Have vegan options. Something McDonald's nearby doesn't have. Also the queue is fast so you don't have a lot of waiting. Even though it's not organized at all, you will need to wait for when your number will be shouted. They didn't give us forks, knives or ketchup by default but after asking them it was free.
Located in the food court of Woodbury Commons. Friendly staff and clean. The line moved quickly and didn’t have to wait too long for the food. It was all good. Sadly, most of the cheese settled at the bottom of the tots.
New Wagyu burger melt. Toasted white is crunchy & beef is tender moist with sweet onions, cheese, & pickles. Pretty damn good! Cooked to order so waited 5 minutes. I would have preferred sauerkraut over pickles 😇
Favorite food in the food court. Usually quick lines. The warm comfort food is perfect after a long day of shopping. Deshawn was really helpful and made great menu recommendation 👍

Got some lunch from here on our day trip to Woodbury commons. Not too many people, easy to put in an order quickly. The menu looks mouthwatering. But when I got my chicken sandwich, it was utter disappointment. Just plain bread, with a piece of chicken and barely some mayo on it, just to check off the box. The picture in the menu had no resemblance of what I was served. I did order a chocolate shake too. It was little better than quality than the sandwich.
I feel like Meltshop is no longer what it used to be. I remember getting their truffle melt years before and I thought it was very tasty. However, today the melts did not seem to satisfy. It is still good but maybe not worth its price. I also got their chipotle chicken salad . It was decent, but I had no expectations. I think there is less cheese on the melts now. However, I would say the fried chicken in the crispy chicken melt was nicely cooked and appropriately seasoned. The service was good and the wait time was appropriate. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and I will probably try other things in the menu, but I hope they improve on presentation and the quantity of cheese since it is a grilled cheese shop after all.
This restaurant is good, but the quality still needs improvement. The price they are charging is not matching with quantity. Chicken sandwich size is very small compared to price.
Total Score: 5.11 Bathroom: 3.75/5 Technically it’s the mall bathroom but ‘twas clean and tidy. Faucets were highkey kinda broken. Customer Service: N/A Was takeout restaurant Ambiance: 4/5 Not much to comment on cuz it’s the mall but nothing to complain about! Food: 2.5/5 Super soggy woggy goggy. Also was kinda tricked cuz in the picture of the menu the burger looked so big but when I got it it was tiny 😭. But the flavors were all there still. Highkey was kinda too sweet cuz too much sauce Wow: -0.25/1 Deceiving menu ☹️ Total Score = (BR + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW)/0.9
The grilled chicken was a bit over cooked. Compared to other melt shop locations this one is slightly more expensive and slightly less tasty.
Sandwich was okay. I would call it overpriced if you ask me. With Mcd, Chipotle, and other dining options around you, better to go there instead. At least you will be less broke by the end of your meal.
Solid sandwich and mac n cheese for lunch. Quick and no hassle amid the Labor Day crowd and bustle.

Food was okay. Loaded fries had a bit of kick to it. I liked the fries. Little crispy but also soft. The tots were okay. The burger was okay as well. My husband said he prob would not eat it again. And it was OVER PRICED

A let down. We ordered grilled cheese, cheesesteak, burger melt, chicken fingers. They didn’t look anything like the ones “advertised” in Google Map. Totally overhyped reviews. The grilled cheese was dry, while the burger melt was a grilled cheese version with some bad meat on top, which by the way, wasn’t a burger. It was minced meat from last week. The cheesesteak wasn’t like the one advertised where you can dip in the cheese sauce. The sauce was so dry and totally tasteless. The chicken was disappointing. If you’re looking for a decent place to eat at the Outlets, try others but not the Melt Shop. We spent $62 for bad food and meh shakes and hyped spring water. Nothing was worth the time and $ spent.
I got to say that I'm REALLY disappointed at Melt Shop. I was expecting Chick-fil-A or Shake Shack grade chicken tenders. Except what I got was dried and burnt chicken. It looks like some of the pieces have been cooked multiple times prior. Definitely will NOT recommend this place to eat. Better off going to the McDonald's in the food court. You'll definitely get better quality food.
order the original chicken sandwich and compared to a $1 chicken sandwich from McD’s, McD’s was bigger and slightly thicker. took long time to get meal for one, almost like 25 minutes which is unacceptable. in the photo you can see sauce container almost same size as the sandwich
The food sucked. It’s also overpriced. The chicken was dry as hell. The fries were mid. I wish I didn’t order from here because I barely touched my food and I spent almost $20 for it. I didn’t like the seasoning they used for it at all. It was such a waste of money tbh.... I don’t understand why people like hype it....should’ve just got McDonald’s 💀✌🏽oh well lol
Customer service especially the guy who was working on July 11th, giving me looks and being kids when I asked for a extra barbecue sauce. Never again plus the Mac and cheese were full of grease. But the shake was good

I have eaten at the market hall probably a dozen times and I decided to try the Melt Shop. What a mistake. I got some chicken sandwich melt. It wasn’t edible. One bite and I threw it out. Staff seems disinterested to think what they were doing was a joke. Just there collecting an hourly wage. It was incredibly disappointing experience. Too many good choices go somewhere else.
Really disturbing food handling today. The young woman that was cooking fries literally pulled the trash can out and put trash into it with BARE HANDS, smashed the garbage down into the can with her hand (I’m talking elbow deep with her arm in the trash ) and continued to work with food afterwards. No washing hands at all….. but later on she put one glove on to deal with fries (ma’am, your hand is DIRTY, wash it before putting a glove on) That’s the most disgusting thing I’ve seen for a long time. Are they supposed to have a food handlers certificate to work there? Just basic common sense and hygiene not being followed. I’m afraid to know what else she does when no one is watching. There was no way to even bring it up because the whole crew was hanging out with her in the back. Someone please talk to this young lady, because that is beyond gross.
If you're in Woodbury Commons. The Melt shop ISN'T the place for a good sandwich. Very little meat for the price. Not tasty. I usually don't eat fast foods but really didn't have many choices here. Thought I'd try something new. Not ever again.
