 7 months old and he was sleeping in the stroller and my niece is a year and was napping as well. It was 1130 in the morning on a Friday. The restaurant was dead. They had plenty of tables and plenty of room to serve the food. Needless to say I did not wake up my son and put him in the dirty highchairs that they provided. On top of that the waiter was not friendly he served the table by us the wrong food and made a mistake on my order as well. Like I said it wasn't busy and he didn't come over once to check on us and when we asked for the check he took his time getting it for us.
I visited this location on 9/16, and sat with sue. It was late, probably after 1 am, but we were still expecting half way decent service. If I could give sue and her nasty attitude negative stars I would. We were freezing, and asked the host to turn off our fan, which she was happy to do. But after sue dropped off our food she proceeded up to the host stand and started yelling about the fan being turned off. When she returned at least 20 minutes later, apologized for her tantrum but went into detail about the sweat dripping down her face. 2 out of the 5 people in our party had an issue with our food but she never came by to ask how it was. Horrible horrible experience. Stay away!!!!
I have been here 4 times. The first 2 visits were great. Last 2 bad. We had to wait a long time to be seated on our 3rd visit. Meanwhile the place was empty. This last time, currently sitting in a booth, we waited over 15 min for the waitress to come over. Place empty again. Do we will be not coming back.
STAY AWAY - Never going back. This is the second time I paid for an item via mobile order and did not receive it. Not to mention, I purposefully got there early because I got tired of the cold food. I figured I'll get it as soon as it comes out. Waited 15mins longer than it was supposed to take (o I came early for no reason), especially since the food was STILL cold. It's become really pathetic how there's barely anyone there, including staff, and the people that do work there all seem miserable and innately awful or apathetic at their job. It's overpriced as it is, but to continually rob your customers? Never again.
I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Denny’s. When I walked in, the host told me he “wasn’t sure if there were any clean tables”… even though there were multiple empty, clean tables clearly visible all around the restaurant. There was no line, no wait, and the place was almost empty. The excuse made no sense, and it became obvious that they simply did not want to seat me. While I stood there waiting for no reason, other people who arrived after me were greeted and seated without any issues. This wasn’t about a lack of tables — it was about a lack of respect. The attitude and tone I received made me feel unwelcome, as if they didn’t want me there at all. And that kind of behavior is discrimination, plain and simple. I’ve visited many Denny’s locations before and never experienced anything like this, which makes this incident even more disappointing. I will not be returning to this Denny’s, and I’m sharing this review so others are aware of the unacceptable treatment customers may receive here. I truly hope the management addresses this, because no one should be made to feel unwelcome.
This place is the worst, don’t come here if you have the whole day to eat here that’s fine. The staff don’t care if you are a customer or not. They are just there to hang out. The whole place is empty and they told me to wait for a table? Sure I waited 20 minutes and just hear the staff chitchatting. Don’t come here and waste your time.
